From the moment I arrived, the attitude came off as rude and dismissive rather than welcoming or professional. Instead of communicating clearly or respectfully and descalating situations as bouncers should do, this specific bouncer was doing the complete opposite causing situations to escalate and make guests feel uncomfortable. Bouncers are there to deescalate situations not make situations. What makes it worse is that this kind of behavior reflects directly on the business. A bar can have good drinks, music, and atmosphere, but the first interaction people have is with the staff at the door. When the bouncers create an uncomfortable or hostile environment, it hurts the bar's reputation and discourages people from returning. I've heard the same complaints from others, which tells me this isn't an isolated issue. Management DO BETTER this is unprofessional not fair to the other bouncers and workers at your bar who are good at their job.

This is one of the only bars in Yuba City that allows smoking inside the bar, so if you are allergic to cigarette smoke (or over sensitive) this is not going to be the bar for you. They do have a pretty good ventilation system as it doesn't seem really smokey most of the time. The service is top notch, all the bartenders are awesome and definitely know their stuff. I am not the most adventurous drinker, I tend toward Jack and Coke, or beer, but I have seen all of the bartenders here tackle drinks of all kinds and they work hard to make their customers happy. During the spring and summer they have live music on the back patio on Saturday evenings, with free barbecue and salads. I have seen some great bands here and had some great food. There are two pool tables and they do have Karaoke most nights (Thursday, Friday and Saturday with Rockin' Ron). If you are looking to get your party on, and make some new friends this is the place to be, I love this bar!

Drinks are very well prices and the chilled Patron is a definite plus. If you want a place to sit or even a spot by the bar, you'd better get there by 8PM. A night at the Corner Bar reminds me of a night at a high school prom. There's sure to be a girl crying, a guy yelling, someone puking, and a lot of dancing.

First time visiting this place over the weekend, had family over visiting. Place is very nice and service is on point!! My family and I had a wonderful time. Everything was priced so well, I don't have any complaints...great music, food, service, and the tables are great!!! 1st time there tonight and I loved the experience! Juke box with up to date music, many amazing tables with fast felts an the tables are large.. A great selection of drinks an food.. But that cook Destiny makes the food so delicious!!! I'll definitely be back for more in the future!!! read more
