I specifically booked this place for a jetted tub so was disappointed and on top of that the room was dirty. The hotel was able to move me to a room on the third floor. Very nice view and was a little cleaner than the first room. The room I first booked was a king bed with a "soaker" broke down jetted tub, room 501 which is also right next to the laundry room and on the bottom floor. Pictures show the gross marks and hair all over the lounger. My second room was 329 on the third floor with a king bed. The view was amazing and the location is steps away from the beach. The management needs to give more time to the cleaners and once a month they should lint roll the furniture and wipe off the marks. Also dusting is very much needed in the rooms. Overall the place is run down and not clean. Its pricey. I paid $178 for one night and thats with a BestWestern Diamond member discount. Lots of damage in rooms and not clean so be-aware if you have small kids. Also note that there are only wall heaters, they are very hot to the touch and do take time to heat the room. I did not see or use the ac since I visited in April. The only saving grace is the location and views on the third floor.

The course has a really nice layout with some fantastic views, and there were some very fun holes. I'd give the course itself a 4.5/5! The downside to playing here was the service. The lady working the front desk wasn't friendly and wasn't managing the tee times. There was a slight frost delay in the morning, so groups were going out late, but when our twosome went in at our scheduled time to see how much time we had until we teed off, we were told that they weren't basing it on tee times anymore, it was just first-come-first-serve and we should get in line for the tee. The playing experience was slow on the back too--we got stuck behind a sixsome, which the course definitely shouldn't let out. If this course got a starter and a marshall, it's rating would go up. And if the staff members were friendly, Bandon Crossings would have a chance at a 5-star rating.

We arrived at the venue the day before the wedding. We also had arrangements for two nights in the honeymoon suite. When we showed up, we were shown the main house that we were going to get married in. It apparently is being lived in by Patrick and his wife. Not a professional setting. But the view out back was amazing. Patrick then showed us to our " honeymoon suite". Except for it's classified more as a junior suite. No tv , room too small, and mystery door in the room as well, not to be used. That was creepy, Also in the bedroom, the queen size bed took up the whole room. There was only a little pathway to get to the bathroom, and to get to the other side of the bed. When we left that day, we decided that we had to cancel their so-called honeymoon suite because it was just too small for us. when I let Patrick know that evening that we wouldn't be staying the two nights because the suite was too small. He stated that he might have shown me the wrong room. And by that time my husband and I had already made reservations for a true honeymoon suite. The day finally arrives, we get to the venue three hours early we start to get ready. Everything seems to be OK. Now, at this point, I realize I haven't mentioned that our wedding is just my husband and myself and my maid of honor. So we did get a great price for all that. We really looked forward to having a intimate peaceful wedding. While I was getting ready with my maid of honor people that weren't invited to our wedding were coming up and talking to my fiancé at the time and he's nervous and he doesn't want to talk but these people are friends of Patrick's. It made my husband very uncomfortable. In the meantime, our photographer shows up and things seem to be smoothing out. My photographer was wonderful and we really enjoyed her. However, as I walked down the stairs to walk through the house and out, Patrick stops my photographer and tells her that she must move her vehicle. This was highly unprofessional, and did not need to be dealt with at that moment. Literally minutes before I was to walk down the aisle. So the car gets moved the photographer gets in position. I make my way past the kitchen and out the door. But as I'm walking, something doesn't look right to me, it was the position of Patrick and my fiancé. Patrick was standing in the wrong place. He stood to Todd's left. You can see when you look at the pictures what I'm talking about. Then we get to the part where Patrick officiates this wedding. I thought this was something he had done before. It clearly was not. he did not read from the book. He did not have it memorized. He had everything out of order. He had asked if anyone had any reason why we should not get married halfway into the ceremony. I had to tell him twice that we hadn't exchanged the rings. I wish I could share the video, but that's a little more personal that I'd like to do at this point. I think I can get my point across with my words in my pictures. They also said they would provide a cake which I found out two days prior because I asked, that, they decided they weren't going to do a cake for us. Thank heavens for Fred Meyers! They saved the day. Patrick also had another couple in the duplex " honeymoon suite" behind the main house. They seem to be more of a priority to Patrick than we were.

I really wanted to like this place because it's the one fairly fancy place in town...but, it was a disappointing experience. We got to the restaurant for our 10am reservation but the door didn't open until exactly 10. People huddled under the porch because it was raining fairly hard. We were shown inside, then back outside to another room to our table. We ordered and they said the buffet was in the tent-outside. So, coat & rain hood back on to go to the buffet. Unfortunately, the buffet wasn't ready so we went back to our seats. The buffet wasn't ready for around 20 minutes-because some of the kitchen crew called in sick so they were operating with less help. The remaining crew was working hard to get it set up. So they were doing a good job-they just needed more help. The buffet had: Eggs, Potatoes, Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy, Jalapeño Cheddar Bagels, Smoked Salmon, Salad, Dressing, Potato Dill Soup, an Omelet bar and Prime Rib. Unfortunately, most of the food we got wasn't warm. I think the top of the chafing dishes were able to cool off, even though, the bottom was hot. Didn't know that until going back in. Thats a dangerous situation where bacteria can grow. The bread was excellent. It was a chewy Italian bread. The butter balls were firm so hard to spread. There were bagels and smoked salmon but it would have been nice to have something other than just jalapeño cheddar bagels for the smoked salmon. Maybe, get something more neutral in flavor that more people would eat. I think I have fairly normal tastes and love biscuits & gravy but the biscuits and gravy had an odd flavor to me. I wasn't a fan but that may be a preference. The prime rib was ok but not terribly tasty. The Potato dill soup was just ok, too. The omelet bar probably was the safe choice since you pick your ingredients but I make those often at home so I wanted to try other things. I think they are trying to be fancy instead of just making good food that everybody would like. Service was good. We did have to wait for coffee but overall they were nice and did a good job letting people know when the buffet was ready. Overall: Ambiance is 5/5; Service 4/5, Food-the temperature, late food and having to walk in the rain to the tent and back with a plate of food while getting rained on drops the overall score to 3/5. Opening that heavy door with a plate of food is a problem, too. Maybe have the tent right outside the entrance to the main dining room so your customers and their full plates don't have to be out in the rain. There has to be a better way.
