On the phone they told me to go to the concession or to these two trailers in the parking lot. There was no one by the trailer so we go to the concession and the guy seemed kinda off put by the fact that we were there and didn't seem to of known we were coming. He opens up the trailer and fishes out two beach cruisers and we had to tell him we paid for three and he then proceeded to tell us that he didn't have another one but he had a mountain bike. We were like okay? He pulls out this rusty mountain bike that looked like it was on its last leg and that's when we just had to say we needed a refund because that is not what we paid for. They told us to text the number we had called them on a picture of our confirmation and that we were requesting a refund. Hopefully we will get our money back. Do not recommend. Maybe if they had bikes that actually worked and also something so simple as a sign letting you know where to go that advertised their services they would make some more money.

The Westchase Moms Club had a Mom's Day Out activity and I jumped on the chance to go. I had heard it was super popular last year, but for some reason, maybe the date, only four of us signed up this year. This just means we got a semi private lesson. Parking is super easy. There was tons of spot open close to where we started, which I love. I'm pretty sure our instructor was Jim, but I'm sorry if that wasn't it! He was fantastic. We got a lesson first before getting on the boards. I had been paddleboarding once before, but it was just a rent and go, so I had no lesson. I learned so much about turning, correct paddling, etc. Jim then took us on a neat little tour. It consisted of some more narrow areas and open lake. There were some in our group that were not the greatest at paddling and ran into the bushes a lot, but Jim was great at keeping us all together. It's $25 for a tour (not including a lesson), which is super reasonable. That's usually the cost of just a board! I definitely want to come back.

Captain Andrew was awesome - he was so down to earth, fun, and witty. The weather was cloudy and we had bits of sunshine, but Captain Andrew made sure we had a great time nonetheless! We even saw a few dolphins along the way and the gulf was beautiful. He takes you to an area where you will be safe from other boaters to freely paddle. Oh AND he takes great photos and will send you a link to have easy access to your fun memories. This location is inside The Hyatt - lots of parking available and you will not be ticketed or towed - just need to check with front desk about where to park. We were going to go do SUP, but the waves were too choppy - even got caught up in an afternoon shower. We went with a single kayak per person - reserved for a couple hours. The process was so easy - just showed up with our Groupon or if they're not running one - you can easily book a reservation online at one of their many locations & pay ahead. The service was good - we chose our kayaks and she dragged them to the water and launched us after we got in. There are mangroves nearby if you're looking for a quiet spot, but it's not a lot of shade at all - mostly open water. Thankfully, we had a lot of cloud covers or else it'd be incredibly hot outside.
