I, too, fell their unscrupulous business practices. They have zero moral ethic and only care about ripping off their customers to fatten their own pockets. They have friendly-sounding phone personnel who field the initial incoming calls. They are quick to schedule appointments, but only disclose the $99 "drive fee" once the appointment has been logged in their system. Upon inquiring about this fee, they confirm that the fee will be applied toward any repair service. I needed to have an outdoor faucet replaced because it was leaking. Upon arrival of the plumber, he told me that he needed to address the issue from inside the house. After he inspected what he needed to do, he presented me with a quote of $541 for the work. This was more than double what I was quoted by my regular plumber! The reason I went with RS was because the quote from my go-to plumber seemed high, so I called RS to comparison shop. I thought the $99 would easily cover for the faucet replacement, so I went with RS. However, after having been presented with the $541, I asked why the cost was so high. The plumber explained it's higher because he would have to cut into drywall. I told him that I would cut a hole into the wall if he showed me exactly where he needed the hole. He took the drywall cutout portion off of the overall estimate and the work would still cost me $371. Needless to say, I needed to have the leaky faucet issue addressed and didn't want to lose out on the $99 investment, so I had him proceed with the work. The work was done well, but I'm still bitter about how they "bait and switch" with their $99 drive fee. They lure potential customers with a lower fee, only to present them with exorbitant service costs, in my case, the cost went from $99 to $371. That makes me wonder how much revenue they generate from potential customers refusing the outrageously priced "actual" cost of the service and let RS charge them the $99 fee for them to just "show up". I recommend you call your local plumber and steer clear of RS. I will never use them ever again and will recommend that my friends, family, and neighbors take heed. Hopefully this review will help others from getting conned. PS: The plumber who performed the work did a good job. My complaint is about the 2x cost and the "bait and switch" tactics the company employs. read more

I had some leaking in my kitchen and bathroom sinks. The pipes in the kitchen need tightening, and the faucet required replacement. Mike arrived at the start of the block of time I was expecting him, completed the service in a friendly and professional manner, and cleaned everything up before leaving. Don't hire this company for three reasons. 1. Plumber came Saturday to unclog drain. Came back Monday to finish and told us we had a leak under our sink from our R/O water system. Wasn't there Saturday. Would not take responsibility for the leak. 2. Called office on Tuesday and asked for a courtesy visit to re-evaluate the R/O leak. Plumber asked if I wanted him to fix the leak. Said yes. He charged me $718, not showing me the invoice. ($275 per hour for plumber, plus a $119 non-member fee). Thought I was signing confirmation of work completed). 3. Called the manager that afternoon to complain. He said he would call me back after he talked with the plumber. Never called back. On Sunday Morning, with the temp today to actually be 100, our air went out. I called at 8:00am, the tech called us back immediately! Came out and fixed it by 10:30 and the air is perfect. Nicolas and Cutter were great! We had never used RS Andrews before, but definitely will be our go to people. They replaced our broken water heater with a brand new one, same day we had called for service. There two men were polite, friendly and trustworthy. Our bill was fair and reasonable. I needed a valve that controls the water to my refrigerator ice maker. Its the water valve in the wall, behind everyone's refrigerator. Besides the $119 to come out they wanted $495 for the valve. The labor, he said, would be 1/2 hour. The whole wall part is $32 at Home Depot. read more

Our water heater stopped working and Nicholas and his trainee, Nathan, came within a couple of hours. Nicholas determined that it was an electrical issue, not the heater. They didn't even charge us! The electrician who we called, agreed with Nicholas. They were very nice young men. read more

Called R S Andrew's this morning because water was coming in house. Withing 3 hrs they where here fixing the problem. Sewer line was yard debris and dirt in it. The guys where very professional and had fixed the problem within 10 minutes. They checked a couple of the lines in the house and determined what the problem was. Highly recommend them. Do not hire this company! I had an appointment set and they canceled on me at the very last second when I needed a plumber!

DO NOT DO IT! Had a Moen shower cartridge issue. Called and scheduled appointment. Was told by call taker that the fee to come out was 119 and it would be waived - if I decided to use the company and approved the quote. Well, he saw the shower, said "yes it's a cartridge let me go write up an invoice" Came back in the house and said "it will be $600" the $119 was included on the estimate and he had no idea the operator told me it was to be deducted from cost of the job he huffed and puffed and said "fine, if that's what she said, I'll take it off" I was Stunned.... I said Well, I cannot afford that. He then said "I can go 400" Which was shocking to me because this isn't a small company. If the service is per job and not per hour, how are you able to drop the price? He seemed aggravated, I felt so uncomfortable at that point I said no thank you. He left, I called the office and explained what happened, she told me she didn't know what parts he may have had on his truck that day. Shocked, I asked to have the manager call me. Let me explain, I watched a few videos on how to replace the cartridge. Went to Lowes, spent 60 bucks on all the parts I needed and did it myself. It wasn't easy, but I did it. I thought this was a big company and well known to have good reviews. Maybe a few bad apples can spoil the entire tree. I would still like to have a manager reach out to me. My hair catches on fire every time I see their commercial on TV. We didn't smile when we had damage from water because the pan they installed with our new air conditioner wasn't large enough. They refused to pay for the repair of the damage to the ceilings. This happened several years ago, and every time someone asks me for a recommendation for AC, I tell them never to use RS Andrews. I can't get a call back after having trouble with my unit. They appear to be nice and cooperative but when you ask for a phone call to review your options after receiving their estimate they ghost you. Said would call me Friday pm when I called that morning. We had a plumbing emergency while hosting a house full of guests. Bonnie was responsive and very friendly and was able to dispatch help within an hour after my call. They were my fourth attempt to find same day service. Trey and Jason showed up and immediately fixed a sewage back up that could have been a complete disgusting disaster had they not intervened. I had a new air conditioning unit installed last year. That process went smooth enough as it was June and I didn't care who installed it at that point. Either there is a faulty sensor or something isn't hooked correctly for the two zones in my house because it hasn't heated or cooled properly since. During the recent freeze in the area, our unit kept running upstairs since it didn't think it was warm enough (it was 92 degrees upstairs when I got home). It's been a headache getting service scheduled. Finally got it scheduled and nobody showed up. I called and they said all I was scheduled for was maintenance this afternoon and not the initial service call I made to begin with. Basically not my problem is the way their customer service made it out to be. If you're looking for good service, look elsewhere. I'm sure I'm under some kind of warranty still but I may as well pay someone else to come out and fix the issue since this company is unreliable. read more

I called RSA Andrews because I looked up plumbers and it looked like they had a good amount of experience. I needed help and an opinion locating my main water feed into my house. 0ne of their techs came within the hour he looked at the situation walked around the house quickly tried to pinpoint where the pipe might come into the house. He told me he would be back the next day charged me 99.00 dollars and left. He came back the next day we dug and looked for the pipe he kept stopping and kept calling someone he thought could help but we still couldn't find the pipe. He told me he would be back and we would definitely find the pipe. He never called ,never showed up just forgot me. If this is the way they run their business be very leery to use this company ,you pay them for a service call wanting to use they to solve your problem and they take your money and RUN. read more

Terrible. I called this company for a shower system installation. The guy showed up for the first appointment and said he did not have time to do it. He said to make another appointment for the next week. I did. They called and canceled this 2nd appointment and I agreed to reschedule. A day later, they called and canceled again. At this point I called back, getting a voicemail and left a message that I would not be rescheduling. They continued to call multiple times about a reschedule. I assume they didn't check their messages. I called a second time and said I would not be rescheduling, as this was the 2nd time in a 3 or 4 days they'd canceled on me. I made it very clear that I would not reschedule. Later same day a tech showed up and I sent him away. There was no point in this bizarre scenario in which I had further discussion OR authorized this action. They had two prior chances to do the work and did not and then showed up after I said no.
