I'm writing this as a warning to anyone considering GOL Vector. A salesman named Quentin Jackson came to my home under the pretense of a "routine check-up," which I later learned was not true. It was his first day, he was extremely nervous, and he had to call his manager on speakerphone to talk through every step. He originally quoted me around $75+/month, and I told him I wasn't interested. He then claimed he could "help me out" by giving me a five-year contract rate of $50/month, and assured me multiple times that there was no commitment and that I could cancel anytime if life changed. I verbally agreed based on those terms. When it came time to sign, he explained the e-sign document as simply acknowledging that I already had their equipment -- not that I was locking into a five-year contract. I trusted what he said and didn't realize I was signing a long-term agreement. That is on me for trusting him, but it does not excuse deceptive sales tactics. Later, when I contacted their cancellations department, I spoke with Emily, who informed me I had no option to cancel whatsoever. She said my only choices were: 1. Pay off the full five-year contract 2. Move it with me (I don't need it where I'm moving) 3. Force the next tenant to take over the system She also said the owner, Brian Vaness, would "hold me to the contract no matter what" and would not allow exceptions. As a disabled Marine Corps veteran, a husband, and a new father trying to cut unnecessary expenses after my wife just gave birth four weeks ago, this whole experience has been stressful and disappointing. I'm trying to downsize and save money, not get trapped in something I was told was flexible. This was deceptive, misleading, and absolutely not how you treat customers -- or anyone. There are plenty of honest alternatives like Ring, Vivint, or other companies that are transparent about their pricing and don't send salesmen into no-soliciting neighborhoods pretending to be technicians. We needed our security doorbell serviced and we're extremely pleased with the service we received from GOL Security/Vector. Our technician, Mason, was awesome. He went above and beyond our expectations while remaining professional at all times. He was very helpful in explaining our situation as well as a multitude of other questions we asked! read more

GOL Security is FRAUD, FRAUD AND MORE FRAUD!!! BUYER BEWARE I called Vector because they came highly recommeded as a security company, apparently they have authorized dealers that they subcontract to (GOL). I was contacted by GOL Security (alphonzo freeman, the salesman) to go over the services, set up contract etc. We go over the contract with Alphonzo over the phone, give him the address, etc for him to put on the contract and send to us. Alphonzo sends us the contract for us to review, before we can review and accept the contract these bozo's have charged our credit card. How do you charge a client for a services you have not rendered? you have not installed equipment and you dont have a signed contract? So I will repeat FRAUD, FRAUD AND MORE FRAUD!! I recently came by this business to do something on my phone. I was stopping by to ask Dyess Air about services but wasn't sure what time they opened but figured 9 (Was about 3 minutes away) is when they opened. The blonde woman who drives a black vehicle approached me to a distance and asked what I was doing. I kindly told her I was doing something on my phone. She told me I needed to leave right now and that the property had nothing that I needed (Which is where Dyess Air came into play but I didn't mention it.) I kind said ok and left to avoid any conflict. I believe she was a skinny blonde woman. I find this attitude to be extremely ill mannered. I will make sure to let anyone who needs Security services to stay away from this company because of her nasty attitude. I was doing nothing wrong and minding my own business when she caught an attitude. I only stepped on foot on the property next to Dyess but other than that was in the grass.
