This has been my go-to spot since change of ownership last year. After lots of different nail experiences throughout Long Island I can honestly say this establishment truly cares about their customers. For starters, they ensure each tool, pedicure seat, and manicure table is impeccably cleaned between customers. It's hard to find a salon these days that ensures customer safety to this degree. Also, most polishes offered are pretty natural and last a good amount of time (even regular polish). I have never seen this establishment thin out the polish like other places, so I think this is the reason my regular polish actually lasts me more than a week. All the nail techs are kind and detail oriented. I really appreciate that they take the time to address my impacted big toe nails without even asking and prep the nails so they last until your next visit. They never try to upsell me and they take their time with each customer. They also use unique products as part of their manicures and pedicures. They offer a special Mon-Wed $35 mani pedi. Horrible place! Don't get your nails done here. Paid $65 for fancy gel manicure. Scheduled appt with Nancy but was told I had to see Lily instead. 2nd time getting gel manicure with Lily. Had chipped nail 2 days later. Went to see Lily to ask for chipped nail to be fixed. Wax told No Lily couldn't repair without appt & was told to wait. Will NEVER go back again. read more

I called and made an appointment to visit this nail salon. As people should during this COVID time so it limits the capacity of patrons. I show up to my 5:30 appointment and I was barley greeted as they told me to sit. i kept mentioning my 5:30 appointment because I saw them seating another woman who arrived after us. She sat me down and i waited 25 minutes before they told me they can't get to me until 6. The women working there were very rude. What is the point of making an appointment then. I would not recommend this place as they clearly just want as much business as possible and do not care about customer care or quality of work. read more

This will be long, However accurate! I suggest you read: The moment I walked in I was greeted and I showed the lady exactly what I wanted. I wanted coffin nails matte with a design on my index and ring finger. After looking through all of their stuff that took 10 min she said she couldn't do it. Ok so I said I'm goin to go somewhere else. They insist on me staying and they will go get matte. I again told them it's ok if you can't do it I'm leaving, they said no it's ok we can do it. Interesting, so I needed a pedicure told them I wanted gel on my toes. Never gave me gel and not even a week later and they are already chipped and look horrible! Leaving the chair they don't give you sandals or anything like that, they slide your feet into this paper thing that slides with every step you take, by the time I got to the station to get my nails done my bare toes are touchy the floor. So sitting there gettin my nails done I kept the picture out the entire time. They had to fix the shape a couple times, still not 100% what I wanted but close enough. They start puttin the color on and pull out stickers with glitter for the design, nothing like what I wanted.... it was a basic design, just leaves MATTE.... I again have my phone there showing them the picture and telling them that's not what I wanted, If you can't do what I wanted why didn't you tell me that. I specifically told you and showed you what I wanted, my stylist understood and was nice it was the other lady the one who first greeted me that was the rude one that brought out those god awful stickers. My artist did her best and her design came out almost identical what I wanted, thankfully, again she was nice. Time of payment comes, pay with card and ask can I not leave a tip on the card? Again the other lady has something to say oh you don't have any cash, I said I'm sorry I do not. She was rude and said ok this one time we will charge your card again for just the tip. Worst nail experience I've ever had and not even a week later my toes are ruined, one nail is gone and the rest feel like they're falling off. I wanted to go back and get my nails fixed but they'll prolly charge me an arm and a leg and get rude service. Do not recommend at all!!!!!! See picture! read more

The only reason this gets 1 star is because the woman who did my nails did a great job with the nail polish application. I was a walk in and asked for a manicure. I explained to my artist that I had UV gel sets that I wanted to grow out. I asked her to just file the polish and nails down because I didn't want to soak off the nails, which would result in nail breakage. The artist had no idea what I was saying and kept insisting I soak them off. Finally the owner explained to her what I meant. Before she cut my nails I asked her to be very careful because I have extended hyponychium (the skin that grows under your nail when you wear them long). She yesed me to death and once she start cutting so immediately cut too short down to the skin causing me great pain. I then asked her to be careful when filing the tips because she would end up scraping the skin (cause more pain). She began using the electric file and he almost burned me multiple times. Also, I would like to add that she kept the same paper towel down from the previous customer. I will not be returning read more

I was reluctant at first when entering this nail salon only because I'd never been here before. I'd been to a nail salon close by that had the worst service and I'd sworn off pedicures and decided to do my own at home I gave it one more shot and tried Gold Nails (across from Old Navy) Sharon gave me the most amazing pedicure! She was so warm and personable. My feet were in bad shape and I was embarrassed, but she put me at ease and worked a miracle. I felt welcome and very much appreciated. Thank you Sharon. Love this place, the girls are great, best Manicure and pedicure

I've had awful experiences in the past with nail salons. I was reluctant to go this time, but I'm going on vacation and I really wanted a good pedicure. I walked into Gold Salon and was warmly greeted and aided with picking my nail color. (hot pink) Sharon did my pedicure and my eyebrows.
