I had my birthday dessert to redeem by July 26th so I took advantage of it! I got a cheeseburger with fries. Burgers are always good and I love how the bun is slightly toasty. The fries have a hint of pepper and not overly salty. Full bar. I chose the molten lava cake with ice cream to go. It held up really well in my ice chest! When I got home I heated up the cake alittle bit to get the chocolate inside to start oozing then put the ice cream on top. Delicious and plenty for 2 people to share! You do need to be signed up on the app to redeem special offers such as a birthday dessert. Everyone seems genuinely happy here. Employees are friendly! Unfortunately, my experience at Applebee's was disappointing. The waitress was very friendly and did her best to help, and I appreciated that the restaurant comped the meal when I expressed my concerns. However, the food itself was not good. The wait for the meal was much longer than expected, and when it finally arrived, part of it was piping hot and fresh while other items seemed like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite a while. The noodles were especially disappointing, with an unpleasant texture and flavor. Considering the quality of the food, I felt the prices were too high. While the customer service from our waitress was excellent, the overall dining experience did not meet my expectations. read more

Came in on a Thursday around 9pm for the late happy hour. It was busy so we sat at the bar (it was pretty empty) the bartender Raena was very chatty and informative and the only bartender on site??. We ordered some appetizers too since they are half price. Pretzels with beer cheese, wonton tacos and boneless wings. All food items were served hot and fresh. And all drinks were great. Horrible service. waited in total for 50 minutes (not including the ten minutes to be sat) without food and it took 15 minutes to get us our drinks. 3 other table had people already sat and eating when we walked in, and while the bar itself was full, every other table and seat remained empty. saw four employees walking around and talking, and sitting in the booths while one waitress tended to us and while friendly, unfortunately exceedingly slow. Was left with no option but to leave because by then it was 12:10 AM and needed to be home for my daughter. Ruined a night out, really sad. You guys can do better, if you need someone who knows how to properly run a floor, look for them. read more

Worst experience ever! I'd give zero stars if I could! The steak was so DRY! Disgustingly dry. The broccoli was soggy! I wasn't expecting much bc it's Applebees but come on! And then we were there for my sisters birthday and we told them it was her bday so they'd bring ice cream or whatever. But they brought the ice cream and sang right after they set down her food!! ‍ by the time she got to eat it it was melted! I mean, get your timing right! I will never go here again. Popular place that my kids enjoy. The highlight is this place has really nice window views while you dine. It was a nice day with good sunlight. We ordered the hot honey glazed chicken bacon skillet. My son's favorite! The crispy chicken is coated in a sweet glaze of "hot honey" with bacon over a white sauce Mac and Cheese. The chicken was good, the bacon was tender and Mac and Cheese was just okay. Simple. Good portion. This use to be on the 2 for $25 menu. I think that was a fair price. It's $16.99 , not too bad. I used to have a poor opinion of Applebee's, but things have turned around. It's National Cheeseburger day and Applebee's has a deal for $8.99 you get a Bacon Cheeseburger and fries. But looking over the menu, the real deal is everyday, they have this thing called the "Really Big Meal Deal" for just a buck more $9.99 you get the same 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger, fries AND a drink included. Normally I've been going to Chili's, but heard this burger was better, so here we go! I ordered it cooked "pink" with extra tomato and onions and pickle all no extra charge. I got the strawberry lemonade for my drink. The service was fine, she knew the menu choices and put it into her Ipad thingy. I was able to pay using the little kiosk thig on the table. That made the service faster and easier. Emailed me the receipt too! Now, for the food! I gotta say, YES, this burger is very good, cooked more or less as ordered, but I did like all the extra tomato and onions. I'd say the meat is bigger and of higher quality than Chili's, so for this price, I may just have to switch to Applebee's .... never thought I'd say that, but it's the truth after giving this burger deal a try! We have been here a total of 3 times and it has been consistently great. Food is delicious and menu changes so much to try. Drinks are always great. As well as the service. Sometimes obviously when under staff and busy it can get dirty and wait times varies but sometimes you just do the best you can. The communication is on point and my family enjoys it. Walked into a very slow Applebees only to be told the wait is 10-15 min. Mind you, there were a good 5 booths open on one side, another 10 booths and tables on the other. So we agreed and sat... as we were being ignored by the 4 hostesses/waitresses I. The lobby for about 15 min. They decided to ignore us completely, and go sing happy birthday to another customer. Pretty bad customer service. Won't eat here again. Bounced over to B Dubs and got greeted and sat immediately. The customer service is much better here. read more

My daughter and I stopped by today, hoping for lunch. We walked in and there was no hostess to take our name. No problem. We sat down and waited, and waited, and waited. No hostess. No one even looked our direction. It wasn't particularly busy, lots of empty tables. Still, we sat waiting patiently. After at least 16 minutes of not being acknowledged, we decided to leave and go to Chilis. Applebees, you may want to take a lesson here. I left Chili's to grab the Blondie dessert for my birthday. This dessert is probably my favorite and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves sweets. It's this soft, buttery blonde cake topped with a thick maple syrup and cream cheese sauce, it's sprinkled with candied pecans, too and topped with a scoop of vanilla. Trust me on this. I came in here for dinner with my two nieces as they received a kids eat free card for good grades. We were sat down but not given kids menus even though I was clearly with kids. Our waiter finally came by and I informed her we needed a kids menu and showed her the kids eat free cards which she said we could use and she will take it towards the end of the meal. We put in our order and waited for about 15-20 minutes for our meals to arrive. Once our meal arrived we began eating. As kids tend to do they needed to use the restroom so I went with my nieces as i didn't want two young children going by themselves. When we came out our table had been cleared with all of our food taken away. At first we thought we were at the wrong table. We saw our waitress and I explained that we went to the restroom and our meals had all been taken away. She didn't necessarily apologize just expressed shocked and said we will remake the food. We had to wait another 15 minutes for our food to be remade and brought out to us. You would think after being inconvenienced the staff would check up on us a bit more but in fact I had to ask multiple people for items that took 10 minutes to come out. The manager did not come out to check up on us after our incident. When it was time to pay I handed the waitress the two kids eat free cards as each of my nieces had their own for getting grades and I also had a coupon for a free dessert I received in the mail. The waitress immediately says she can't use both cards on one transaction. Let me point out in the beginning of the process I had already told her I had these cards and she acknowledged we could use it but now when it was time to pay I wasn't not allowed to use both cards. I explained to her I have two kids they both have their own card, our experience was already ruined from the incident and now we are arguing about the cards. She got frustrated and said I'm not arguing when she clearly was and said she will talk to the manager. Went for appetizers last night. Restaurant has been recently "improved and upgraded ". It looks cheap and was dirty. It was about 4:30, maybe 12 people in the entire restaurant. The service was slow, the food was cold and I noticed multiple orders needed to be taken back because they were wrong, this included the curbside pickup option. Staff could be overheard complaining about having people in their zones and it took forever to finally get our check, after asking more than once. Ordered all you can eat. Told the waitress to start the second course when the first course came. 20 minutes later still waiting for it. They ask if I wanted something besides the ribs I was waiting for, sure shrimp please. They both came out and the ribs were terrible. Tasted like they wee boils and slathered with BBQ sauce. Wow, just wow... My gut always says trust Yelp reviews and I ignored it this time... I will not ignore Yelp ever again! This place really is as bad on service as the reviews and stars reflect! We had a baby for crying out loud and our very sweet server had the worse timing EVER! And not to mention the kitchen was overwhelmed (even though there were plenty of empty tables) so the food was soooo slow!! We were there for almost two hours and some of the food was made wrong and overcooked! Had I not been a guest of our group I would have spoken to the manager. And the manager! He was so rude to a person in our party. Appplebees reminds me why I don't ever come to Applebees. Menu and pricing wasn't the issue because we came around happy hour which was great. We weren't even told that it was happy hour from the guy who sat us down. He just asked where we'd like to be seated. Then when we peeked at the menus that's when we realized it was happy hour. The appetizers wasn't too bad given the fact everything took a long time to come out so it was kind of worth the wait. Then after we ordered we had to wait pretty long again but knowing the appetizers were pretty good we had high hopes. So when the food came out our server TAD brought me my food so we just thought nothing of it and that it'll come out eventually. Then we started realizing the party behind us got all their food and by then I was already done eating and my wife was kind of annoyed because all she ordered was a Cesar salad which probably should've been the first thing that came out. And we also ordered wings on the kiosk on the table. So as we continued waiting we just decided to tell TAD to cancel to order of wings and Cesar salad then he said "ohhh I saw empty plates and thought all your food came out" he was sorry and apologized and said he must've got lost running around. We just said it's ok we'll just pay. Then during the laying process they had the nerves to put the tip at 20%. Yea ur not getting a single penny buddy if ur gonna forget our food. It's servers like TAD that is the reason I don't believe tipping is not a thing u do just because u go dine in. We frequent Applebee's and service is normally good, however not this time. Yesterday my family decided to go out to for my daughter's 7th birthday dinner. Multiple times we told the host and staff that it was my daughter's birthday. The server didn't sing happy birthday we had to ask for the birthday ice cream and brownie. When asked if they're going to sing happy birthday we were told he could find staff to sing...funny because for the white family there was staff to sing. We entered a nearly empty restaurant with an almost full horseshoe bar of guests. The hostess, who had 2 buns on her head which I'm sure were a disguise for the the growth of horns, asks if we wanted a table or booth. Seeing they have an ample amount of all, I request a low top table. She tells me the section is closed and wants to put us on a 20 min wait. I asked to see a manager, she rolls her eyes and returns 8 mins later to a full waiting room of people.
