Mark was suppose to come this afternoon, but due to weather he called and asked to come early (mine was an indoor job, and it was raining, so his other job had to wait). That was more than agreeable with me. Mark and his helper showed up on time, they were friendly and respectful. They got right to their work. The job was a bit more complex than either he or I had expected and took a bit longer, but he powered through. When it came time to settle up, I was anticipating him saying the job was bigger and the price had gone up, but he is an honest man, and quoted the agreed upon price. That is rare today. The work is done, it looks great. I would highly recommend Mark and The Whole 9 Handyman Services.

Their team is reliable, honest, and so responsive that I felt like I was some sort of VIP. From the start I found their quotes to be reasonable, and it was clear that the attention to detail they gave set them above the rest. They have painted my house, done work on my patio, have painted many friends of mine homes. Never once have I heard anybody give them anything but praise because they do live up to the standards we all expect. When they say you're home is your temple, they certainly treat it like that.

Added recessed lighting, new fan and new lights with dimmers. They have an in house electrician and a large crew of drywall specialists. So there's no waiting for someone to come finish the job in stages. My house was vacant during all of this and yes, the popcorn removal is a big messy job. But when they were finished, OMG you'd never know they were here. The ceiling looks amazing. Demi took about a week and is also perfect. Electrician moved the light switch and the vanity light spot. I cant say enough about Jack Doucette, the owner. He really cares about you. He even gets his hands dirty. My neighbors saw them at my house and hired them too. Just do it! These are clean, organized and communicative professionals. My project was small but complicated. We have an odd counter top extension that sort of hung out at a weird angle, we did not use and took up an entire room of the house (it is a small house). It was becoming a place for accumulating junk. This project required that they cut off a section of granite countertop and detach the extension from the floor. Then they trimmed the granite to a new length it so that they could reposition it with a CLEAN SEAM. It looks great and now I have more usable counter top space for cooking, the kids have a counter to sit at for breakfast and we have an extra room in the house. These were all contractor's engaged by Wendy that she was responsible for overseeing. But the worst was the $15,000 wall unit that was built in my bedroom where I stressed the importance of my desk area. There was not a single outlet available on that wall to plug in anything so they had to chop up the wall unit so that I could plug in my computer. Wendy was nowhere to be found. While she responded to my emails and texts, she never came back over to the apartment once I arrived to assist in getting any of this resolved. In addition, she attempted to bill me for hours spent looking at furniture before consulting with me. Her "design product" consisted of a bunch of screenshots from Perigold. I immediately fired her and took over the work-- i don't believe Wendy is professionally trained at any level Certainly her care about her clients is lacking. Felt like she would just get away with whatever she could.

A few months ago, I hired them to paint most of the interior of my in-laws' new house including ceilings, walls, and baseboards. The ceilings and walls were previously dark colors and my in-laws wanted a lighter color as shown in the photos. FLS did excellent work. They do very meticulous prep to cover items that should not be painted. This is so important because a lot of painters do sloppy prep and then you end up having paint on places you don't want it to be. During the painting inspection on both our house and my in-laws' house, I could not find any issues for FLS to fix (and I am a very picky person). I went through the house in the day with a flashlight to find any imperfections and I did not find anything. They did a fabulous job. The owner is a pleasure to work with I also like that they have an admin person who you can email and call and who responds quickly. They are also VERY competitively priced. For my home, I got 4 estimates and FLS gave me the best price. For my in-laws' house, I got two estimates and they were hundreds less than the competitor. FLS is the best contractor that I've worked with in Florida! I will not call anyone else for any of my future painting needs.
