He listened to the issues we were having and started to check the system. He quickly and efficiently determined that the connection in the logic board was flaky, (the vibration while opening/closing the door would cause a glitch and the opener would stop). He noted that when the connector was bumped or jostled the light would go out just as it did whilst operating the door. He explained the three options to resolve the issue (replace the logic board, replace the opener, or having us buy a new opener and he'd install it. All three options which presented a great value). He wasn't sure if they had a replacement logic board as the opener is 14 years old (Craftsman 1/2 HP). He disconnected the faulty one and went back to check. Fortunately they had a new replacement logic board, he called to see if it was convenient to come Back and install the new board for us He installed it efficiently and professionally. We reprogrammed the opener remotes and key pad. It is soooo nice to have an operational garage door opener again! Ryan continued working, even redressing the sensor wires to the opener (as when the garage door opener was installed the wires were just draped over them support hardware and looked like a rats nest), oiled the moving parts in the garage door (including spring) all after checking to see that the door moved easily and was balanced. I very favorably recommend "A-Team Garage Doors" ! Our cable broke on the night of December 23rd. After the Christmas Holiday, on Thursday, Dec 28th, I called "Overhead Door," as recommended by my realtor, and they responded that they did not service our area - Allenspark, CO. They looked up companies that would and gave me name and number of "A-Team." I placed a call and was connected to Patrick who asked for photos of the problem. Those were texted. I requested repair of the single cable with conversion of our 2 garage doors to torsion springs, as recommended by the Home Inspector. From the photos, Patrick gave me an estimate and said that their technician, James, could be up to our home that afternoon. James communicated clearly and arrived as arranged at 3:00pm. His 4WD truck was well-equipped tools and parts and easily handled the icy steep driveway. He was prepared for the evening darkness and chill with appropriate clothing and work gloves. He worked until 9:35pm to replace both my garage doors with fully functioning and much quieter torsion springs. The job was difficult, the existing system archaic, rusted and poorly aligned. He completed the task professionally and effectively. "A-Team" stuck to the agreed-upon estimate, despite the number of extended hours the job entailed. I am completely satisfied and admire and respect of the work ethic of James and the company. I will refer "A-Team Garage Doors" to everyone I meet who needs assistance, including my realtor, and will certainly call them with any future needs!! On Christmas Eve my garage door malfunctioned and came down on the rear end of my car. I was able to get it loose enough to move my car forward, but then I couldn't get my car out of the garage to go anywhere. After a Google search, I called A Team Garage Doors. Patrick took on my request on Christmas Eve morning, and a short time later I had a call from Mike that he was on his way. He was able to get the door high enough to get my car out, fix the door so it was shut until someone else would come to fix the whole door structure. Ricardo came two days later and replaced the whole door and the opener. They are an amazing crew! They know what to do and have the experience to get it done efficiently. The door opens so quietly now; it won't bother the neighbors anymore. I am so thankful for Patrick and his crew! I could make it to Church on Christmas Eve, and now I have a newer, better, safer, and prettier garage door. I even qualified for a discount. Everyone was respectful, helpful, and informative. It's the weekend, we've already shoveled and plowed 2 feet of snow, and we discover the garage door is malfunctioning. I call A Team Garage Doors, thinking it will be a week before they can make it to our home in the mountains. Patrick says they can get to it by the end of the weekend. Pat made us a priority and does outstanding work! Pat installed our garage doors and openers. His work was completed and done well. On our end, we made some changes in our garage and knocked out some of his electrical work and changed the wiring leaving one garage door inoperable and the wiring scattered. A team garage doors did a great job fixing my broken door. My garage door motor broke when i was coming home from a long day at work. I was sure no one would be able to come out until the following day. My wife found A Team Garage Doors phone number online so i gave them a call. My garage door wouldn't open on a Saturday. Wasn't sure if I needed springs or opener replaced. I reached out to A Team and Patrick promptly told me how much springs would cost and I asked him to send a technician. Fape called within an hour to say he was on his way. My Main G Door had a spring break yesterday, my normal go to G Door repair company could not give me an appointment another 6 days (next week). Today, I found this company in the "Dave Logan Resource Guide" and they were able to come the same day (today) I called. I am garage door illiterate. A couple years ago, the door wasn't working and I called to make an appointment. I spoke with Patrick and he helped me over the phone. My son came home at 1;00 am to find that the garage door would not close properly. It appeared that the door was not aligned, came out of its track and the cable wrapped around the outside of the drum. Called the A Team and they came out the same day. Camell explained to me what the problem was and was very meticulous and thorough when fixing the garage door. We replaced the bulb, however because the key pad is over 25 years old , I decided to replace it. I also asked for an inspection of the entire garage door system, the very noisy wheels needed replaceing. Thought it best to be proactive, since a broken garage door can be a real pain. My daughter had just come inside after closing the garage door behind her. The spring snapped while the door was closing, slamming the 450-lb wood garage door to the ground. Attempting to raise the door was pointless, so both cars were stuck in the garage. The former owner of our house had used another company for garage repairs, and there was a sticker by the garage opener, so I looked them up on Yelp. 3.2 stars? No, that won't do. I did some quick searches and came across Affordable Door Co. Their 4.9 rating with more than 100 reviews told me what I needed to know, so I called and left a message. Mary Anne texted a short while later, asking for a pic of the inside of the door. She then called and was able to tell me the size of the door, give a base cost for the repair, and let me know about other potential repairs that might be needed once everything was broken down. Ok, fine. Let's talk about how soon someone can come out. We settled on Leo arriving early Tuesday morning, which then would've given enough time for my wife to get her car out of the garage for an important announcement. An hour or so later, around 6:30 on Monday night, my phone rings. It's Leo, wanting to know if it's too late for him to come out and do the repairs now. I was caught a little off guard, but yes, that would actually work well. Leo showed up around 30 mins later. I showed him into the garage, and he gave me a brief overview of what he'd be doing. Less than an hour later, Leo let me know he was done. He walked me through what he did, showed me a few other pieces that needed to be replaced, and also talked to me about following up in a few years for maintenance and to have the metal rollers (which were still usable now) replaced with nylon rollers. Service by both Mary Anne and Leo was top notch....better than top notch, if such a thing exists. I didn't price compare, but I'm guessing what I paid is comparable to what others charge...and even if it's a bit more, you definitely get what you pay for. Affordable is the company I'll go to for all future garage door maintenance and repairs....and their sticker is now near the garage door opener.

I called for service of the backup battery...and $2000 later, I have a new this and that, except now, neither light on the opener comes on, so I drive into my garage in the dark. I have less functionality than before I called for service. The friendly sell-me-everything-in-the-truck guy became quite snarly when I called him back to look at the (now worse) opener lights. Yep, the guy put in writing that I need a new opener (another $1500), and yep, I was stupid in listening to the fast talk for how the new springs and bearings would make everything work better. But when the opener finally goes, I will be calling anyone but these people.

They are the repair people for our building In Denver. They finally came out to fix the door after…read more18 days and didn't have the parts so it's likely to be 25 days that the door is broken. Call anybody else, I have no choice as they are used by the buildings
