GoGo Sushi used to be in Kelowna and they moved to Lake Country. Yes they also changed the name from Asian Food Restaurant. Guess the rent in downtown Kelowna was too expensive that is why they moved. The prices were very reasonable. We were a party of 4. I got the Sushi, Sashimi combo. It came with: dynamite roll, salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, edamame but I substituted it with Sunomo Salad with shrimp, 2 pieces salmon sashimi, 2 pieces tuna sashimi, salad and miso soup for $16. It was not bad for that price. My favorite was their sunomono salad. I was told their gomae is a do not order item on the menu. B ordered his favorite spicy salmon roll, spicy miso, tuna tataki and spicy tuna. I had a piece of his spicy salmon roll. It was very delicious and flavorful. It wasn't spicy at all. It had a very nice sweet kick to the spicy sauce. I tried a piece of his tuna tataki and it was ok. I also tried the red bean tayaki. I really liked that outer skin crunch. Super yummy. Note that the wasabi here are extra spicy. It was super strong. Everything I had were really fresh. Their tea was very interesting. It was peach green tea. Too bad they are no longer in Kelowna. It was somewhat a far drive for us. Wish they were closer. Good thing is that they do have lots of parking outfront. We will be back for sure. read more

We decided to stop in because the we read a couple reviews that said this was the best sushi in the Kelowna area. We were seated quickly and the server was over immediately. We went with a couple tako sunomono's, toro sashimi, crispy crispy roll, a deep fried California roll and the snow dragon roll. The food started arriving very quickly and looked great. The toro was very tasty. The rolls were good although they tasted a little similar. The sunomono was good as well. Very pleasant staff and pretty good sushi. read more

Mediocre sushi with terrible service. We knew there were red-flags when we asked several folks in the plaza where they'd recommend for food and no one said this place. Despite that, we wanted to give them a chance and we shouldn't have. Two of us spent $100 here. We were enjoying conversation and finishing our drinks when the server brought over the cheque without us asking for it and the machine as well. Next, they came back 5 minutes later and said that there's an hour seating limit and we've been longer. They don't have any signs anywhere nor did anyone tell us this and my girlfriend still had half a glass of wine. There were many other tables open and no one waiting. We were seated quickly and had waters served promptly. My partner got her meal and my starter miso soup quickly but then for my meal after 20 minutes I asked the server. Her answer was that the one chef was on their lunch break so it would be delayed. I've never heard that in my life in a restaurant for why my meal is delayed. It was disappointing as the start was really good. Won't come back due to this unfortunately. After 30 minutes my meal arrived and now they said my order got lost in the back. In town for business and found the restaurant on google. Dinner was very good, the sushi rolls were well made and had a good balance of fish veggies rice and sauce. Holy crap! This place was amazing! We ordered takeout right after they opened today and right when I needed to be there to pick it up I realized I forgot to order a couple things. Called back and they said no problem just be an extra five minutes. Drove there (one minute drive) and it was already all ready. The sushi itself was super fresh and delicious. The crispy crispy roll and the Okanagan roll were both amazing standouts. But there wasn't a bad bite. Prices are reasonable as well. Highly recommend!!!! read more

I placed a takeout order today and informed the server I was unable to wear a mask for medical reasons and ask if they could deliver it to me outside the restaurant when I arrived I called and told them I was there and would be paying $20. cash ( so they could make my chaMeg and avoid coming out twice) the server came out with my order. ( without change) and informed me that I would have to find another place to get my sushi as they wouldn't accommodate me again SUPER bad practice for a restaurant trying to stay in business during COVID there loss not mine!!!! read more

We've eaten here a few times in the past and food and service is good. Last night ordered takeout and again food was just fine. I have one small complaint though. They have a "10" piece vegetable tempura dish. 2 single green beans count as 2 of the 10 pieces and 2 tiny heads of broccoli the size of my thumb counted as 2 more of the 10. Perhaps calling it a 7 piece vegetable dish would be more accurate or a 6 piece dish garnished with 2 green beans and 2 cute little flowerets of broccoli. read more
