I absolutely loved doing my pre license class at Climer! I recently attended the two week course, and had Allen as a teacher. Allen was extremely smart and knew what he was talking about, but somehow made extremely dull content entertaining. He had us all laughing day after day! Although the course was super mentally draining, I left feeling like I was prepared to tackle the state exam. I did put in quite some time studying after the course, but I am happy to report that I passed the state exam on the first try! After my experience at the pre license class, I definitely plan on doing my continuing education at Climer. read more

Fantastic school to do your 63 pre-licensing course for your Real Estate Sales associate license. I took the two week 63 h course with Bill and thought he was superb. His teaching methods are practical and hilarious. He is a genuine guy with a ton of experience who cares about the people in the classroom. Climer school of real estate offers so many resources to help you learn and pass the state exam. I studied like crazy and was able to pass the state exam on the first try! Decide for your self. They offer "free" exam videos that you need to watch before taking the class test. There is information only supplied on the videos that is on the class text. You MUST enter your credit card on their site in order to watch the "free" videos. Then they start charging you $59 a month. Studying for the test is stressful enough. Then, if you forget to log back in to cancel; and in their own words see you did not use the service and still won't refund the charges. Anyone wanting to sincerely help you to learn and pass the Real Estate exam would not require a credit card to be entered to watch "free" videos. Then respond with intimidation and threats. Seems like this is a continuous problem. I'm coping and pasting their email threat after calling and explaining what happened and asking for a refund, after admitting they see the service was not used.... If you force us to sue you in small claims court, we want you to know that so far, we have won every single case like this one. We will also let the state attorney's office know of your attempt at credit card fraud. We will also let the Florida Real Estate Commission know of your fraudulent behavior. We don't want you owing us almost a thousand dollars because of your lie.  Please cancel both disputes immediately. Andy and Pam Andy Brown ....Your trying to get your new career started and they want to threaten you with the Florida Real Estate Commission? Is this a company you would want to do business with? In a text to me they said they already did this to 10 people! Okay, here is a REAL review (I'm saying REAL because they have bribed students for 5 star Google reviews) . I attended the 6 week pre-licensure course. Anyway, on the first day of class, Andy was there to greet us. At first I thought he was funny, but then I got the vibe that he was just trying to sell us things and convince us that his was a great school. I got the sense he was full of shit. I don't know.. I was over him after the first thirty minutes. He was with us for a whole two hours before he introduced us to our teacher. She was very straight to the point and informative. The course is strictly lecture, meaning you are responsible for what you do at home and what you absorb in class (You can miss up to three classes before you have to make them up, by the way). She went over the assigned homework at the beginning of the class, but she didn't grade our work or anything. I can understand that because we were all adults, but I was hoping for a more hands on approach from the teacher. The downside about the class is that often times, I felt more confused after I asked a question. Of course in real estate there is a lot of math, but she just seemed to confuse a lot of the students when she went over math problems. She couldn't even give me an equation regarding mortgage and what not. She told me "well if you knew of a mathematical equation you would've thought of one"..... Umm, okay???? At that point I kind of just gave up asking questions. And another thing that was extremely annoying to me was that it was allowed for students to bring entire dinners into class and eat them while lecture was going on. It was so hard to pay attention when people were grubbing during class! So, now that I finished the course, I have to say that it is what you make of it. I passed the course exam, but I know I have to do a ton of studying for the state exam. I kind of wish I took this class online so I would've skipped all the annoyances I dealt with. I usually take my classes online anyway, so maybe that's just me. But the teacher was very helpful, and there were a lot of resources available in the classroom. read more

Just got done taking the 63 hour intensive course over a one week period. It was exhausting to say the least. Andy was our instructor and I will say this class isn't for everyone. It is very fast paced and not necessarily an interactive course. As someone who's used to college courses, it was overwhelming to just learn the facts for the exam rather than truly understanding them. However, this class is designed to make you pass the state exam, not be an expert. Once I grasped that concept, it was easier for me to sit back and just be a sponge to absorb the word vomit. Andys got a different sense of humour, but humor nonetheless so he kept it as entertaining as it could be, which I appreciated. There were a lot of "selling" parts on our breaks with different brokers, public speakers, and lenders which weren't my thing, but it's all part of it and good knowledge regardless. At the end of the day, I passed my course exam and the state exam on the first try. That is the most important part of it all, which makes it all worth it and would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to pursue real estate. read more

I took Climer's Sales Associate Exam review course and was happy with the content, delivery, cost, and convenient time and location. He makes the boring concepts and vocabulary interesting with memorable vignettes or stories, and simplifies the math so that any dummy can get it. He also states quite clearly that he can do the explaining, but you have to do the 'studying.' You need the classes, his You Tube math videos, and your own effort to pass the exams. Nobody can help you more than yourself, but he does his job and you get more than what you pay for. He is clear, direct, informative, helpful, and efficient and you won't fall asleep. He's strict about time but there are ample breaks and a good lunch period. Just be serious. Dress comfortably, leave your cell phone in the car, pay attention, take good notes, buy the 'skinny' review book, complete all the practice exams at least twice......and you'll be in good shape. If you really pay attention, you can also learn how to market yourself. At every turn he is selling either future courses, CD's, tee shirts, or water. But....he is simultaneously sharing his calculators or pencils and giving away Ron Climer School of Real Estate magnets. He is an astute businessman wrapped in a Hawaiian shirt --a folksey, but serious example of how to make money doing what you like and do well. He's a pro! Oh by the way, if you're one of those 'real estate' wannabees who drive the fancy car and insist on top of the line office furniture and catered 'convention' luncheons, this isn't the environment for you. Took my 63 hour associate class here. And, i am now licensed! I highly advise buying the review guide which is thirty five bucks. If you take the Cram Class before the state exam its included, or, you can deduct it from class if pre purchased. Most ppl in my class that i connected with, did, take the cram course, which i did not. They all passed the exam! I just studied the study guide, which is i highly condensed version of the Class Book, with questions and answers, and practice tests. In preparing for the State Exam, i would concentrate on the few chapters in the book, that the teachers point out. (Contracts and Associate Client Relationships, and the types of fiduciary relationships) The State is not a Math test, although there are several calculation you will have to make! Don't waste all your time studying the Math. Spend your time studying the Dark Black Situational examples in the book. I took the state yesterday. Here are some hints. Statute 475, Civil Rights 1866, Respa, Isla, Military 7 days, 4 year degree exemptions, and College Exemptions, Post 45 education, Doc Stamps, Intangible tax, Deed stamps, 4365 sq feet in acre, 640 Acres, Be able to back in to each, .008 or 1 eighth, School Taxes 25000, Homestead exemptions 50,000, Rights of Survivorship Relationships, Tenancy at will 7days-30 days, remainder man, Tenancy for life, Fee simple, Escheat, Eminant Domain, Metes and bounds, know the opposite section on metes and bounds, Anything that has to do with an associate or broker breaking the law, broker pays associate, Licensensed assistant can get commission, un licensed assistant can't (trick question) Lead paint 1978, protected class, siesen clause, how to compute split commissions, fractions(very important) , when a contract is enforceable vs not, rights of survivorship(what it means), one last thing, a question of Bins and multiple floors-deducting a portion-deducting non useable space, FHA-VA how they are insured, Conventional loan market, Federal Reserve, What effects the Realestate Market, Personal Property, Verbal Contract vs Written # of days, Reliction, Depreciation by obsolescence, don't adjust the primary(very important), USPAP, Limits on types of loans (purchase amount), Assumable mortgages, Points-one eighth, adding points, real-estate associate can sell own property-must disclose, 50 buck bonus to apt referrals, leases over one year-must license, Lawyers prepare leases, BPO, what personal assistants can-cant do, The R-for realtor association-who can, Rental list-Refund 75 bucks, Frec can't arrest, DPBR imposes fines, redlining-block busting-steering, what a variance is-Zoneing, habendum clause, novation, defesciense clause, encroachments, 7 members-4 broker etc..., lots of answers where violating 475. I took Climer's sales associate class because I wanted to get my real estate licences to assist my spouse in flipping homes (on the side). I did pass on the 1st try, I bought the audio CD's,"skinny book" but also studied out of the "fat book" (when I needed more clarification) and watched the you tube math videos. Make sure to take all the practice exams in the book. Ron is a great instructor however you need to study on you own as well. Even if you don't know the answer .. the more you know enables you to eliminate answers choices, narrowing it down. I took the 60 hour class + 3 hour class test in a week which I don't recommend. It sounds nice to knock it out but looking back, not worth it. I wish that I had taken the class that spreads out the class longer. I was exhausted and burnt out after 60 hours in week (and 3 hour test).. I could tell as the week went on... Ron was getting tired and had less patience in addition to my class/ students started losing focus. Ron is great and breaks down the information and gives examples that stick but you do have to study outside the class to pass. When taking the test, read the question carefully and the answers... pay attention to detail and if you prepared, you will be fine. I recommend Climer's school of real estate and will be back for my 45 hours post license. read more

Notice how in their response they first say they don't know who left the review but it must be a competitor, then later in their response they say they know exactly who it is and don't listen to angry students? Interesting how they can't decide which one when trying to lay down smokescreen to have you not listen to my review. My original review: The teacher I had treated us like first graders. Every day they use part of your hours to have salespeople come in to sell you additional classes. One day, on the 4th day of class in which there were no problems any other day, one person forgot their ringer on and it went off during class. The teacher lost her mind and told everyone to put their phones in the car, no more phones allowed. 1) We're adults, with kids and spouses that may need us in an emergency. 2) we're paying for this class and 3) in this current world of shootings, do you really think the best course of action is to put 100 people in a classroom and nobody can call 911 in an emergency? When you question their method or even hint of putting a bad review up, they will bully you and threaten to discredit you and expel you without a refund. Veiled threats such as "we'll know who posted it, keep that in mind." Go to ANY. OTHER. SCHOOL. Climer is not owned by the same people any more, it's owned and run by Andy. Take my review with a grain of salt if you like, but there are surely others who were bullied out of leaving a bad review. And yes, I did pass the test and get licensed, but by studying the book and youtube videos of other teachers, not because of Climer. Beware! read more

I passed my real estate exam the first time taking it. This class was easy to understand and presented in a way that you weren't bored at all. I will definitely be back for continuing education. Word of Advice: I did the 2 week school and couldn't imagine trying to get all that information in a week. I highly recommend the 2 week course. read more

During this pandemic and loosing my job I was simply trying to seek another career. Signed up for Climer Real Estate's 2week class hosted at the Exit Realtors office in Deland, FL. Three quarters of the way through the class on the first day they informed us that one requirement was a high school diploma or equivalent was needed. This was not mentioned when signing up for the class over the phone or i would not have spent the money especially since things are so tight as it is. I notified the instructor at the end of the first day and he couldn't believe I was not told this. He then told me that he's pretty sure they don't make you produce any proof of this making me feel like he was asking me to be unethical. At this point I just wanted to be refunded my money since i did not qualify for the license and they refuse to refund my money for a service I did not receive. Shame on you Climer Real Estate School. Taking money from people who are already struggling is so unethical!!!! read more

I am happy to announce I passed the FL real estate exam on the first try 7/14/2020! Unfortunately, I can not give any credit to Climer School of Real Estate in Orlando! I did not have a good experience attending the 2 week pre license course end of May 2020. My instructor was Bill Christen. He wasted a lot of time telling irrelevant personal stories and jokes during the class which made it very distracting to learn! I never complained but I was actually shocked that the people in the class did not mind this non sense! Actually, one student during the first few days of class kinda made a scene and pointed out his irrelevant story telling, she ended up switching to a different class but that's another story. I really hoped it would get better but it did not. To be completely honest, I did not expect to learn everything in 2 weeks, it's a lot of information to cover. I did expect my instructor to be more professional and detailed with teaching the information so that I could have at-least learned a little something. I chose this school because all of the good reviews on google. Once I attended, I almost felt like I got bamboozled with all the good reviews because my experience was not positive. Also, the 2 day review they offer is a waste of time to me...They advertise that people come from all over just to take the 2 day review and I do not understand why. What helped me pass the exam on the first try was dedicating 5 weeks of non stop studying! I went over the FL real estate principles, practices, and law book twice. I used the FL real estate exam manual book and took over 500 practice test questions. I also watched a lot of youtube videos(not related to Climer). My main reason for sharing my experience is because I found out a friend of mine ended up taking the 8wk course with Climer recently(I did not refer him). He mentioned he had a very good instructor but due to a personal matter, they had to replace the instructor the last 2 weeks of his course. It so happens that his instructor for the last 2 weeks was Bill Christen. My friend expressed to me that he was not happy with Bill because of all of his irrelevant story telling and him talking so fast when reviewing the material. His instructor prior to Bill was detailed and took the time to review things. How many people have experienced this and have stayed silent like I almost did? It is unbelievable to me that Bill is the head instructor at Climer. He even joked that he is in charge of the complaints department and I kinda believe it because that's probably why he still has his position. Due to my experience, I will never recommend this school to anyone and I am definitely not returning for the "best 45 day post license class" read more

Hey! Another REAL reviewer here! I can start by saying none of us are bribed into giving 5 star reviews! I personally only give 5 star reviews when they are earned and trust me this team earns it! Andy is a great educator that thinks out of the box and makes it fun. You laugh at his jokes but don't realize that you are learning! It is more than teaching, it is a very creative way of getting into your mind to make you reference these things for the exam. They even have valuable contacts (with great new tools) that are in the field to come in to speak and reach out to you. Yes, they sell things but hey I got some awesome headshots(see Susan), my fingerprints, and the blue book for studying in the same place! Hell I would have bought a briefcase and portfolio if they sold that too! Save me some gas! I also bought a magical Climer t-shirt which I think is a perfect mind trick to take our mind off of the cold and sterile testing centers. It really eased my nerves and I kinda laughed to myself at the thought of the powers Andy said it contained. Even watching more than half of the people that I entered the testing room with walk out in a sad silence did not make me nervous. I KNEW this stuff and I could hear Andy's stories in my head. So the bottom line is Go to Climer, learn with Andy, check out Susan for headshots, call and talk to Pam if you have any questions, and if you are easily aggravated with people(real estate may not be for you) hang with our furry friend Quincy because he is a licensed and trained professional:)... Today I took the real estate licensing state exam for the first time and I passed! Thank you Climer School and thank you Barbara Stone. Barb was my instructor for the night class where I spent every Tuesday and Thursday from January 5th - February 28th. Going to class straight from work until 10:00 PM is tough, but Barb made it enjoyable. She is super knowledgeable and I love her teaching style. She always inserted humor just where we needed it the most! She made not-so-interesting topics more lively and, if we didn't know anything else, we knew she wanted us to succeed. I took a class with IFREC a year ago and to say it was disappointing doesn't do it justice. I got discouraged from real estate and put it off until a few weeks ago. I signed up with Climer for the two week class in Oviedo. I got Jose as my teacher and I could not be happier with my experience! He put everything in terms that made sense, he went above and beyond to help his students understand, and he made the environment as fun as he could. The study guide is written in cyrillic when asked by the staff to provide a legible copy the staff stated they didn't print copies other than those written in cyrillic. When I asked the staff to provide a legible study guide they didn't have another one. Why do you have to pay for something you don't understand? After leaving a review the school contacted me and told me that I could pick up a legible copy at their office. I received a legible copy of the study guide and the teaching method is not bad at all. I am really surprised by Lauren H's review of Climer. I found the review to have a number of false accusations towards Climer! I have finished my studies in Real Estate in this school and am extremely proud to be a graduate of Climer! Andy is the instructor that I got, and for the entire condensed course that I took, he managed to cover all aspects of what we needed to know in order to help us how to understand making the sale and what laws are in place for the actions, or lack thereof, of a Realtor. I guess that since the syllabus and course material used are all state approved, they cover all material as per those requirements. It is most unfortunate that Lauren decided to sum up the school and the reviews because of her 2 hour interaction with Andy and her interpretation of what him and his school are about. Shouldn't she have concentrated in reviewing her teacher if she felt that there was something lacking in her particular class? Anyway, Andy and Climer set up such a positive and open environment for the students. I am, in fact, meeting with a number of fellow students from the class this weekend. He was open to say that sharing ideas and communicating tools that help sell a listing is a large part of what makes individuals in the industry successful. Before joining Climer, I had taken an online course at another Real Estate school in the area. I cannot emphasize how much of a difference the in class experience is. Also, for those that are weak in math, though Andy was able to answer my mathematical questions without any problems (and he said he would only do this outside of class as to not to confuse other students) he kept is simple so that you can breakdown the questions and know how to answer them with the simplest formula. Really, if you wanted to know the algebraic way of solving a mortgage equation, you are going to be disappointed. My hats off to Andy, Pam and the entire Climer team on making my class a wonderful experience. So Glad i chose this school....Took the night class which is is on tuesday night and thursday night start in august....finish and pass the course...Did my state exam 3 day after the course and pass it on the first try...My instructor was Ms. Barb Stone was absolutely a great teacher..take here time and went through most of the material regarding about the big exam...Not going to be a piece of cake but if anyone willing to learn and put your mind in the game, the test can be easily pass....Great school great instructor and good flexible class for people who have to work in the morning....So ready to start working as a realtor now..!! read more

I wanted to leave a review on here and on google bc of how much this course helped me. I just took my exam for the first time today and passed it. I took Ron's online review course and used Linda Crawford's book. I took the 63 hr class online from another school and I really just didnt get it at all. Took Ron's online review course and things just "clicked." He made things that were so difficult for me before, much easier to understand and comprehend. I would def recommend doing the practice questions in the book bc a few of the questions on the exam weren't really covered in the class but was in the book. I would recommend to not get discouraged taking the questions in the book bc they are harder than the test. Just review what you don't know and study the answers to those questions. I didnt do well on the practice questions so I made the mistake of stressing out, wanting to reschedule, even shed a few tears of frustration.. -_-..but honestly, Ron's course really prepares you really well for the exam. All of the math that Ron had on the videos were on the test. It helped me a lot. Also in the test, especially when it comes to the math, they try to trick you, so read the questions very carefully. You cant go wrong taking Ron's course. I was so incredibly nervous bc of the low pass rate. I had a brother in law who took the test three times before he passed and heard of so many other ppl failing the exam. I really didnt want to have to go through that so I made sure I took my time b4 going for the test. But really i studied Ron's videos for less than 2 weeks and only had the book for a week and I passed. You can too. Good luck. read more

Highly motivated team that is dedicated to do what it takes to get you to reach your goal of passing the Florida State Exam. Clear and concise answers provided which made the material easy to understand and retain. I had the privilege of having Lydia Pisano as my instructor for both the 63 hour required course and then for the 2 day state exam review (twice). I liked her no-nonsense approach - as it kept me on track. I also attended the state review with Andy Brown - completely different approach to teaching - which I enjoyed as well. I also listened to Andy's YouTube videos on my commute to work which helped so much. Both instructors provided great tips, insights, creative antidotes and encouragement. For those of you who are afraid of math - they get you through it in a way that makes formulas easy to understand. If you're wondering why I took the state exam review three times - well I made the mistake of not booking my exam the week after taking the class and I let time slip away. If it wasn't for Lydia asking us during the class - who didn't book their exam yet - go do it! I probably would have waited and would have been taking the class again! Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the 2 day review class - but I rather attend the 45 hour post licensing class! So, if you're considering a real estate school - consider Climer School of Real Estate.
