I've had the privilege of working with GDR for 8 years now. We started out with adopting one pup and that turned into being a foster household in WA state. The world can be a cruel place and getting to be involved with a rescue that dedicates all their time, energy and love into these fur kids is such a blessing. There is no case too hard or dog unworthy, they truly go above and beyond.

God's Dogs Rescue is a wonderful caring heaven sent from above. They have saved so many dogs & found great forever homes for them. They go above & beyond for dogs. I adopted from them picture below.

    Dog

Gods Dog is a fabulous rescue. I've fostered multiple dogs for them and they provide any and all supplies needed. We adopted our last foster and she's the best pup you could ever ask for. They're so supportive with advice and help and have even helped out my personal dogs. They truly care about the animals and go above and beyond.

Eva Jane on the left and her twin Ava Jean on the right. Just LOVE! The only way to know them apart is that Ava's eyebrows are pronounced.

We got twin TINY black puppies from God's Dogs and couldn't possibly be happier....and neither could our "Eva Jane" and "Ava Jean." Take a look at them and you'll see that my daughter and I were the ones who were truly "rescued." These are ANGELS in black!

    Beautiful Sierra!

We had a very positive experience adopting our dog. It can be difficult to look at all the dogs available and know which would be the best fit for our family. So, we sent the rescue a paragraph describing in detail what we were hoping for, and the paragraph was forwarded to every foster family to see what they thought! We ended up having two foster moms recommend dogs they thought sounded just right. We talked in more detail with each foster and ended up choosing Jellybean (now named Sierra). The foster mom also got to speak up about the potential adoption, too - she wanted Jellybean to go to a great home. It was a wonderful experience. Sierra was transported by van and we received pictures during the trip before finally meeting her in person. Thank you, God's Dogs! We will definitely think of you in the future, and we wish you all the best.

Correspondence with Julie from God's Dog Rescue.

CORRESPONDENCE ATTACHED along with a picture of our lovey sick doggy. In December we adopted a 1.5 year old American Blue Heeler. From the second we got her home she had health problems. They said it was because she was stressed from transport from Texas. It got worse so we took her to the vet and they told us that there was no way that it didn't present before we got her. We have spent over 1k on vet bills and medications. Today I messaged the foster who took care of her when she was with them asking to talk to the rescue about these issues. I'm not going to lie I was angry! I asked them if they knew anything about her health issues prior to her adoption. Which, by the way was $400. I received a call from a women named Julie. As soon as I said hello I could tell that she was going to be hostile. I explained all of our dogs health issues. She responded by saying there was no way they could have known about any of those. Which according to our vet was highly unlikely. She then proceeded to shame and basically say I was neglecting our dog and that she was actually still THEIR dog because THEY rescued her not me. She then said they need her back. The way she reacted makes me think that they knew about at least some of these issues before she came to us. You are 100% better off rescuing directly from a Texas Kill Shelter. You can fine a wonderful dog who will love you unconditionally for less money and you will know that they need your love. God's Dog Rescue definitely makes a profit off of every person who pays $400+ on adoption fees. They then ask for donations. Quite frankly I think it's a scam. You don't deserve to be lied to like I was. Please be really careful with who you adopt from so you don't make the same mistakes I have made. I hope this review was helpful.

I didn't have my head straight when we discovered baby girl had passed and chose the first place for cremation on Google, which was a certain animal hospital that when we got there said we would get her back in a month. After a few days my husband and I decided that that was too long and we found eternal waters online, watched the video of the process and liked that it was more environmentally friendly than traditional cremation. And the fact that my baby girl loved swimming in lakes and beaches seemed like this was meant to be. Thank goodness they offer pickup from the other clinic we had her at. That would've been tough for us to do. Lilia was super sweet and understanding even with my weird request of sending me a photo of Lucy to make sure the right dog was picked up. But thank goodness she suggested me sending her a photo of Lucy so she can confirm during the pickup. That made it a lot less painful. She texted me immediately on pick up that it was 100% my baby girl. Told it would take about a week but it ended up being 2 weeks. It was worth it with all of the extra things we got to keep in her memory. I had asked for an impression of her front 2 paws, one of her feet became deformed as she got older, a single paw print, a nose print, and her different colors of fur in a jar which I was really impressed she got all of the colors because I had just groomed my baby before she passed and her fur was short. I will take my future babies and recommend them to people in the future. She was so kind and understanding during one of our hardest losses. Thank you!
