The new nail lady did a rush job. i asked 5 times for gel nail colors while getting pedicure and she just ignored me. When time to do gel nails she started right away without me picking my color. I asked again for colors and she hands me 6 or 7 rings of colors but no hands to look thru them. Then asks if i just want clear ... um no thank you... had to pick a random color cause i was being rushed. its been 4 days and all my nails are chipping. super disappointed. In the past i havent had the best experience with gel but love the pedicures but this time makes me never want to go back. The prices are super high and not worth the money. read more

Just got a spa pedicure, Uv gel fill in with a design, eye brows, and a massage. This is the place to come they do the pedicure and I've gel and the same time, I came in with a picture of the design I wanted and Kelly was able to make it perfect. The pedicure was awesome as well. Nice place, employees ok but they don't really care for your nails. This has been the second time that I have been to this place. I usually get a pedicure and each time my toe nails are peeling off. I don't know what it is their products but it's a no for me. They probably would care more if i was doing acrylics. My friend and I came here for an impromptu pedicure. Our first impression was that this is not how you picture your typical nail salon. It felt like we were going into someone's house and we were quickly greeted for our appointments. There is a wide selection of nail colors, including some organic options that are an extra $3 to use. Good start! As many other reviewers have mentioned, there is a built-in TV above your massage chair. It wasn't really clear how we'd change the channels but it doesn't matter, because my pedi was over within 20 minutes. This was surprisingly short considering part of this time was also waiting for my tech to be done with her previous appointment, removing gel polish, and a basic pedicure. I wasn't expecting anything amazing but even with sitting at the chair with the fans blowing at your toes, the top coat was smudgy after wearing socks the day after. Upon closer inspection, the top coat wasn't even painted on the entire nail. My tech was nice but I wish she wasn't so rushed and paid more attention to detail-- and maybe upgrade the top coat? Parking is convenient and service is great, but am I glad that this is not my regular spot. Whew! read more

Went here for the first time for a basic pedicure, which is pretty expensive at $30 (other salons are ~$20). I told her I had an hour, which should be plenty of time for a standard pedi. She rushed through it and I was left drying my toes for THIRTY minutes, and even after that time, they were not dry. (During this time, she had to redo both big toe nails because they were completely gummy and wet) After leaving the salon in sandals, I put my regular shoes back on, and upon taking my foot out, I saw that my big toes were STILL not dry, and the polish smudged off into the shoe. Beyond irritated with this experience and now have to redo the entire pedicure myself. Will not be coming back. read more

This was my go-to spot for the comfy chairs with personal tv screens. With built-in nail dryers, both your mani and pedi are done in that cozy space without having to get up. Ultimate in lazy indulgence! When they first opened, appointments werentnecessary and the technicians took their time to make the $45 pedi truly worth it. I guess word spread which would be great if the quality was maintained. But it hasn't. Mani and pedis are rushed. The once mind easing massages are now shorter and done carelessly. The extra cost for callous remover is useless as the tech focuses more on conversations with other techs than on the task at hand. Truly disappointing that the service has waned. read more

I had a Gel manicure and a regular pedicure done, $30 EACH. The nail polish was not painted to the edges of the nails on both sides so i've got naked nails showing and the cuticle lines are raggedy with polish, instead of clean lines, that drives me nuts! She didn't even bother cleaning off the Polish that got on my finger tips. A regular pedicure, at $30, is too much of an increase. There are sooo many nail places in Huntington to choose from for those prices and be able to get a professional looking mani pedi. Will not go back. read more

Hands down the most amazing place I've ever been to! The fact that you sit in a reclining massage chair for both your mani and pedi and it has its own way to dry your nails is so cool! I got a gel manicure and pedicure by Susan and she was great! I also got a 10 min massage from Rosa and it was incredible. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone! My mom wanted to try J Lees nail and spa. I have a go to nail salon but I was willing to try a different place. They don't put any attention to detail. They didn't cut my moms cuticles at all. My mom had gel on before and they didn't even do a soak off. The lady claimed she took the gel off and charged a extra $2. My mom still has gel polish on her nails. The guy that did my pedicure didn't do a good job with the nail polish on my toes. Very disappointed, since they had good reviews I was expecting it to be up to par. Best nail/spa experience EVER. I went in initially after seeing that they were having 20% grand opening but when I walked in I was FLOORED. They were attentive and the place was incredible. All of the seats are leather, comfortable MASSAGE CHAIRS. They gave you an ottoman to put your legs up and that in itself was incredibly comfortable. Not only do they have flat screens on the wall but EACH SEAT HAS ITS OWN TV. As I layed back while Lee and Julie did my nails (they were amazing, friendly and very talented by the way), I was able to watch music videos and relax. While Lee did my nails, Julie brought hot towels in plastic and massaged each arm and each leg. Keep in mind I was just getting a gel manicure with extension which took about an hour. I would say generally their prices may run a little more than average but they have 20% off right now & seem to have deals as well. I like this nail salon a lot. It's right next to my job so I pop in to get gel manicures every other week and they never have a problem taking me right away. The staff is very friendly. The place looks really clean. Each customer sits in their own private cabana with their own TV and their feet up while they get their nails done. I normally like going to Sunny because she has consistently done a good job on my nails. I went today too get my nails done. I had three nail techs have too do my nails when they were done each hand looked different. The problem was that they didn't know how too shape my nails and all I got was powder. I was there for 21/2 hours I can't believe not one person knew what they were doing. They were so friendly and super nice through it all. I would say they should have more colors too chose from 15 powder (sns) colors too shoes from. Was crazy! Than after 45 minutes on one had the lady had no idea what she was doing she was like afraid too use a nail file on me. At the end of my visit they left the color on my hands all around my nails so there kinda crappy looking. And it looks unprofessional I will never go back too this place. This place is spacious, clean and has a great vibe! It has curtains around each pedicure seat and I love the privacy for getting eye lash extensions. The young woman who applied my eye lashes was very kind and she was faster than most with great quality to her work. My eyelashes lasted a solid 2 weeks before I felt that I didn't need it to go back the third week. Loved the quality and I'm totally ditching my current place to come here to even get my UV gel nails done because the staff is so friendly! read more

This place is my new favorite nail salon. There are two sides to the nail salon area, in my experience, if you come alone they put you in the quiet side so you can relax, and if your with someone and want to chat they put you on the other side of the salon with all the other chatters. You have your own personal booth station, leather reclining massaging seat (best massage seat ever), you can customize the massage not just like other salons where you press the on button and it does whatever it's previously programmed to do. Your own personal tv. The plastic lined pedicure bath is rolled over to you, you don't have to waddle to another station for your manicure, they do it right where you are while your toes dry. I had rosa my first time and got the green tea pedicure, she put a warm scented pillow under my neck and covered me in fleece blankets...I could of fell asleep right there. My nails looked perfect when rosa was done. I had Liz the next time, she did a great job as well. I never had to wait, the place is huge with lots of staff ready to take you as soon as you walk in the door. The place is very clean. read more

I come here every 2 weeks for a Gel Mani and special pedicure. It is a little pricey, but mostly the same all over the island, but I come here for the experience and that is exactly why its worth it! In the year I've been coming here I have only had one bad experience, but the reason I'm leaving 5 stars still, is because of how they handled it! They addressed the problem head on, redid my manicure for free and handed me a 30$ gift card for my trouble. They also explained that this is not their standard and coming here for about year, I definitely know it was not. I said is Lee here(owner & nail tech who did my nails) as I had to tell her I cannot return here again there's no customer service no pleasantness and the job is not done well I saw my nail was missing polish and cuticles still there, the older Asian woman says she's up there like saying I'm not getting her. I went up front said I like you but will not be returning. Explained why and she did not answer then said sorry and let me walk out. I left a tip for Kevin who gave an ok pedicure. The day before I recommended the place to a woman I really think it's gorgeous but what's the point if there's no pride in your work and customer care? This owner needs to understand the customer & needs & what spa means and I learned there's more to this place then meets the eye. I'm going back to my place on Jericho elite nails..they massage your neck while you dry and don't throw you out at the moment they close and beg for their payment. A simple pedicure on a Sunday afternoon.... high expectations for this relatively new place that I found through reading the reviews were quickly dashed. Yes, reclining seats, TV's were nice but in truth they can't sway me. Brought my polish and top and base coats too. Not relaxing, kind of stressful to have 2 people switching off to do it mid way. Neither knew where the other had left off and do you need to ask to have the cuticles cut?
