He told me I could come back on Sunday and wouldn't be charged again, aside from the $160 consultation fee I paid that day. When I returned Sunday for the actual procedure, the doctor told me the cavity was larger than expected but that he hoped he saved the tooth from needing a root canal. However, after the treatment, the receptionist chased after me saying I owed another $500. I reminded her that the doctor had said on Friday there would be no additional charge. When I asked the doctor, he claimed that Friday's payment was only for the consultation -- which is not what he had originally told me. I also asked why the price was so high when specialists in Manhattan charge $250-$300 for the same thing. He admitted he's not a specialist but claimed he doesn't set the prices -- that Mrs. Malek does. I asked to speak with her, but the receptionist said she was afraid to call her, as she had done so the week before and was treated very badly. She also said, "I know we're expensive -- too bad." I feel misled, overcharged, and treated unfairly. Had I known the real cost beforehand, I would have gone to a trusted dentist in Manhattan instead. I do not recommend this office.

I labored in triage which is a bathroom-less room and an hour later gave birth by pooping all over my child's face, right after they told me the proper room was still not ready. They charged me about $3k for the fancy labor & delivery room. Once in recovery, I asked for my child to be bathed-the nurses refused. She was literally covered in crap. Once night hit -and I'm epileptic and had been awake over 40hrs-I asked that my child be taken to the nursery. I was told "we don't have a nursery" funny, website says you do? And so does my child's bill. So now I'm paying another $3k for a service that I didn't get the advantage of using and supposedly didn't exist. I have spent hours on the phone with their billing department, being passed around time after time and told no charges would be changing. I would only ever return if I had literally no other options.

Conservative oral surgeon and I don't mean conservative in terms of politics…read more Visited for a consult because my general dentist suggested I remove my wisdom teeth but Dr. Lambert suggested I wait a little longer when there is a valid reason to pull the tooth since I didn't have a cavity on the tooth. General dentist thought my teeth gums weren't as healthy as it should be but oral surgeon said teeth looked fine and gums were fine. Wisdom teeth these days seem to be such an easy casualty to dentistry with most dentist but Dr. Lambert doesn't feel that way. He seems to only want to pull teeth that really need to be pulled hence his conservative approach to dentistry. He could easily line his pockets with fees from pulling every tooth that came through his office but he seems genuinely more concerned about patient overall oral health than making a quick buck on an extraction. Office staff was superb, polite and nice. Overall experience was great for me.

I have been going to Gold Dental for only a few months, but had quite a bit of dental work to be done, having let slide the proper care of my teeth and gums for a few years. Dr Gold took care of my cavities in such a professional and yet caring and attentive way, it made going to the dentist not the usual torture but very bearable. Also I had my teeth cleaned by a lovely hygienist who was very detailed and careful and gave me a thorough cleaning and evaluation of the state of my gums. I have also found all of the staff at the office friendly and helpful. I would recommend Gold Dental (and do) to anyone wishing proper dental care in a very nice environment. read more

I love this office. They are so kind and professional, especially the women at the front desk. They are very strict with their COVID protocols and it makes me feel safer when I have to go in. Then when someone does answer the phone, they put you on hold for a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes before they will answer your call. They do not follow through. They do not call when things Are problematic or they have issues with care plans that they have written for you. The staff are extremely limited, extremely overworked and not able to maintain a practice of that size. Don't get your dental work done there because it's not grade a dental work better to pay out-of-pocket and have decent teeth and go to this place and let inexperienced subclass Dentist work on you and staff that don't give a shit about you one way or the other, really not a good experience would never go back. Better to take a loan and pay off the dental work and go to a real dentist and a real place that will answer your telephone calls follow through with your care plans and work with your insurance company this is not the place!!!
