My family and I were looking into dog boarding over Labor Day weekend, and found this place on…read moregoogle. What interested us in this place was it being specifically for smaller sized dogs, under 40lbs. We took him on a trial visit which he loved, although he was very nervous. After that, about once a week we would take him to regular daycare just so he can get used to being around the employees and the dogs. When we would pick him up, he would be so full of energy and joy. He would mainly stick by the people rather than the dogs, he's just like that. During his stay, he had gotten a minor injury(due to his fault not the daycare), which they called us to let us know of what had happened, what they will be doing (cleaning the wound and making sure he doesn't lick it). If it had escalated, they would provide some medication, but luckily he was perfectly fine and unbothered. They were very informative and caring for the dogs, have a great location, and the people are kind, we are grateful. Although we do not need to take him to daycare or to board him anytime soon, we would definitely return here if we needed to.

I was looking around to find a place a bit…read morecloser to us than our usual barks and rec (they are great by the way just a bit far and a little more expensive). We took our two dogs there for a temperament evaluation since it was their first time and we were wanting to book them for a week in October. They took them back for maybe 3 MINUTES and came back out and said that one of our dogs was nervous (I'm sorry but duh) and that we needed to book "A LOT" of day visits so he would not be nervous anymore. It's odd because it's totally normal for any dog to be nervous the first time going somewhere which immediately threw up a red flag for me. Not to mention the lady was pretty rude about it when I was obviously confused as to how they would know his normal stress levels after 3 minutes upon getting there. I got weird vibes so I just said we can cancel it and no worries. She immediately snaps back and says something about me not being fair to our dog if I don't book daycare visits regularly and what am I even doing there if we already have a boarding place etc.(very strange behavior). Most places have you book a day visit so they can see how your dog adjusts the entire day which our dogs do totally fine. Our dog is 10 years old and doesn't have any underlying anxiety conditions and was never prescribed medication for that ever so this seemed odd. Just a bad vibe in general. Unfriendly staff and insufficient time to actually see how the dogs warm up to the place for the first time.

Leo's Grooming, owned by a wonderful man named Steven, is my savior. I called and messaged about 15…read moremobile groomers trying to find someone and Steven was the only one who promptly replied, despite being just as busy with a full schedule himself. It must have been fate because I can't imagine anyone doing a better job, honestly. He is so knowledgeable and attentive to his customer, keeping you in the know about the condition of your pups coat before and after and what he notices about its health. Something no one has ever taken the time to show us before. It reassured me he knew what he was doing and cared about making sure he was leaving our giant 3 year old Doberman in better condition than he found him. We are full time working first time parents and, in a very cliche way, we of course found less and less opportunities to take our dobie to the groomer. Finding a mobile groomer was essential for us at this point in making sure our dobies hygiene didn't get neglected any longer and I'm soooo relieved we have Leo's Grooming taking care of this for us now. I can't say enough h relieved and happy I am to have found Leo's Grooming!

Steven has been grooming my 15-year-old chihuahua for the past 6 years. She's usually super nervous…read morewhen it's bath time, but always looks forward to Steven's visits. He makes her feel so safe, comfortable, and loved. He is gentle with her, babies her, and is always talking to her assuring her everything is ok. She always gets a bath, nail trim, and gland expression. By the end of her groom, she smells SO DARN GOOD and feels so soft. When she gets back in the house she gets major zoomies. I like to think that Steven helps her feel like a brand new pup! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my girl's beauty routine. And even better that it's always from the convenience of my driveway.
