I am a maintenance lead at a property called Alloy Sunnyside, and we have high-speed commercial garage doors that are very expensive. These garage doors are crucial to the security and safety of our residents in the downtown area. Nate and his team worked with me through some tough circumstances that were complicated. His team is a group of people who are very knowledgeable and have a lot of experience with handling any repair issue. I did not end up using this company but, on Friday noon we realized our garage door would not open, broken spring, and I found these guys and called. The young lady said she'd get someone back with me asap to see if a repair today - a Friday afternoon! - was possible. Because it was so urgent and frankly I didn't know to trust how soon they'd get back or, if they could come today, my neighbor called a guy he's used and he happened to be free. And within minutes of making that commitment, these fine folks called me back and said they could get a crew out right away. I felt awful telling them I'd already committed and the guy was totally nice about it! So, we're due for a new door anyway and I'll be calling Gold Label Door for a quote. read more

They Sold me the wrong spring, since they did not have the correct spring to sell me. They wasted 2 hours of my installers time! Also, the operations manager hung up on me while trying to explain the situation. They did admit they sold me the wrong part but did little about it. I will now have to charge them back since they refuse to correct their mistake. I would take my business elsewhere after looking at all the other bad reviews as well as this one. Called in for a service on Tuesday because the garage door stopped opening. Luckily the cars weren't in there so not a huge emergency, more of an inconvenience. They called back the same day and did some trouble shooting over the phone. Said it was likely a broken spring. They were able to get me on the books for Thursday and sent out techs Mike and AJ. They were right on time and showed me the problem was infact a spring. Before replacing, they suggested a new door because ours is in really bad shape. It was a lot less than I expected, but we declined at this point. They didn't press the issue and I am glad they brought it up. Completed installation in under an hour and price was spot on with the quote. Highly recommended these guys, wouldn't call anyone else. read more

Called for a price on a Liftmaster 41A5273-1 Multi-Function Control Panel. Was told that they didn't have that particular unit, but had one in stock that would work. The unit they had in stock was $35. The exact replacement unit on Amazon is under $19, shipping included. Had company in town for holidays so I decided to drive up to their location for the $35 unit (and the quick fix). Get there, attempt to purchase the replacement part and Terry tells me it is now $68. I ask "what happened to the $35 unit?" He replies that the $35 unit will not be compatible with my opener. Not a huge amount of money, I know. Couldn't make myself pay the extra 300%, so I declined to purchase. Wasted 1.5 hours and a 30 mi round trip. Guy didn't even say he was sorry for wasting my time. Might be a great company that does great work. I'll never do business with them again, so I'll never find out. read more

Garage door misaligned and wouldn't operate. Called Wed. afternoon and technician came early Thursday morning. I could have opted for after-hour service. Guy came and repaired within 30 mins. Very reasonably priced. Last year had a similar problem (self inflicted) and technician came out within an hr on July 4! Thanks guys! read more

The installers were very rude. They were repairing the gate as I approach, asking if they were almost done so I can leave for work. One guy said "Nope" I pressed for a time then he said "a couple hours" Well thanks for the sympathy guys. I guess I'll just hang out at my apartment and be 2 hours late for work. I'm just upset that they couldn't careless that I suddenly find out I can't move my car out of the Garage and will have to let the boss know I'll be at least 2 hours late just 30 minutes before I have to be there. read more

Well, my original review was deleted by the owner somehow so I'll make it my daily mission to keep posting a bad review. I had an appointment window of 2 to 4 to fix a broken garage door sping, and no one showed up. So I called at 4:15 and Miles assured me someone was coming and it would get done that day. When no one showed up by 5:00 I called again, but the office was closed. No one ever showed up. Half a day off work wasted waiting around for them. I would say they're unreliable. read more

Friday morning, I had a spring snap on my garage door as I was trying to leave for work. Working off a tip from a friend, I called Gold Label Door. They quickly and kindly added me to the service schedule that day with a window of 11-1. At 11:01, two techs arrived at my house. They replaced both springs and taught me a thing or two about door maintenance. They were done in 30 minutes. A neighbor had a spring replaced earlier this year and it ran them over $400. I paid less than $225 for fast, courteous service. The office was kind, quick and helpful. The techs were friendly, clean and fast. So far, the work is excellent. Our wood clad garage door quit working during this last cold snap [Christmas 2015] My inspection showed a broken spring. I called Matt to line up a service call. He told me he would have an installer at my house in Evergreen within the hour. Jesse arrived in about an hour. He found I had 2 broken springs. During the installation Jesse noticed that the original installer [not Gold Label] had shortcutted the installation by using wood blocks to mount the springs instead of a proper metal bracket; so he took out the wood blocks and installed the metal bracket. Had a garage door spring break on Saturday and called, but the voice mail explained were closed. Used the Email option to explain I was looking for a quote to have it replaced. Didn't expect a response until Monday, but within 5 minutes a response came back from Brian asking for specifics. We communicated a few times and was told it would cost more to have it replaced on the weekend, so opted to have it done on Monday since it wasn't an emergency. Brian clearly explained pricing and proved a range of what the repair would cost (160-260) depending if we wanted both springs replaced and how long it would take. On Monday I received a call to schedule a time, the technician arrived within the time frame, the job was completed within 1.5 hours, well within the quoted price range and absolutely no attempt to up sell services that weren't required. I contacted 3 other garage door companies and nobody other than Gold Label Door would provide a quote without either asking for a $89 service fee to come out and look over the job, or explain they couldn't provide a quote due to the complexity of replacing springs. As a consumer, I would expect anyone in the garage door business to at least be able to give a ball park estimate of what it would cost to replace springs, especially when most of the details have been provided. $100, $200, $500, $700? It's a relief to work with a company that's willing to put for the extra effort and provide the customer with a good experience. Gold Label's website says it all when they say the customer is #1. I recently used Gold Label Door to install two garage doors. I used TeamDaveLogan to find a reputable business. I am not very happy with the way Gold Label Door does business. First, they did not give me a quote in writing. Partly my fault for not insisting on getting one before the work was done. . I thought I could trust them given they are on the TeamDaveLogan website, but when I received the final bill it included $500 for labor that had never been mentioned in any of my dealings with the salesman. I called Bruce who said he would check on the situation and get back in touch with me. I didn't expect anything from them, but Bruce was adamant he would see what he could do to rectify the situation. Never heard back from him. And noticed they gave us the wrong color trim to top it off. Gold Label Door does a sloppy job and doesn't care about their customers. read more
