Jorge gave me a super deal and the combination that he had great reviews made me feel very safe with my decision. Unfortunately, there were many things that happened throughout my experience with them that made me semi regret my decision? I mean, he did give me a great price but at what cost? I'll explain: Jorge's company was to repaint the entire exterior of my house, fix any rotten carpentry, and repair and replace gutters or downspouts that needed to be replaced. I think listing my up's and downs with his company is easier than essay form. Plus 1. He gave me the best price. 2. He was very responsive and present (at least before he was paid) 3. They finished the job very quickly (maybe not a good thing? See below) Minus 1. He was not very experienced with gutters/downspouts. Before he started with my gutters/downspouts, I asked him if he was experienced and he said yes. His work showed otherwise. Some of the downspouts were not connected to the gutter, the necks of the downspouts were not stabilized correctly, and the connections of the downspouts were not properly connected to the floor drains. I had to point out all of these errors and guide his company on how to fix them. At one point, he tried to assure me that even though the downspout wasn't connected to the gutter, it would not move. That made me very uneasy because I looked at like 20 houses and none of them looked like that. Ultimately he fixed the errors but not without a fight. He did give me a super price though. I think I would have paid 3 times what I paid if I went elsewhere. 2. He either tried to upsell me or just did not remember our conversation on the price for his work. We agreed on a price and that included EVERYTHING. Later on he tried to say materials were not included, which I took as an upsell. Ultimately, he ended up agreeing with me but as before, not without a fight. 3. His paint started bubbling. They primed the whole house but not the front door. I thought that was kind of weird but I just assumed they knew what they were doing so did not comment. The door paint started bubbling a couple weeks after they finished. There is also some bubbling on the front framing by our garage. I contacted Jorge and he assured me his company would come by and take care of it. He told me in the span of 2 weeks that he would show up twice but did not show. When I called him out on it, he seemed to be bothered by it. He was responsive and present before we paid him but seems like after we paid, he did not care much. 4. His follow up is not good. I always say you can tell a lot about a company on how they treat you after you paid them if something goes wrong. He no showed twice and seemed bothered when I called him out on it. He did say he would show at one point. I guess time will tell. Usually, I assume a company with good reviews cares about their online presence but at one point when we were arguing about the downspouts he said write a bad review, I don't care. It didn't make sense to me. It was like he was not the company I thought I hired. When we first discussed the price, he did negotiate with me and gave me a super price. Maybe that was the reason why he fought me on so many things. I think maybe he kept thinking you get what you pay for don't be so picky? Overall, the paint job looks good and I can probably fix the bubbling myself. But was the process smooth? Definitely not. He did give me a super deal though. I can't deny that. I think if more areas start bubbling, I will feel like he scammed/ripped me off but if just the door and the front area, I guess for the price, not bad. I just assumed the job would be done properly at the agreed price even though he gave me a deal. Either way, he did leave the conversation at "you will be scheduled" but the fact that he seemed bothered makes me assume he's not going to show up. Which is really odd for someone with good reviews. Originally, when we were fighting about the downspouts, I said I would not write him a bad review because I figured downspouts maybe aren't his thing. I mean he is marketed as a painting company. But now that his paint is starting to bubble I reconsidered. People need to know what they are getting into. To Jorge's credit, a lot of the mishaps that occurred were by his team. There were a couple times I caught him upset whispering under his breath after he realized he told his team to do something and they completely did the opposite. I think if you have a lot of people working under you it can be difficult to lead and communicate. And I think for the price he was giving me, it was probably difficult to pay his workers again to correct there work. I can empathize. I think if Jorge does end up fixing this issue, I will update the review but for now the vibe I get from him is he just doesn't care. He was paid and he's out. Not a good way to run a business or get referrals but hey, that may be his thing. read more

In the typical "If you give a mouse a cookie situation" we ended up pulling the trigger on repainting our whole house after having to re-paint one of our bathrooms due to wall damage. After asking around, Jorge offered the most competitive quote (a little more than 1/3 what our bathroom remodel contractors wanted to charge us) AND his price included the cost of materials. We were initially cautious given the lack of reviews, but bolstered by the few glowing reviews they had already garnered, we decided to take a chance on a new business. From the start, I knew we were in good hands. Jorge was very responsive and communicative over text. When he came in person to look at the house, the quote was exactly what he had estimated, no surprise revisions or upcharges. He is also the most chill person I have ever met. He offered to help my husband and I move some of our furniture to prepare for the paint job. When he saw my husband and I preparing to carry a desk upstairs, he hustled over to take it off my hands (Chivalry is not dead, people!) He even helped my husband figure out how to configure the internet so he could work from home while they painted (Jorge ended up passing the internet fiber through an open window to my husband in the other room.) His team was meticulous and courteous. They removed all the light switch covers, curtain rods, toilet holders, etc. before painstakingly applying plastic and tape over all the surfaces. They worked diligently each day from 7:30-5pm. One day, the team had a scheduling conflict and could not come in during the day -- Jorge asked for permission to bring his team in the evening instead to keep the project on track and ended up staying until 9pm. He quoted that the project would take 7-11 working days, and it took 8, including final touch-ups after our walkthrough. I'm a little OCD so I always feel bad during walkthroughs when I point out little imperfections that bother me. Jorge took it all in stride. We walked around with a roll of painter's tape and he would mark things I pointed out saying "Oh yeah, we can definitely fix that." He would also take initiative to put the tape on things that I didn't even notice. There was a doorbell cover that I did not know existed and he asked me if I wanted it painted to match the wall. I said, "Oh it doesn't really bother me that much" and he replied, "It bothers me. We'll paint it." That's the kind of attention to detail that Jorge and his team offer! In addition to paint, they also helped remove nails remaining in the wall, patched the drywall, and touched up the wall trim. In summary, I would highly recommend Jorge and his team. I would hire him again in a heartbeat for any paintjobs I have. read more

Jorge and his team started working on my garage last winter and did a great job! One of the best prices in the area. His team painted the garage and did the epoxy flooring. Unfortunately the epoxy flooring was done during the winter and did not cure enough and peeled after parking the cars(before photos posted). Jorge followed up 6mo later and had to redo the floors which added 3-4 more days of work because they had to remove the old epoxy. After fixing the erro, garage looks great and epoxy floors cured well. Truly a man of his word and takes pride in his work! read more

I submitted a Yelp Quote Request to paint the entire interior of a 3 bed, 1 bath 1100 sq ft rental home; walls and ceilings. I had several responses and had multiple quotes. Jorge was prompt to respond to my questions, upfront and overall great to deal with, and ultimately why I went with him, despite the lack of reviews at the time. We were able to come to an agreement on a Saturday and his team got started on the following Monday. Once started, he called out some inconsistencies with different trim and baseboard finishes, which could impact the rentability, for my consideration, without any pressure to do anything. I was so glad he brought it to my attention and he was right about the potentially negative impression. So we added all of the trim and baseboards for a very reasonable price, which did not add any time to complete the project and he was able to closely match the existing door color. Since then and having had such a great experience with him and his team, I had him come back to frame in, drywall and paint an existing doorway (see pics). Nothing short of amazing work in 2 short days, on 2 days notice. I have referred him to our property management team and will definitely book them for future jobs. read more

If I could give 6 stars, I would. I contacted Jorge to paint the inside of our home. From the onset, he was great with communication and set clear expectations. Though I was primarily looking for an interior paint job, I also needed drywall and patchwork done. That wasn't an issue for Jorge and his team. They were able to take that work on as well. His team arrived promptly each morning and were extremely friendly and courteous. They cleaned up each day and left the house so we could use the kitchen as needed. If we noticed something wasn't quite right, it wasn't an issue, they addressed it without any questions. The final product was wonderful. I submitted a Yelp Quote Request for to paint a bedroom and Jorge reached out to me. I was cautious to book because Gogo Gadget Painting was a brand new business without any reviews, but Jorge sent me referrals and photos of recent work. The quote was slightly below competition, but significantly below others. I ended up booking Gogo Gadget to paint the bedroom, but also added two hallways, stairs, all the baseboards and lots of touch ups around the house. Jorge was able to take samples of our walls to color match so the touch ups look seamless. We even had our carpet replaced a few days after painting, and Jorge and Josh came back after the carpet was done to retouch areas that the carpet company dinged. I got several quotes to get my house painted before selecting Gogo Gadjet Painting. I chose him because he was very responsive, gave a very comprehensive estimate and was very good at communicating with me. He engendered a feeling of trust and his guy were very methodical and diligent in preparing the house to be painted, thoroughly removing any peeling paint and replacing any damaged wood that was revealed. I trusted him so much that I felt comfortable leaving on vacation while they completed the work and came home to a beautiful home. Jorge and his team did an excellent job on our fence, front deck, and back balcony. He was highly communicative and easy to work with. Gogo Gadget Painting was able to apply wood stain to our wood even though it was previously finished. The old finish was peeling due to weather and sun exposure. They power washed, sanded, and then applied the new stain for us over the course of about 1 week. They also stained some wood furniture we had that was peeling.
