The bathrooms were spotless and so nice! There is a playground and giant checkers that my kids loved! The owners and managers even hosted a BBQ for all the guests while I was there. The people there are very unpleasant; the owner and his wife are extremely disagreeable. They get angry about everything--whether it's pets or children--and even get upset if the kids ride their bikes or play; they'll scold the children, yet if you, as a parent, try to confront them about it, their attitude completely changes. They also claim you can pick fruit, but that's a lie; they don't actually allow it.

We had one of the 3 back-in sites (#20, 21 and 22), which are basically 3 parking spots close together. There is a shared grass area behind, and an assigned picnic table for each of the 3 sites. We had afternoon shade over our motorhome, and full hookups, so we were mostly happy. Try to get one of the pull-through sites, though, if you can. The Marina has a boat dock, a wonderful swimming lagoon with a swimming dock, and the nicest camp hosts who keep a good watch over everything. Very quiet at night which is a real plus. The RV Park is in the town of Bridgeport, but most of the businesses in this poor town are shuttered. There are two small grocery stores, a coffee shop, a small restaurant or two, and a couple of parks, but not much else.

They have a bar with music on Friday night and three horseshoe pits that are lighted for night time playing. I have a friend who basically hits this RV park annually and constantly raves about it, so I was…read moreexcited to finally get to check it out on an epic group camping trip this past fall with about 40 of my closest friends. I had a full hookup spot in one of the upper loops, backed the ol' Rpod into it, and was set up in a jiffy - although the spot was FAR from level and it took some extra work (and borrowing a couple of their landscaping blocks) to get 'er done. The park is very walkable and friendly. Pretty much everybody has a dog or two, so me and my new pooch met a lot of fun people. There are on-site restroom facilities, although during our visit one of them was closed most of the time. The park is kept very clean, and there were regular drive-bys by park personnel to handle any rabble-rousers (of which there were few, present company excepted). There's also a gorgeous lakefront and beach area, which I wish had been a little easier to get to - most of it is fenced off with only a couple of gates available at the far end of the park. Not a deal-breaker but it would have been nice to have easier access from where we were camped. My biggest wish is that they'd modernize their extremely antiquated website and reservation system. Perhaps I'm spoiled by technology, but it seemed way too 1992 having to actually call for a reservation.

The sprinklers came on and got all of our stuff wet. When I complained to a staff member, instead of being helpful, she responded with an attitude and said, "Excuse me?" Then on Sunday morning, they started mowing the lawn around 6 AM. There was no peace or quiet at all. I would not recommend wasting your time or money here. Washington has so many beautiful places where you can actually relax, enjoy nature, and have a peaceful camping experience.
