I was looking for a ceremony DJ when DJ Naka G was recommended to me from my wedding planner. I was…read moregetting married on The Wedding Deck on top of Aspen Mountain (The Little Nell) and was very nervous about the sound quality. My planner assured me that Michael was the best of the best and had tons of experience with outdoor ceremonies. Michael was quick to respond to my inquire and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. I was very particular on what music I wanted throughout the ceremony, the level it was played at, and when to turn off our microphones. Michael blew it out of the park! Not only did he listen to all of my needs/concerns, but he made sure the sound was perfect and everything ran smoothly. It was important to me to have the mics shut off during communion and prayer, so we could privately enjoy that spiritual moment and was worried I would get a DJ who wasn't paying attention or would forget to do this. Not Michael. He was ON IT every second of our long ceremony and truly did a phenomenal job. I cant thank him enough for making everything perfect. Weddings can be so overwhelming and choosing a great vendor who can ease your mind is priceless. If you are looking for an Aspen DJ, he is your guy!

Jill included our own vows to each other within a more traditional ceremony that did real justice to the expectations of our guests and the ideas and values that keep our union together going forward. She was great to work with in the planning stage, knew and appreciated our photographer and was tolerant of our foibles, even in the moments preceding the ceremony. Without hesitation we recommend Jill to other couples finding a way to secure and memorialize their marriage in a very real and lasting sense. It was beautiful.

While the service and staff was courteous and professional, the quantity of the food was very far below our expectations. We had agreed upon a menu consisting of three appetizers and two stations, yet on the day of the event we were served five appetizers instead. This created an extremely embarrassing situation for us as hosts, as the food ran out far too quickly and guests left unsatisfied. Given the cost, the reputation of the company, and the careful planning that went into our event, this outcome was deeply disappointing. We definitely do not recommend this caterer based on our experience.

Red Maple Catering was hired to cater a welcome reception for our family's destination wedding in…read moreBeaver Creek, Colorado. All of our guests were from out of town, and many were arriving the day of the welcome reception. Therefore, we carefully planned the reception to assure that our guests were well taken care of and more importantly well fed. Despite careful planning over several conversations/meetings with Red Maple Catering, we were left very dissatisfied with this caterer's end product. The quantity of food provided by Red Maple given the rather high cost of the catering was nowhere near our expectations. As one of the event hosts, I was only able to try 2 different appetizers (1 piece of each) the entire evening. Many of our guests subsequently told us they had to leave the reception early "to eat" and we ended up having to order multiple boxes of pizza for those guests that were able to stay at the reception. Needless to say, this was extremely embarrassing for us and the other reception event hosts. Again, given the rather high cost of the catered event (even for Beaver Creek) we definitely did not get our money's worth at all. Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing, and we would not recommend this caterer to anyone looking to host an event.

Danielle was my go-to for wedding support, was a calm presence when things became chaotic, and was flexible with all the changes I threw at her (including pushing our wedding 9 months due to covid). She truly cares about her clients and it shows not only in the way she carries herself but in the way she captures images as though you are her family. She was able to capture everything we could have wanted out of our wedding and then some. When last minute plans changed at the end of our wedding night, she even went out of her way to call our transportation company to ensure our ride was ready when we were.
