I was thrilled they had this because this isn't an in and out stop, you're committed to at least an hour in here in close quarters with other people. There was a woman next to me in the pedicure chair not wearing a mask and knowing I would be there for a while I asked her to put a mask on. I really don't care. If you're the only person in the entire salon not wearing one, there's a problem. She was so sweet and immediately threw one on. However, when she was going to pay, the owner of this nail salon apologized to her that I had asked her to put a mask on and offered her free service. I was humiliated. You have a sign on your door that says everyone must wear a mask, all the employees are wearing masks and then when I politely ask her to put one on you give her free service? I couldn't believe it. It was as if I was in the wrong while I was actually following their policies. Like I said, embarrassing. This nail salon charges exponentially more than others in the area. I was in last Wednesday for a gel manicure, they charge $40 for this. I had powder gel on when I arrived so they had to remove that first. They charged me an additional $10 for removing the powder gel without telling me they would do that. NO other salon charges you to have gel removed if you're going there to get another gel manicure, which I was. Their gel color selection is awful, their powder gel color selection is worse. And yet, they charge much much more than other salons in the area. For what? The horrible classical music playing on repeat? The nail equipment that they use on you and throw back into the same box they'll use on the next client? No sterilization, no cleaning, I was completely grossed out. They use the same pink reusable nail clips for each client without washing in between clients. They use the same nail clippers and buffers from client to client, I watched it first hand. My gel manicure is chipping and it's been 5 days. I don't know why people love this salon but for the price, they should clean their equipment and a gel manicure should last for a minimum of 2 weeks. Will not be back.

To start, they took me 15 minutes late. I had a reservation for 5:00 PM. Not only was I on time for my reservation, but I was early. They did not take me until about 5:17. MEANWHILE their "late policy" is if you are 9 minutes late, you'll be marked as a "no show." Okay. Well what about if THEY are late taking you for a scheduled reservation? My wax technician was not as friendly as other wax technicians I've encountered over the last 10 years or so. I also felt a bit rushed when I was finally taken. I would not visit this location again. Bad vibes.

Unfortunately, every time I came, there were different technicians so consistency with the same person was not likely to happen. Recently, I had a Brazilian and within a few days I noticed course hair growth, I have never had that happen before and I called to ask for a touch up. The person on the phone was very rude after explaining to me that the policy was within five days I had called on the fifth day and they would not have me come in for a touchup because it was "outside of the window" I was annoyed however I accepted it for what it was and promised myself If it ever happened again I would call immediately. Needless to say it happened again with the same technician. The next time I went back for a wax Brazilian three days later there was hair growth this has never happened before and all of my years of waxing, I explained that I thought the hair was breaking instead of being pulled from the root. They told me since it was within the five day window. I could come in for a touchup, but it had to be with the same technician. She was not scheduled to work until Friday and Saturday. I work Friday so I could not schedule Friday so Saturday I booked her when I got there Saturday for my appointment they tried to tell me I had to pay for the service again. I explained that I had called within the five day window and whoever put me in the timeslot had explained to me that it would be covered as a touchup because they could not put me with a new technician and her schedule did not allow for a sooner appointment . When I got there, the technician tried to tell me it was because of skin care routines I haven't getting waxed for probably about 20 years and I've never had this happen. Again they tried to tell me that the service needed to be performed within the five day window. I had asked originally if I could be with a different technician since this is the second time I was not happy with the services. quite honestly their professionalism at the counter can be questionable depending on who you get.
