This place was highly recommended by locals. -Wait time about 5-10 min on a Saturday without reservations. -Large booth seating available for bigger parties. -Eccentric decor, torn seats, looks a bit run down. Service was okay. -Wings are excellent as all the reviews state. -Enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip - got half pita bread, half chips. -Really liked the Jamaican bean salad. As a vegetarian, I got it without chicken, they were kind to substitute it with fresh avocado.

First time visiting today - food was delicious, service was prompt and friendly, and the over all vibe of the restaurant as a whole was family friendly and welcoming. Will be back when visiting Yuba City!

Literally stumbled upon this place while passing through Yuba City on a trip and discovered a hidden gem. Great food and service. Loved the "feel" of the place. Wood surfaces, nicely decorated.

Great food, ambience and service! Five stars for Sarah, the brilliant pretty lady who helped us with our food. Will always come back here as long as she works here!

Ordered the cardboard pizza- I mean margarita pizza.

I'm giving them a three because the service was ok and the nachos were good. However, the real shocker of the night was the pizza we ordered. I can't believe I actually had legitimately bad pizza for the first time. If you're ever curious to try bad pizza, order the margherita pizza here. It was severely unseasoned aside of the sprinkle of black pepper, bland as a piece of cardboard, no clue what was going on with the bread. A saltine cracker with tomato would've tasted better.

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Maryville (at 1st & D St's), and next to the Chinese "Bok Kai Temple", this longstanding and well known restaurant/saloon/hotel has been in operation dating way back to 1858 when the peak of the gold rush era was thriving in California. Over the years, the upstairs hotel (a.k.a. "The Grand Hotel") was once a brothel amongst various operations before becoming a permanent hotel for guests to stay. Meanwhile the downstairs has served as a full-size bar complete with a ton of American comfort food to choose from on their extensive menu. I came here during the afternoon of Saturday 7/19/2025 at around 4:30pm. Since this was during the 25th annual "Marysville Peach Festival", there was a ton of customers and locals visiting during my visit. Surprisingly, parking was easy to find as I parked directly outside of the building. Once inside, you are immediately drawn to the nostalgic wooden interior. From the looks of it, not much has changed here over the years complete with vintage sepia chandeliers, huge brick ovens, taxidermy displays of various animals, and everything else that represented the wild wild west. Their menu is extensive and has just about all of the stick-to-your-ribs food you can ask for. This includes a ton of appetizers (poppers, fries, mozzarella sticks, etc.) as well as a nice variety of main course entrées that include sandwiches, burgers, salads, steaks, pastas, and much more. And since you're in a saloon, they offer all of the top whiskies, bourbons and brandies as well as a ton of beer on tap. Keep in mind that they are closed on Monday & Tuesday but open for business Wed/Thu and Sunday from 11am-8pm and Fri/Sat from 11am-9pm. After narrowing down what I wanted, I finally settled with their "French Dip" sandwich. This was a traditional and classic sandwich complete with their smoked roast beef w/Swiss cheese & mayonnaise on a hoagie roll with a side of Au Jus sauce. I opted with home fries as my side and a Coke to drink. I also ordered a starter appetizer which was their crispy "Chicken Tenders". Our server was very attentive as my +1 and I sat on a quieter side of the restaurant (near the windows). Total time took around 25 minutes to get our food; not a big deal considering this place was absolutely packed with customers. Overall, my French Dip was delicious and filling. They were generous with the thin sliced roast beef while there was the perfect amount of cheese. The au jus had the right amount of consistency as each bite hit the spot. However, the chicken tenders were just so-so as there was too much breading on the exterior. And considering these were $16.95 for 4 tenders, it was quite a bit on the pricier side. I don't want to knock this place too much but I did see quite a bit of flies by our table. But I do realize that some of these things are beyond their control with as busy as it was. All in all, the "Silver Dollar Saloon" is a good place for small and large gatherings. The service was excellent while we got filled up during our visit. My rating, an above average four stars.

Okay ... you may be surprised to know that this review is coming from someone that doesn't even eat…read moremeat. You read that correctly - I do not eat meat. However, my wife had caught wind that buffalo wild wings serves cauliflower wings as an alternative to those like me who do not eat meat. To be completely honest, I was skeptical because places that specialize in serving meat dishes do not always get plant based alternative dishes correct. Yet she was so adamant about trying them out that I agreed to go with her. I am happy that I gave in because it was one of the best decisions we've made in 2026. My wife appreciated the service that she received from the cashier who was giving us this order to go. We ordered two sets of cauliflower wings and a small order of fries. She did ask for one of the cauliflower wings to have dry rub and to put sauce on the side but we will let that go simply because all three dishes we tried were absolutely delicious. I don't think there are many plant-based restaurants that I've been to that have the recipe for cauliflower wings down in this way. The garlic honey cauliflower wings had a very low heat rating which helps the both of us out but it does not take away from how delicious it tasted. The other set of cauliflower wings that we got without sauce was just as good. Both of us were not expecting the french fries to taste this good. Needless to say, our experience with these three late night snacks was amazing! If this tastes as good on cauliflower, for those looking for an alternative to other places that sell wings, they may just have some of the best out there judging solely by the sauces. I really enjoyed these three snacks that you can find in my photos and I encourage you to head on over there to pick these up at your next work potluck, church potluck, football lunch celebration, or just something quick to have when there is no food to prepare at home. These cauliflower wings and french fries are amazing and it would only make your year better to give them a try.
