I purchased a 2012 Jeep Liberty, it's been a great vehicle. They got me financed and the owner got New tires as promised. The salesman was very professional and answered all my questions. I've now had my jeep for 3 years and it's still a in great condition, I drove it to El Paso Texas 4 times with No issues. That's approximately 1800 miles round trip. Dmv has no record of any title transfer. My tags expired in Nov. I have called repeatedly trying to get it fixed, they were cooperative in the beginning. Then they stopped answering the phone, would answer and hang up then just hang up. They told me multiple times that they paid for my registration and to just wait. I have been pulled over multiple times due to my tags. With the last 2 resulting in them threatening to impound my car. I recently purchased a 15 Hyundai from this business and inside of two weeks after purchase the timing chain went out. In our contract there was a 50/50 cost clause for any engine or transmission repair. We took the vehicle to our regular mechanic and received a quote for $1800. We then took it in to Gold Rush because of the repair clause. After they looked at it we were informed our (50%) would be $1600. I questioned the amount and was told that was half of the estimate. I tried to connect with the owner Dean because he is the one who told us we had this clause. Dean has not had the courage to address this issue to this point. On August 28, 2022 I purchased a 2007 Dodge Dakota from Goldrush Auto Sales. After driving only 30 miles, the check engine light went on.I immensely called Dean and he said no problem, bring it in on Monday. In the meantime, I had the code read at AutoZone and it determined that there was a problem with the catalytic converters and the PCM was bad. I went back on Monday and the mechanic indicated that indeed the computer needed to be replaced and that would solve the problems. I was told that it would e okay to drive the truck in the meantime. Well, the truck started running very badly and I was afraid that I would do more damage,so I parked it. The following week I returned the truck for repairs, expecting that it would take 2 or 3 days to repair. I tried to call several times after the 3rd day but was ignored. Finally, after 2 more weeks, I was called and told that it needed a new timing chain. Long story short, seven weeks after my initial purchase, I was told it was ready. I took it for a long test drive. It was now smoking badly and I had to add 3 quarts of oil to the crank case. Then the check engine light went on again! I returned it to the dealer and told them to fix it correctly. I was in daily communication with my lender, as I wasn't going to make payments on a vehicle that wasn't in my possession. The truck never got fixed and the lender forced the dealer to buy it back. Now the dealer refuses to return my down payment stating that defaulted on the loan. Bottom line...this dealer hoped to stick me with a problem vehicle! I specifically asked Dean if he had run the Carfax report but he lied! If he had, he would have seen a suspected rollback report. Please read!!! Please read!! In no way is this an attempt to defame this business or to deter any future customers from spending their money here. I have decided to retain a lawyer and will pursue every monetary and legal action possible until I get what I paid for or a full refund. As a paying customer, I am writing a review to express my factual experience on this Yelp platform where we as customers share our business experiences. I have endless documented proof that will secure my victory in any arbitration court or lawsuit hearing resulting in you producing my purchased title or a full refund. The owner, Dean was helpful when we first met. The 2013 Dodge Charger had high miles but the price was fair. On November 17th 2021 I called the DMV which was unaware of any transaction on the car I purchased 47 days prior. Which explains why Dean signed multiple pages of our contract but did not date them. Which I discovered after the completion of the sale. At this point I began calling for weekly updates and got the usual run around. A few weeks later I decided to drive there and see if I could get some answers. After a peaceful conversation with Cathy one Mr.Dean, was clearly loud and aggressive to the point I had to tell him multiple times to not be aggressive with me because I was peaceful with all his workers I communicated with. He would go on to claim all his actions were legal and that he had 90 days and we will cross that road when we get there. This conversation happened after 66 days with no title and unknown to Mr. Dean, nearly 20 days after I had already spoken with the DMV who was previously unaware of any transaction on my vehicle. All my actions are "legal" is what Dean told me face to face December 6th 2021. A simple refund will solve everything and I will stop my legal pursuit. There is nothing left to discuss and due to the aggressive nature of Mr.Dean I no longer feel safe being there to discuss this in person as logical adults without a police presence. Mr.Dean and his misrepresentation of the property sold to me combined with a failure as a dealership to disclose the title issue prior to the sale, his failure to be an understanding business owner regarding my frustration for the lack of professionalism for my paid transaction and what appears to be an attempt to back date and forge our paperwork avoiding future DMV penalties or fees has left me with no other choice. This legal process will begin, as I will file complaints with the Sanger or corresponding local business bureau reporting his actions, complaints will also be sent to the DMV regarding his business and his practices followed by our future dates for arbitration or lawsuit proceedings. Not sure what he assumed but I am a college educated military veteran and through legal actions and the law I will pursue every last penny this man owes my family in addition to any awarded court related fees. His business decisions have created a financial nightmare for my family and jeopardizes my ability to earn income through my military GI Bill as I fear I won't be able to legally drive my vehicle as needed. With a $200 licensing fee in our contract and his collection of $665 sales tax it shows he is currently in jeopardy of not providing the services I paid for to complete this transaction in a professional and timely manner of 90 days. But I will not stop pursuing this to the fullest legal extent through the court system until this businessman makes this right. As I was told by Dean on the afternoon of December 6th 2021, I must be patient. Taking his advice that is exactly what I'll do. A failure to provide me an authentic title or full refund will result in me pursuing all the legal actions possible until I get a full refund. I no longer want to do any form of business with this individual as I believe his practices to be misleading and unethical. Therefor undermining any agreement due to the appearance of his misleading ways. I do not believe any business can legally sell any form of property when that business is unable to provide proof of ownership at the time of the transaction and still unable 70 days later. 20 more days to go. read more

I'm currently working with my niece in the hopes of resolving an issue she is having with Gold Rush Auto Wholesale in Sanger, CA. This dealership sold her a vehicle, a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, with pre-existing damage which that was not open and obvious. The damages were found when she took delivery the vehicle and items stopped working and fall off the vehicle. She The returned the vehicle immediately to the dealership, on the same day it was purchased, to repair these damages and she was instructed to leave it for these items to be repaired. This should have been the end of the matter, but it was not. 4 days after the purchase of the vehicle she learned the vehicle had severe to moderate structural, mechanical and suspension damages that had not been disclosed. She has since secure a diagnostic test which confirms the damage listed above and more. The estimated repair cost for the damages found on this current diagnostic test is more than $5,000, with no guarantee that once the vehicle is torn down there won't be more. The owner refused to talk with my niece when she attempted to work with him to get this matter resolved. He walked away from her as if she was invisible and is refusing to complete the necessary repairs. He is now threatening to Lien sale the vehicle and to charge her daily storages if the vehicle was not remove from his premises. The vehicle is unsafe and mechanical unfit to drive. My niece works hard, she is a single parent of 2 and struggles to make the ends meet. She can't afford to allow a business to take advantage of her because of her gender, income status and/or their perception she lacks the knowledge or ability or resources to hold them legally accountable. Well i guess it will take a village to show Douglas and Dean they have underestimated the family that supports my niece. If you question the above and need proof of this dealerships pattern of behavior, please do a Fresno superior court search using their business name Gold Rush Auto and/or Golf Rush Auto Wholesale. Check the BBB, Yelp and finally the DMV customer complaints. You will see we are not making this stuff up. This was the wrong approach wrong approach in working with him trying to work with them I purchased a car on February 21 and from that date until recently I have been battling with gold rush, auto sales to fix the pre-existing damage to my car. In other words they sold me a vehicle that had prior collision damage and was unsafe to drive. I was dumb enough to buy a car on the fly because I had just been in an accident that totaled my car. They only let me drive down the street and I paid cash straight for this car. Overall it's nice and the carfax was good maybe I got lucky but when I was on the way home on the freeway the tire pressure sensor came on and has not turned off since. I immediately called them and text and then realized they'd be no help as now I'm the owner so I got the car off their hands. Anyway it's over a month I don't have my tags or registration yet so driving on tags that say 2016 I'm pretty sure I'll have to buy my own and may never get the title to my car. Also when I got home my tire went flat. I took a closer look and they GLUED down the metal on the tire you know once tires are done for the metal comes through. They thought they could glue itdown and get away with that. The very next day I was told to take it to their guys and get used tires put on. Hell no. Look at the shit job they did to the car to sell it so I went out of my way and spent $600 on new tires because I have children in this car. Thankfully I don't have any other issues it's been over a month but anyone who has gotten bigger issues needs to sue for being sold a lemon. That's illegal.
