This is an amazing little grocery store. It's a big part of Lake Stevens, it's been here over 20 years, the staff are amazing! I've had nothing but good from the employees, they get to know you easily and they are very family oriented. Last week I bought some food from there and this amazing girl helped me find everything I needed, and even asked what I was making for dinner :) very considerate. The managers are very friendly and always say hello. It's a great part of LS. And the fact that when I go in everyone's wearing masks! I know people have their views but I'm grateful I feel safe to go to such a great store. Thanks to the Owners and the staff of this great store!! read more

Only coming here because of what just witnessed and and from my experience I'm pretty sure isn't exactly legal. On 10/16/19 at around 7:26pm and possibly a few minutes after that, I was waiting in line (just a lil too long for my drink as the service was slow and store pretty much empty). The woman in front of me was purchasing smokes and a bottle of vodka, she swiped her card and the cashier was so out of it and running around that she said "have a good night to the woman" not even realizing that she didn't sign for her credit card (finish the transaction) and had walked out of the store and was gone. With my own eyes I watched a different store employee walk up and sign for the woman like nothing happened. I honestly wasn't sure if you could legally do that, but maybe check your cameras and employees read more

I really appreciate that they give back to the community. It's a convenient location with a fairly decent selection given its size. Definitely more expensive than Haggen and they don't have all the specialty stuff. It does have the "Ma and Pop" feel of a community store though and their community participation is great. read more

Jays market is a really nice local owned convenience store. Yeah some items can be a bit pricey, but how can a little convenience store compete with nation wide franchise stores? The produce stands out and is very good, and well priced! Some produce is actually cheaper than Safeway! They have a a good beer, wine, and drink selection. They are a really convenient place for residents in Lake stevens especially on the east side of the lake. I've noticed they're starting to carry more organic produce which is always a plus. Jay's market has also supported the sports teams here year after year. Good place :) read more

Jay's is very convenient for those of us that live close to town/ East side of the lake area. They have a great wine selection and the produce is fresh. I really enjoy the feel of a neighborhood grocery store vs. chain supermarkets. The staff are so friendly and authentic. It doesn't feel like the customer service is forced but rather genuine. I frequent this business weekly. They also offer a great variety of Lake Stevens clothing/ LSHS clothing. Whether I need a last minute greeting card, some bread and milk, scotch tape, we even zipped in on Easter morning when Jay's opened in the morning to grab baskets for the kids one year because we had forgotten. Sure enough they had a few baskets left. It seems like they always have what I need, even in a pinch. I appreciate this business very much.
