Small percentage of their awesome accessories.

I went in today to grab some fun Van Halen shirts (love their 80's rock & roll selection) and had more options than I expected! They had VH sweatshirts in 3 colors and multiple sizes. I got amazing service trying to find my vintage denim shorts size, which I have learned is a little trickier said than done. Staff were SUPER friendly and helpful and excited to be of assistance. This place has such a fun blend of western meets rock and roll, their stylists even pulled a few pieces I loved, but as hard as it is when I go in here, I do my best to stick to a budget. They have great incense too, and I was excited to see they have a new fragrance line since the last time I was in. THE spot in the city for bolo ties and cowboy boots. I bought a felt hat from them a few years ago that is still in amazing shape. Great quality!

    The used boot selection.

One of the only strictly western shopping locations in the Seattle area that we could find . A lovely selection. Definitely on the high end price-wise which we expected and is on par for the Seattle area. But still a tiny bit of a bummer. Fun store, fun selection. Amazing unique pieces, new and used. Grabbed a belt buckle. They averaged around $40 but they had a couple around the $30 range and some really nice ones around the $60-$70 range.

I don't consider myself boho country chic anything, but this store is legit. Affordable, gently used cowboy boots in so many varieties that you feel like you're in a museum! Plus, one of my fave pieces of daily jewelry came from here and I cherish it. Another plus, the friendly staff, killer in-store playlist and affordable prices. That is a trifecta!

Dan Post boots, vintage. Thanks, Gold Dogs!

A variety of vintage items for men and women. I always find at least 1 treasure I need to have when I go to Gold Dogs.

Easy to miss so keep your eyes peeled, Vintage Angel is a big shop with a wide variety of clothing and accessories watched over by a nice staff.

The sales space itself is in an exposed brick 2nd floor unit. The focus of this boutique is locally designed accessories and clothing as well as independent labels. Some pieces are designed by the owner, Audrise. She also carries items by two sisters that recycle vintage Japanese obi into hair clips, cards, and wallets. The selection for men wasn't very large, though she said that there will be more later. Audrise also made some of the men's pants. The prices might seem steep, but if you consider that you won't run into every 5th person in the same mass-produced article it is on par or even cheaper than some chains (read: Anthropologie and the like). Audrise was super friendly without being ingratiating. She even recommended some products from a nearby Ballard store. This will be my new place to go for unique apparel & necklaces (also fashioned by the owner).

( not " made by 2 japanese sisters" ) as some have mentioned before. the month of january features ultra cool butoh photographs by seattle's most innovative photographer, kuniyuki ) its too bad that the joint takes a 50% cut offa artists works. keep your eyes open, cuz you might miss it.
