I absolutely love going to Gold Comb and seeing Rachelle! When you walk away feeling refreshed, beautiful, and in a better mood than when you walked in it can't be topped. Not only is it a fabulous space (easy to find, clean, beautifully decorated and warm and inviting) the experience with Rachelle is always fun. Rachelle always listens to your ideas, but I'm someone who says "make me look pretty, do what you think is best". She has tweaked my hair ever so slightly in a way I never even considered and I absolutely loved it! She is brimming with great ideas, and has a knack for color that is truly impressive. As a reddish head my number one concern is continuing to look natural and she achieves and enhances my natural color. I have referred countless friends to Rachelle, and they all love her as well. There aren't enough good things I can say about Gold Comb Salon! This salon is dear to my heart! Every stylist is amazing, engaging and has that ( wow thing) that is intriguing and admirable. I've been a client of Ashley Steinbach's for a few years now. I have NEVER had a stylist nail my request every time like Ashley does. She is technically one of the best stylist I have ever been to and she has impeccable style and taste. I recommend her to everyone I know. She also, cuts both my husband and daughter's hair. Ashley has even created a signature pixie cut for my youngest daughter called "the Char" in which she is complemented and inquired about all the time. I would not hesitate to check out this salon. I had my first appointment at Gold Comb Salon last night. I have had my hair styled by Rachelle for years (over 10 I think) and am happy to see her in the new salon. Rachelle is such a talented stylist. She knows I like to do as little as possible to my hair for styling and always keeps me in cuts that work for my hair and look great! I rely on her opinion for coloring and I always love it and get a lot of compliments on it. I feel lucky to have found her all those years ago and am ecstatic to see her open her own place. The salon itself has a great vibe to it. The furnishings and decor are great and reflect Rachelle's amazing sense of style. Kaitlyn Reed is a magical hair wizard!!! I went in with, well, a horrendous, thick, sad mane and walked out with the confidence of a younger, prettier version of myself. More blonde, more badass. Few day-to-day things are more shocking, disappointing and devastating than getting a terrible haircut so I would definitely recommend heading over to Plum and getting your hair did by Evie! I took off a star because there was someone else's hair on the floor when I got into the seat. Not a huge deal but definitely a little off-putting. PS She also has a really simple system to book online which I really appreciate as it's often difficult to connect with stylists on the phone:)
