Barely felt cool and we heard water dripping in the butcher area... I'm glad we didn't need any meat from here, I'll say that. Prices are STEEEEEP here! I imagine it's because it's pretty far away from the next major town, but I was shocked at how much more expensive things were here than back home (less than two hours away). Upside - service was kind. Our cashier was friendly and she got us out quickly. Overall, we found everything that we came for (albeit at a price hike), and for that we are thankful.

Lake Wenatchee State Park is about a mile away providing breathtaking views and relaxing beach. The cabin is a one bed one bath with a full kitchen stocked with the kitchen supplies we needed to cook meals and clean up. A Keurig coffee maker and pods are provided making it perfect to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the front porch watching the sunrise through the trees. If wanting to venture out, the town of Leavenworth is only about a 25 minute drive taking you along the Wenatchee River. Leavenworth is a cute Bavarian themed town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and plenty of outdoor adventures.

I went in for milk and bread, and as I was entering the store they had an end cap of Valentines candy 50% off. I grabbed 2 bags of kit kats and a box of Welchs valentines fruit snacks that were also located on the discount rack. I went to check out and the price she told me was more than I added in my head. I then asked her if she gave me 50% off the valentines candy? She said no the welchs wasn't on sale and asked rudely where I got it? I told her they were on the same rack as all the candy and that there was a bunch of valentines Welch's over on the end cap discounted. She then said I'll take 3.50 off very rudely like I'm trying to steal these fruit snacks. I was walking out returning my cart inside the store and she followed me and then again asked me where I got those Welch's fruit snacks? I pointed to the end cap and she basically was calling me a liar. I did call the manager and he wasn't at all surprised with her behavior. I ended up looking at the receipt and she charged me full price for the Welch's fruit snacks. I guess you win some and lose some. I will never ever go back to this store again.
