Got my two fur babies tattooed by Philly. I love how realistic and detailed it came out - it's exactly how I've been imagining in my head! Philly is super friendly and easy to work with, and patient as well. This took about 3-4h and during the time we talked and he let me pick my fav netflix show so it wasn't weird or awk at all. The studio has lots of decorations and is pretty clean. All the staffs I encountered were nice. I will prob come back to get couple more down the road. They are professional and I would recommend this place! read more

I took my girlfriend to get her septum piercing, we research good places and chose this one all was well till she noticed it was crooked, pierced in the (middle) wrong place, and after 3 and a half it's now infected. also just so you know they use bigger needles so it hurts extra the wrong clamps for that anatomy. read more

I worked with Tony the shop owner on a sleeve and I can't put into words how happy I am with it. I flew out to Houston from San Jose, CA because I really loved his work. From emailing him and putting down a deposit to the weeks leading up talking to him about my ideas and what I wanted. I gave him the simple concepts and he executed on it perfectly. The experience overall was incredible always made me feel comfortable, had a tv for me to watch Netflix during sessions, got me breakfast and lunch every day, dealt with my cussing and squirming. 3 straight days of tattooing is not easy at all, it's taxing, painful and something not everyone is built for. But Tony made this an incredible experience, was so kind and patient. His shop is clean and filled with talented artists. I'd highly suggest anyone considering the working with him to Try and get on his books ASAP. I hope to get future work done by him and will continue to suggest others to do the same! read more

LOVE ME SOME MICHELLE (AKA MILLIE). She does my lashes and now my first permanent jewelry piece. Lashes are always on point. Millie knows how to listen to my wants and does whatever it takes to make sure my expectations are always exceeded. Came in on a whim to get my nose pierced! Middle of the day on my lunch break! The place is really clean and organized. The piercer seemed knowledgeable and patient. I had quite a few questions for my first face piercing. It was quick and painless (l had used numbing cream, not provided by them). They give you a print out of after care instructions. Quick simple and painless. About 3 days after my piercing came out while washing my face. I called and they told me to come right in. I went in and a nice guy named Art got my piercing back in for me. Overall really good experience! read more

This is my first time here and my third tattoo. Out of the two studios that I've been to before, I am absolutely amazed by the professionalism and the amazing artwork by Tony. He was able to merge my previous half sleeve and make one amazing full sleeve. I would definitely recommend coming here for quality work. I had a partial cover up and added to an existing tattoo. I went in a couple weeks prior and spoke with him. Philly took a picture of my tattoo and we talked about what I wanted. He texted me the next day with a rendering of what he was going to do. Exactly what I wanted!! On my appointment date, He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Philly did an AMAZING job! Had a really good experience at Timeless Ink! They were very responsive when I expressed my interest in getting a tattoo here. Required a $60 deposit in order to secure my appointment but was able to get one within the week. I went with Philly as my artist because I read that he's good at line work and script. I told him my quote and my vision for the font, and he was very accommodating. He went to the back multiple times to edit the size per my request without complaining. He was very patient and listened to me. The price was also affordable and what I assume is cheaper than other highly rated places in town. I would recommend Philly and Timeless Ink. You won't regret coming here! read more

My review is for Chase and Wes here at the studio. Chase is an apprentice but has still done a great job on my small tattoos, he has great conversation as well. Went to Wes for a piercing special they had and got my second nose piercing. He also special ordered a certain size septum ring for me, which helped me love my septum piercing that another piercer elsewhere had did wrong. Love my piercings and tattoos! read more

Timeless Ink was an experience that I wouldn't forget. Mikel Vu is an amazing artist who takes the time necessary to make the client happy. As soon as I came in I was for my appointment we sat down, made final changes on the tattoo and we were off to the races. The entire experience was pleasant; even it having been my first tattoo. Throughout the whole time he was checking on me to make sure I was fine and we had an enjoyable experience. He went over the time he said he was going to go and spent the time necessary for every inch of the tattoo to look spotless. I returned to Timeless Ink for my third tattoo and of course I was not disappointed! I was very happy with my appointment process through Yelp with the owner Michelle. She was very quick getting back to me and the entire process maybe took about 15 minutes ! Established in 2014.

Originally located on Highway 6 South and moved on to Westheimer in 2016. Arturo Hernandez - Self taught artist and has been tattooing professionally for 8+ years. Excels in realism and still life black and gray, and portraits. Philly Ilagan - from the East side and expanded over to central Houston. Freestyle lettering. 7 years. Tony Ta - Previous shop owner of House of Pain has 14 years of experience. Expertise Japanese Traditional, black and gray as well as portraits. Mikel Vu - 5 years in experience lots of fine line minimalistic tattoos but also excel and enjoys doing anime and comic, cartoon tattoos as well! Lou Huynh - All around artist. During our email communication, I was told that the piece would only take an hour and that the artists hourly rate was $200. The tattoo only ended up taking 30 minutes but when I went to checkout, the artist rang me up for $250 on a design that wasn't modified at all from a web search I did. I'm all for paying for skills and years of service but I was really thrown off that the total was different than discussed previously. I brought that up and she changed it back to $200 but I thought that was a very weird thing to do. Overall, I'd return for piercings, if I wanted more, but I don't think I'd return for a tattoo.

I ended up fainting for the first time in my life probably because I had very little sleep and didn't eat for several hours before but he took care of me and made sure I had my energy up before leaving and walked me out. On top of that, my hair ended up noticeably darker overall than what I wanted in the first place. I also went in for what should've been a simple trim, and way more length came off than I asked for (and I've spent years trying to grow out my hair). At the end of the day, I paid a lot of money and went through multiple appointments, and I still didn't get the color or the cut I asked for. Really disappointing for the price.

My wife and I recently went in to get some work done (her first tattoo and my third) and we were hooked up with Philly. I can't speak enough good things about this guy and his talent. He was incredibly creative and patient with us as we worked through some design ideas and made the whole process a breeze. When we had settled on our designs, we went in and he made some final tweaks while we were in the chair that made them even better. My wife's was done in 10 minutes flat and came out amazing, while mine took two sessions to complete over a few weeks but the attention to detail on both is unrivaled. He was a complete professional throughout the process and worked quick with incredible line and color work. I pitched a tattoo with three parallel lines wrapping around my arm and he nailed it - straight as an arrow and clean. I've gotten more compliments on this latest one and have already referred out Philly and Timeless Ink to some friends considering tattoos. If you are trying to find a good spot in Houston - look no further than these guys. The shop is incredibly clean and all the artists were awesome and talented and easy to BS around with - made the hours spent in the chair pass quick. I can't recommend these guys highly enough. I moved to Houston from a small town over a year ago and did not know where to go to get my tattoo. In a small town you can go by word of mouth, friends and not many tattoo studios to choose from. I did my research on the best reviewed tattoo studios in Houston and Timeless Ink Studio was on the top of the list. The tattoo artist that kept having great reviews was Philly and I was lucky enough to be scheduled for him to do mine. Philly is great in so many ways.....he took the time to listen to my ideas of what I wanted and created a what exactly I was seeing in my vision. He made me feel very at ease, comfortable, and understood when break was needed. Tony Ta is as good a person as he is a tattoo artist, maybe better. For me, working with Tony on my very first tattoo was a GREAT experience, and one I'd been waiting for for almost 30 years! Yep, I'm an old guy and I picked Tony to do my Phoenix after looking for the right guy for decades. And let me tell you he was worth the wait. He was patient with my idea's, even after completely changing what I wanted mid stream. Sat with me and worked on the art piece while we talked shop about family, friends, church, you name it, and he was as calm, cool, and collected as an old soul. I'm honored to have worked with him, will DEFINITELY be back, and already people are tripping over the piece even though we still have another session to finish. I went here for moral support because a friend was get a piercing. I thought it would be good to get a fat but had no idea they go by APPOINTMENT ONLY for tats so I was out of luck because they were booked for the day. I asked about making an appt for the small tat that I wanted and was told that they could squeeze me in! I was super excited and waiting maybe half an hour before I got called in. My wife and I went in to get a tattoo for our anniversary, and we found out about this place through yelp. And I got to say out of all of the tattoo shops that I've been in, I've never felt more comfortable and welcomed. I usually feel out of place when I go anywhere else, but not here. Nam did my tattoo while Lou did my wives and sister in-laws (she tagged along) they're precision and just general knowledge of tattoos was awesome and made me feel like they knew what they were doing. I initially had to reschedule my appt after already waiting for a month(they book up fast, but do you see why tho ) and the front desk was so helpful and kind! I came in for those sessions expecting that by the end of them, my tattoo would be completed. Unfortunately, the tattoo is still unfinished. What disappointed me the most was the lack of communication. There were so many breaks throughout the sessions that I didn't even ask for, and I honestly just wanted to get the tattoo finished and move forward. If there were concerns about the time needed or additional work required, I expected that to be communicated to me. After the second session, the artist, Mike, didn't apologize, didn't explain what would happen next, and didn't tell me whether the additional session needed to finish the tattoo would be covered. I was left having to wonder what the next step was after already paying the agreed upon price. I understand that cover ups can be complicated and sometimes require additional work. What I don't understand is the lack of communication and accountability when the tattoo wasn't completed as originally expected. I would have appreciated honesty and a clear explanation from the beginning rather than being left without answers. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I'm very disappointed with both the service and communication. I hope the shop takes this feedback seriously because customers deserve to know what they are paying for and what to expect throughout the process.
