I paid approximately 1500.00 for a crown upon leaving to schedule my next appt they informed me that the f I want a porcelain tooth it would be an, additional 200.00. They will offer you a plan for discount services for an additional 99.00, that discounts only certain procedures. I have requested an itemized bill which I have yet to receive. Steer clear of this company, it seems they pad their bills to make up for a possible lack of reimbursement by commercial carriers. Dr Fassman used bonding for a veneer repair. Bonding did not work. I had 3 other repairs by different dentists for veneer repair. They all used cement. The 3 dentists were at Great Expressions. Tried to make an appointment with this office because they were one of the very few that took my insurance in the area. I advised them I would have a service dog with me. My service dog helps me with dizzy spells (where I can lean into him) if I need to catch my balance) and PTSD. I have a note from my doctor stating this.. He is fully trained and friendly. I was then told "it is company policy not to allow service dogs). Off I went to the US Department of Justice's website and immediately filed a refused access complaint. I hope they get fined heavily. This was the WORST DENTAL experience I have ever had. I've been going to this office for years, and they have been getting new dentists constantly. I never know who will be working on my teeth, however, the latest dentist Dr. AMR, is now who I am referring to as "the butcher". I had to get a root canal, and they had me in the chair for hours, with my mouth pryed open, getting very painful after a while, he then proceeded to put the resin temporary filling in until I get back for my crown, he tried three or four different formulas, none of which were holding, he finally jammed some in there, then leaving a sharp piece of resin sticking out which immediately was poking into my tongue. Thankfully the one new dental assistant reminded him he'd have to file it down. Then I was told I'd have a prescription for antibiotics at Walmart, across town. When I got there , there was no record of my prescription, I flew back across town hoping to meet them before they left office at 5 pm, thankfully I did. But was in tears by then and so upset about what a horrible experience I had just been put through. Then by Thursday, the next evening, all the resin fill Had already fallen off my tooth. I called the office first thing Friday morning, left three voice messages, but Noone returned my call. I finally called the other office to get them to help me. They did. I finally got a reply from my office, and they sent me to yet another location in Liberty, told me to head there immediately, which I did, but didn't tell me an appointment time. I got there as quickly as I could, just to be told when I walked in to front desk, that my appointment was 2:30. And they couldn't see me now, today. With GAS at $5 gallon, and an hour away I could not believe they were possibly turning me away, after I was just told to get there immediately . I yelled that they are the worst dental practice EVER, and proceeded to do a burnout out of the driveway. I was LIVID. My phone then rang and they told me the dentist said he'd see me, the dentist had never told the girls at front desk he wouldn't, the girls at front desk were just inconsiderate, and considering the other Great Expression office had completely fouled up my ROOT CANAL, and I was now open for infection, it was astounding yo me that they didn't care to do more. Thankfully the Dentist Dr. ANUL FROM liberty is a real true professional, he apologized to me, and it took him less than 15 minutes to repair what fell out and leave me a better , smoother temporary fill. I have requested to only see the second dentist again. "THE BUTCHER" Has no bedside manor, he's rough and jolting, he's not thorough and I am in the process of finding a new dentist elsewhere. 2:20 appointment Arrive 2:15 called in 2:45 Quick & Efficient X-rays put in hygiene chair 3 pm "hygienist" walks in at 3:30 coughing up her lungs. I opt out of the cleaning not allowing whatever she has to get anywhere close to my mouth! She says "Oh you got pain? Yes. Well I'm not gonna touch you anyway" THANK GOD! 3:35 another woman walks in "You're not getting a cleaning, No, I have pain, okay well I'm going to move you to another room" Moved to another room 3:45 asks "did you fill out paperwork? Made an appointment to go to Gold Dental, drove 30 minutes for my appointment only to be told they actually didn't take my insurance like I was originally told over the phone. Gold Dental told me to come here, which was right down the road. Great Expressions took me in right away without an appointment. They are very honest about what you need to get done. I would give ZERO stars if possible, I called on two separate occasions because I have a cracked molar that might be infected. The first time i called was i told i had a balance due from a prior procedure i had done and a payment arrangement was made for me to pay the balance when i was suppose to go in for the appt. When I called to see if they had an earlier appt they tried to double the old balance that was due by including a service that was never provided to me. When i tried to tell the receptionist that the service was not for me and must be a clerical error she got very rude and rushed me off of the phone. The funny thing is that i have all of my claims from my dental insurance with all of the work i had done. This place is a DANGER zone and i would stay away. It's a bonus that he's a really good guy. Also, I wish I knew the names of his assistants, the two times I was in there recently, getting fillings and a chip on my front tooth repaired; they were excellent also. This was a lie as no contact had been attempted. I give in and reschedule. I finally get to see the dentist and he sticks around a solid 2 minutes before saying I was finished. It used to be called another name and it was good then. I went in for a crown and they forced me to pay for X-rays that they should have already had on file. They then tried to upsell me on other things that I did not need and the dental hygienist and doctor were VERY RUDE. They use to be good before they changed their name. They gave me a cleaning and NEVER discussed the crown that I came for. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU ARE A DENTIST OR COME WITH ONE. Worst place ever. Never trust these guys. All they try to do anymore is upsell you on dental services like you're buying a car. I went to the liberty location about a year ago for a filling that fell out and they claimed they couldn't do anything. They kept trying to sell me a root canal but I've got no money for a procedure that hardly takes anyway.. Just to have them end up pulling it later. I called this location about 4 days ago and nobody ever answers. I explained I had a dental emergency and they just straight up never called me. CALLED AGAIN TODAY BUT NO ANSWER AND NO RETURN CALL. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They make you really feel like a Number rather than a Human Being. All they care about is the payments. You can clearly see this, by speaking to them for 1 minute. You don't see the same Doctor twice. This place is an assembly line. They even charged my insurance for someone else's procedures. I would stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Go and see real Dentists at a private practice if you want REAL service and maybe even feel like a patient rather than number 6 of the day and $782.00 more for their cash register. I brought my granddaughter to Monticello Great Exppressions for a cavity issue....she has been a patient there for years...nothing changed ...insurance ....phone number.....doctor....address..nothing ...so they gave me papers to fill out for updated information and i said nothing has changed....she said it had to be filled out anyway.... and because i did not know her SS number i could not fill out the paper work right and they would not see her...they also said i had to have a note but mind you it not the first time i have taken her there without a note from mom...the receptions was a bitch and all the other people in the office allowed her to be this way...so needless to say my 14 year old granddaughter does not get seen with a bad tooth because the receptionist was being a complete bitch...and if this how the front desk treats all the patients there i dont understand how they have any patients at all.. be thankful i have respect for my granddaughter enough to not let her have a piece of my mind.... read more
