Her instagram dedicated to her cosmetic portfolio.
    Denise T.

Firstly, I just want to start off by saying that this establishment is very, very clean and everyone here is so nice!!! I've never personally gotten tatted by anyone other than the subject of this review but I work a street over and they frequent my job often and are always so pleasant! Secondly, this review will be about Kelly. I have been a client for about two years now and have gotten every cosmetic tattooing service that she offers done from powder brows to freckles! BUT, there's more! Not only does she offer cosmetic tattooing, she is also a portrait tattoo artist with an impressive portfolio that's easily accessible on her instagram @kelly_deano. And, if you're interested, her instagram dedicated to cosmetic tattooing is @kellymclean.pmu. Last period was added for punctuation purposes, it's not actually part of her handle name. Please take the time to check her out, she is SO talented! But not only is she talented, she is also very sweet and extremely attentive and detail-oriented with her work. Before the service, she sketches out a preview and makes sure you like it before she begins. She checks up on you throughout it to make sure that you're comfortable and depending on which service you're receiving, will apply topical numbing cream throughout the process to reduce any pain. When the service is done, she also checks up on you after a couple of days or weeks to ask how your healing is going and I commend her for that as not very many people put that much care into their work. Overall, I am an avid supporter and always refer anyone looking for cosmetic/portrait tattooing services to her. I extend the same recommendation to you all as well. You will not be disappointed! Thank-you so much Kelly.

This place is awesome. Very clean and welcoming. Everyone there is super talented and versatile. Whatever it is you have in mind, someone there can perfect your ideas to create a better tattoo than you initially imagined. You will defiantly leave there beyond happy with the final product. Crooked septum piercing
    Brookelyn D.

My piercer was nice, and my septum piercing was not painful. However, I noticed it was very crooked immediately. He assured me once it healed, it would straighten up, but I was not reassured by that. I went back in after looking in the car mirror, and he again repeated himself and took a picture holding it straight himself to show me... I reluctantly said "ok" and left. I went to a different piercing shop, and the piercer there instructed me to immediately take it out due to it being "really crooked" and wait 3 months before piercing again. He said he had it in the right sweet spot, but must've clamped it crooked or something. Very disappointed. Waited over 3 years to have this done. So $40 later and a hole through my nose, and I now just have a sore nose and 3 months to wait. I also received zero aftercare instructions. I had already done my research, so I had a good understanding of aftercare, but he didnt know that. I was only told I could change the piercing in 2 months.

My first impression of this tattoo shop is it's bright, clean and VERY professional. This place here is serious about their work. Each Artist had a portfolio and depending on what you want done you get the best Artist. I spoke with Christopher while my friend got a piercing. The knowledge these Artists have is amazing. Every question was answered with clarity. I didn't feel once that I was asking stupid questions or that he was too busy to explain things. The piercing room was very organized and EXTREMELY clean. There was a genuine concern for reach customer beyond just business & money. Every Artist I met gave a feeling of trust and that each customer was their priority. The atmosphere was light and clean, relaxing in fact. Other places I've had work done at, the music was so loud you had to constantly repeat yourself. Not at Gold Rush Collective Tattoos. Guys get your needles ready, I WILL BE BACK AND I'M BRINGING MORE WITH ME.

Beto is amazing. My husband was looking for an artist to do a piece for his mother. June of 2017 he did the piece for his mother that took 11 hours. This past weekend he did his other piece that took 16 hours. Beto sat and did both in a full setting because we live ten hours away, otherwise he would have done sessions. My husband and I will follow him until he has all the work done my husband wants. Super nice and clean. If you want a piece to be proud of go to Beto.

Cover up of a really bad NYC skyline tattoo. I love it!

The wait was about 1.5 hours and you must stay on site, so if you're able to find parking, I'd recommend just hang out in your car. Their customer service was really great, and the actual piercer was really cool. It was a very quick and efficient experience. They also have really beautiful jewelry options that are high quality. My friend often has really bad reactions to piercing jewelry and has had no issue with the jewelry at 713. They're pricing is very good too. I'd highly recommend. Also note, the girl who checked us in let us know that the best time to get piercings with shorter wait times is around noon. But either way, I'd recommend coming here even if you have to wait because it's just a pleasant experience.

I paid for at least one of her tattoos at this place as well as some others at other places, and this one is the one that we both agree is the sexiest. And the most professional too. Of all the tats I've gotten her, this is her fave. Of all her tats in total, this is in her top 5 and she has at least 50 (not exaggerating).

He's a good man who does good work. I think I need one more before I'm done for good and will be back. I recommend him to anyone who needs to get pierced.

The place is kept really clean and Johnny even offered snacks during a break. It's a private studio which is nice because I don't really a big fan of random people popping in while I'm being worked on. 5/5 In depth review of the whole process. Objective: Booking periods happen only so often. I submitted my application with two concept ideas. I received my email October 2nd telling me I was selected for the Feb/Mar cycle. I paid my booking deposit then gave them my availability, they worked with my availability and I was scheduled for March 15th. Once the appointment was confirmed I told them I'm willing to switch appointments if necessary to work around his other clients. My appointment date remained the same but my time was moved to 7am which was nice. Johnny reached out February 16 for a confirmation on the exact design (I kept going back and forth sending in different things) and March 8th I got a courtesy email for my upcoming session. I showed up to the studio and Johnny was finishing up the final design. We talked briefly on the different aspects of shading and line work but I told him that I trusted him because he's the artist and he knows what will probably look best for the final piece. The session was about 6 hours with 3 breaks. Snacks and beverages were provided. The studio itself is open with tall ceilings. It has couches and a long meeting table. The tattoo I got cover parts of my chest, my sternum, some ribs, and my upper abdomen. It was a painful tattoo Subjective: The booking process was really nice and communication from his assistant was nice. I think he got a new assistant sometime after my appointment was confirmed, nothing was wrong with his old assistant but his new one Melanie has a much more welcoming online persona. Her personality in person matches it too. Johnny comes off as a casual laid-back guy. He's nonchalant yet he's very interested in his clients. He gave me a sense of autonomy throughout the whole process. In hindsight I gave him very little to work with and while doing the final touches he was asking me what I liked specifically about the reference pictures. I sent him a couple of pictures of different designs by other artists and it was really nice to know he took them into consideration. I've been to an artist before where I brought in printed references and the artist glimpsed at it then pulled out the sketch he already had before I showed up. While I was being worked on the pain was too much for me to handle in the beginning, given the location and design it's expected to hurt. I asked if I could have a break after the main outline was done and Johnny agreed. I didn't feel any mental resistance from him. He wrapped up the area so I could go outside and get some fresh air. After that I didn't have to ask for breaks, Johnny stopped and gave me two more. I'm not sure how but Johnny knew when I was getting reaching my threshold. Given he's had years of experience I'm sure he's picked up a 6th sense on how to read people. After the main outline was done Johnny stopped and asked how I wanted the rest of the session to play out. I told him I'd prefer to do the top part of my tattoo because I knew the bold lines would hurt more and I personally like having the most painful part of a tattoo done first. Johnny is the first artist to give me that option. Johnny himself as a person is hella cool. During the whole session we didn't talk much which was nice because I just wanted to relax (i'm on spring break from nursing school and my life since august has been studying so I actually don't know how to talk to people anymore lmao). From our conversation Johnny comes off as someone who wants to know his clients. This isn't just another transaction for him. He asked me questions to get to know me but he never pushed me to share. We both shared stories and aspects of lives that were interesting. Melanie went out for a bit and offered to pick something up. Johnny asked if I wanted anything which was really nice and I asked for coffee and a sandwich. When she came back I offered to pay and Johnny told me that he'd pay for it ( johnny is just nice af). This is my opinion but getting a tattoo is only cool after you get it. When I'm getting work done I'm being vulnerable to the public. I'm not a fan of getting work done while random people walk by watching me trying to hold myself together. The whole process is just painful and it sucks. I like this studio because it's just him and his assistance. Overall I had a really great experience. It's only been 4 days but I wake up every morning still in awe at his work. Pros: Johnny is cool Melanie is nice final product is dope snacks privacy Cons: that shit hurted
