Not only did Dr. Elisa provide a most thorough examination, but she did so in the most congenial and friendly of ways, keeping me informed of the purpose and results of her thorough exam every bit along the way. Additionally, in doing some preliminary research prior to my first visit, I discovered that Dr Elisa and I had something very important in common......we are both graduates of Fordham University, having had one year overlap in common. My visit to East Norwich Optics was one of the best experiences I have ever had as it regards the examination of my eyes and shopping for eyeglasses. Unlike many other optometrists and eye doctors , I was given an immediate appointment when I first called. I was quite shocked to find out that when I initially called for my appointment , Dr. Elisa, herself answered the phone and arranged for my appointment the following day. Upon arriving I was immediately greeted with smiles and a most friendly Dr. Elisa , that also included members of her family who were assisting her in this genuine "family run" business. Dr. Elisa did not rush me in the least , either in her examination or in assisting me to select a frame for my eyeglasses. By the way, the selection of frames at East Norwich Optics is simply phenomenal including a full line of traditional and contemporary choices.......I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Elisa and East Norwich Optics.....I can't wait to go back to pick up my glasses.....GO RAMS ! ! !

At other eyeglass places I have felt that 90% of the inventory is either ugly or boring, but here I liked almost everything I saw even if it didn't work on my particular face. The prescription was filled quickly and I got my glasses in about 2 days.

I shouldn't have waited this long to write a review but now that I've been taken care of by a…read moredifferent doctor that cared more about me than making money, I felt I needed to warn anyone thinking about using Dr. Jaggi. I went there several months ago because my husband had gone there for his contacts. He wasn't thrilled but I thought I would give it a try as well. I was immediately turned off by Dr. Jaggi's wife (who works there) who had asked me to pay before I even saw the doctor. How do you ask someone to pay when you don't even know what they need done? She must have sensed I thought that was weird and agreed to wait until I saw the doctor. My exam was fine. He said I needed certain tests and I agreed. Little did I know. When the exam was over, he said that I needed progressive glasses for daily tasks and different glasses for driving. He said what I needed was not covered under my insurance. I went there in the first place because he accepted my insurance. When I asked if I could try contacts for the first time instead of glasses, he said "No, not yet". Also, there is an additional fee for him to teach you how to put the contacts in which he will not waive! So, I need 2 different glasses and he won't apply my insurance and won't give me contacts for a reason he never explained. While picking out glasses, they don't let you touch them. You have to point and they will bring them to you. I finally picked and the price was over $2,000! I almost passed out. He said I could pay half then and the rest when the glasses came in. I told him I only wanted one pair and he asked me to choose. The task glasses or the driving glasses? I chose the task which came to over $800. I'm not a wealthy woman. To own an $800 pair of glasses is insane for me but he convinced me I would see better. So the glasses come in and they are horrible. He told me I needed to get used to them so I tried them out for a week. Couldn't see my computer at work, couldn't read properly. I went back and he said that they can only redo the glasses one more time without being charged. Did I want to correct these or get the other glasses instead. He convinced me that these needed to be cut again as they weren't lining up with my eyes and I trusted him. Like an idiot. New glasses came in and they were no better. So now what I asked? There was nothing he could do. He wouldn't change them out for my regular prescription without charging me again, so these $800 glasses sat in my drawer for months. Finally, I find a Davis Vision near me that I told this to and they were horrified. They took the frames that I purchased from Jaggi and replaced the lenses with the correct prescription. They also fitted me for contacts, didn't charge me for the hour they spent teaching me how to put them in and care for them and took my complete insurance. I left there with a new pair of lenses and a years worth of contacts for $88 dollars!!!!! $88 dollars!!!!!! They cared about my eyes, not their wallets! What a difference. So if you have money to LITERALLY throw in the garbage, go see Dr. Jaggi. If you want to be seen and treated with respect and care, find a Davis Vision near you and be grateful you didn't walk into EyeSite in Sight. Oh, and Davis Vision gave me 100 days to make any changes at no cost! Dr Jaggi charged me $40 to use a credit card. Money hungry people. Beware!
