Denis of Dixie Movers did a painless FaceTime call with us to provide a quote. We also had a spread sheet with our items being moved that was used to provide an accurate & fair quote. When we had questions leading up to moving day, their administrator Brana was quick and kind with her responses. On the day of moving us out Denis stayed in touch about their arrival time. Thankfully traffic helped us out (although I know it must have been difficult for Denis and his colleague Marat). We thought we were so ready to move and found out the morning of that I had missed several kitchen drawers and cabinets during a recent illness. Denis was so kind and patient, providing us with extra boxes and wrapping paper to keep our valuables safe during transit. He and Marat took such great care of every piece of furniture, every moving box and bag, and when he adjusted the invoice with all of our last minute add-ons he was very fair. Rasin came in and immediately put me at ease - offering his expert advice but ultimately making sure I got what I wanted. We exchanged renderings and notes for one day and that was the extent of the design process. Installation was quick and simple and it was exactly what I wanted! Keep in mind I did have to have an electrician involved to get the lights, tv and integrated fireplace all installed but he was very clear about that up front. I would absolutely recommend Rasin and plan to use him again in the near future!

He responded to my quote request quickly, was easy to communicate with and his rates are more than fair. My front door was repaired as much as possible for now and Michael did a wonderful job. Actually, he went above and beyond to make it work. When the job was completed, I was sent a receipt via text in addition to a well thought out text explaining what he did, pricing etc. I am happy I found Michael on Yelp. I highly recommend giving Michael a shot. I found him to be reliable, honest and helpful. What more can you ask for?

I hired Wendy to oversee redecorating my 1 bedroom condo over the Summer of 2024. It included…read morepaint selection, window treatments carpet, wall unit built in and new furniture . when I arrived in the Fall to supposedly my finished apt I found a disaster. $8000 carpet that was ruined by her installer. $11,000 in window treatments that didn't operate and the apartment which was supposed to be painted completely ---unfinished and a very unprofessional job. These were all contractor's engaged by Wendy that she was responsible for overseeing. But the worst was the $15,000 wall unit that was built in my bedroom where I stressed the importance of my desk area. There was not a single outlet available on that wall to plug in anything so they had to chop up the wall unit so that I could plug in my computer. Wendy was nowhere to be found. While she responded to my emails and texts, she never came back over to the apartment once I arrived to assist in getting any of this resolved. In addition, she attempted to bill me for hours spent looking at furniture before consulting with me. Her "design product" consisted of a bunch of screenshots from Perigold. I immediately fired her and took over the work-- i don't believe Wendy is professionally trained at any level Certainly her care about her clients is lacking. Felt like she would just get away with whatever she could.
