Our foursome had a great time golfing at Bandon Crossings. Friendly, helpful staff & an interesting & challenging course.

For as much hype as the Bandon Dunes Resort courses get, this place is a hidden gem. Course is in great shape and the greens are rolling smooth, and it's February. The course has a really nice layout with some fantastic views, and there were some very fun holes. I'd give the course itself a 4.5/5! The downside to playing here was the service. The lady working the front desk wasn't friendly and wasn't managing the tee times. There was a slight frost delay in the morning, so groups were going out late, but when our twosome went in at our scheduled time to see how much time we had until we teed off, we were told that they weren't basing it on tee times anymore, it was just first-come-first-serve and we should get in line for the tee. The playing experience was slow on the back too--we got stuck behind a sixsome, which the course definitely shouldn't let out. If this course got a starter and a marshall, it's rating would go up. And if the staff members were friendly, Bandon Crossings would have a chance at a 5-star rating. read more

We LOVED this course and even made time to go back and play it a second time before we left town. The course was challenging and fun but well maintained. They stock the golf carts with towels and tees and make sure you understand the layout of the course before heading out. Not to mention a BEAUTIFUL course!!! We will definitely be back just to play this any time we head down the coast!! read more

We had a blast golfing here! It was so nice to chat with the friendly owner. Thank you for having an affordable alternative to golfing those other courses. It was beautiful and challenging. You should sell t-shirt that say "Crows Steal Food". Lol! The carts were great and I may have lost a few balls but we loved every minute! read more

Incredible tract! Haven't played Bsndon Dunes but why would I as this course is 1/5th the price! Multi round specials, great, reasonably priced snack bar shared by 6 and 14. Staff is extremely friendly. Course is challenging yet fair with very nice, large greens, manicured fairways and well maintained traps. I look forward to playing this course every time I am in or near Bandon. read more

Update for Bandon Crossings. I just received info that there is a seasonal snack shack, and if you want the clubhouse to get you some food, they have no problem doing that. We just happen to go each year in December and I can understand why there is no food cart, or snack shack open at that time. Thanks again Bandon Crossings for a great place to play. read more

My husband and I took a road trip to Northern Oregon coast, and did the coastal route all the way to So Cal. Have always wanted to golf at Bandon. We found ourselves at Bandon Crossings. So gorgeous. Great course, well maintained, challenging. Didn't get the name of the guy who we checked in with, but he was very helpful and nice. I would very much like to golf here again! read more

A great golf course, reasonable rates, gracious helpful pro and, soon, a new club house. Don't miss this one.

Played for the first time yesterday. Liked it so much I'm abandoning my plans and playing again today. Course is in fantastic shape even at the end of a long dry summer. Greens roll true and are very well kept. Plus it's much less expensive than the other Bandon courses. read more

A very good course with some interesting holes. The course layout can be abit confusing, but it has plenty of signage so it's not really a problem. We really enjoyed playing here, but the lack of yardage markers and the numerous blind shots makes it a little tough on first time players. Even with those issues, we will definitely play it again the next time we are in the area. read more

Nice course close to my vacation home and only 2 miles from where I was raised. The course is fairly narrow and so it is easy to lose balls just off of the fairway as the grass is a good foot deep. I enjoyed just being able to walk on the course each time as this never happens in the Bay Area! read more

This is my third trip to Bandon with the first two purely to play the famed courses at Bandon Dunes. This trip was a family trip, however, so I had no plans to play golf. But I always bring my clubs and I happened to have some free time so I called in to get a tee time. First, the staff is as friendly as can be. They told me about their openings that day, including a "super twilight" rate around 5 p.m. -- play as much as you can for $20, walking only. I chose that and walked 18 in about 2:40. There were others on the course but I never caught up to anyone nor did anyone catch me so I was able to enjoy a nice round of golf. The course itself is stunning. It was equal parts fun and challenging. The first five or six holes are pretty open but the next nine are cut out of the trees. The final three holes are simply great golf holes -- a risk/reward driveable par-4, a tough par-3 with a wide three-tiered green and a stunning par-5 for No. 18. This is a very good golf course. If you've ever play Dark Horse GC in Auburn, Calif., this course is reminiscent of that. If you are expecting it to be like the other more famous courses in Bandon...don't. you won't see the Pacific Ocean from anywhere on the course, though you will feel the breeze! This course is strong on its own merits and I will definitely play again. It is walkable for fit golfers. I like to walk when I can but this one does have some hikes so if you have any trouble with elevation changes or if you at all struggle walking the other courses in town, then you shouldn't walk Bandon Crossings. In short -- if you come to Bandon to play golf, you are short-changing yourself if you don't add this more-affordable and solid track to your itinerary. read more
