If I could leave negative stars, I would. This dealership took advantage of my teenage, college-aged son by selling him a car that showed serious issues almost immediately. Just two days after purchase, the check engine light came on, and diagnostic tests revealed multiple catalytic converter codes. These are issues that would have prevented the vehicle from passing smog. To make matters worse, the dealership failed to provide a required smog certificate. When we returned and stated we would not leave until the proper documentation was provided, the owner escalated the situation by calling the police. Law enforcement informed us that they are called to this dealership frequently and that the owner is known for shady business practices and is already under investigation. BUYER BEWARE!! I hate and rarely do leave negative feedback on small business owners, but this situation warranted it. My ex-wife and daughter were looking for a used Mazda and saw ads for one sold by several different people all working out of Perry Dean Aero, one priced at $6,900 and the others at $7,900. I read some online reviews, and they weren't great, so I steered them away from it. Well, after looking at other vehicles we ended up back here, so I drove my daughter to Perry Dean. As I get out of my car, I am greeted by the owner, Dean. He takes me to the car. We take a test drive and come back interested. Tell him that I've seen two prices and will be paying cash. Dean tells me that I will get the $6,900 price. He looks and says, "Out the door $7,500 with tax and license fees." Deal! I get a cashier's check from Chase and finish the sale. That's where I wish it had ended because I would have given him a 5-star review. We purchased it in August and by late September, I hadn't received the plates, so I called and spoke to Cathy. She told me that they legally had 90-days to do this, but would move me to the top of the pile. By the end of October, still nothing so I called back. Cathy said she had some issues with her license, just got it active and would get on it within 3 days, asking me to call her at the beginning of the following week. I decided to call two weeks later and was told "Cathy didn't show up to work today and she has turned her phone off. Call back another time." With that info, I went to the AAA DMV and was told that they couldn't do anything and that I needed to sit on their front porch until Perry Dean Aero provided me with something. Thus, I waited a couple more weeks and called yesterday. Cathy told me that she had the title, and I could come pick it up. When I walked in, she said she had to do some paperwork and would have mine ready in 5-10 minutes. I asked if I was going to have to pay for registration again since I had already done so and BOTH Cathy and Dean said, "No you shouldn't have to." She came out once to show me two documents and ask if that was my signature and I said, "Well I don't have my glasses, but it looks good." I went back to AAA DMV and was told that because this was a dealer sale, I needed to go to the DMV. I decided to go home. When I got back home, I looked at the documents Cathy gave me and noticed that two forms showed a sale's price of $3,300, not $6,718 plus the rest in tax and licensing fees for a total of $7,500. I call Perry Dean and spoke directly to Dean saying that I paid $7,500 but she put $3,300 on the forms. Dean says, "Go to the DMV and tell them that you paid $3,300." I then looked at the two forms again and swear I had NEVER seen these before or been given copies prior to yesterday. Then her question about my signature came to mind so I took a look at that. Sure enough, they look forged, especially the Report of Sale one. You see, I am left-handed and wouldn't have the curve to the right on the K and D. In fact, I just spent 10-minutes trying to do it and couldn't. So, in summary I got the runaround for almost four months with them not turning in the registration like they are legally supposed to, then forged documents saying that I paid $3,300. What else could possibly happen? I go to the DMV and am charged $603 for registration! You have the whole story, so if after reading this you still want to give Perry Dean Aero a shot at your business, then do so at your own risk. read more

Be cautious! Avoid this place. I picked a Chevy Malibu for my child on a Saturday, impressed by its four new tires. They assured me they'd fix a few issues if I left a deposit. When I returned the next day, the promised repairs were poorly done, and two of the supposedly new tires were replaced with worn ones. A young employee said I could speak with the owner on Monday. However, when I called, a very rude woman informed me the car was sold and abruptly hung up. My son bought a car from this guy and 2 days later noticed the car making a sound. We took it to mechanic and come to find out it needs a new transmission! We called and spoke with Mr Perry dean to ask what they could do or would be willing to g to do to make it right and basically said sorry nothing we can do. This guy is a crook! My son just got out of the military and has money saved to buy a car and now has to save another 3500 on top of the 5800 he paid for the car I don't know how this guy sleeps at night!!! new ‼‼they are running a scam business‼‼do not purchase anything from them. they will rip you off!! their communication with us was terrible, no calls answered and when we went in to question them they acted like they knew nothing! i know academy auto repair and perrydean aero are the working together because i spoke to jayce zimmerman. which he was also present in the perrydean lobby when we bought a car from them that day. looking at the photos they have up on here that is the perrydean lot!!! and they failed to continue the process of getting the title changed into our name. they told us the $300 charge was for them to properly change the title to our name and it would take a month, a month went by and we never received it. so we went back to get the papers and they said they lost it they have no idea where it was, bs. weeks later we finally got the papers that they "somehow found" to go to the dmv and get our title by ourselves!! and we never got that $300 back that we payed for them to transfer the title!!! this so called "business" they have going on there in sanger, ca is highly unprofessional. read more

They are liars and thrives. They take your license registration fees and then don't provide you with your title. They are under investigation by the dmv for multiple violations but he is still in business. Someone needs to do their job and shut him down and throw him in jail. Oh and the positive reviews are fake. He has you write them when you are buying your car and stands there until you're done. Utter scum! read more

This place is the worst I've ever seen! First, I go to buy a car from them. They blatantly lie to my face and tell the car is legal to drive with a busted windshield. They showed me deliberately the wrong carfax for the wrong car which they were trying to defraud me! Then they pressured me into paying them and signing the contract before the promised repairs were done. The windshield they replaced was put on without the proper seal and then the windshield was taped in and I was unable to even wash it. The car pulled so hard to the left I demanded an alignment which they did but they covered up the fact that the struts and shocks were completely blown out. When i called and tried to get them to fix anything they told me everytime they would call me back after talking to management but shocker, They never called me back!!!! I told them I couldn't make it in that day and then in the middle of the night they came and took the vehicle without me knowing I called the them and they kept putting me on hold and telling me they were going to call me back but never did they blocked me from their cell phones and the Dean the owner told me in person that he would give me my dow payment just give him till end of the day but then he left and it wasnt even the end of the day. they lie and just want to charge u all these extra fees for down payment. bad business would not refer them to my worst enem. read more
