Tried to buy an explorer 214270 from Gold Watch Co. The experience was seamless, fast, and painless receiving the watch. Did the direct wire route which was the fastest. Dennis was very responsive and did his best to reassure me about the watch and their business practices. When I received the watch everything looked great! or at least I thought until my horologist inspected it. There were 2 minor issues with the watch and I would've kept it regardless of the issues. However, there was a 3rd issue which was a major issue according to my horologist which he recommended me to send back. I took his advice and sent it back. Gold Watch Co was kind enough to give me a full refund after some discussion. The process to pay and receive the watch was faster than to send the watch back and to receive a full refund. That is my only complaint. Overall, I am sad I was not able to get the time piece the way I wanted it and also sad that I had to refund the watch. DO NOT BUY A WATCH FROM THESE CON ARTISTS. I bought a watch they advertised on Amazon (ASIN B01KHIFUPO) as "new, unused" with "original box and warranty card" and manufacturer year "2017" for $9860. I sent an email stating I would take the watch to my trusted watch repairman for verification. I did. He looked at it for 10 seconds with his loupe and said "this is used". The serial number G219709 was manufactured in 2010, not 2017. There was no Rolex warranty card. The crown was dented and scratched. The spring bar was broken and had to be replaced. The entire case was refinished and the back of the case warped. The upper oscillating bridge was discolored from wear and so were the hands. I paid through PayPal and have lodged complaints through them and GoldWatch asking for a 25% reimbursement. No word from PayPal or GoldWatchCo yet. read more

He agreed to the final negotiated price then immediately cancelled the deal. I asked him why it was cancelled and he said it's not, the watch is on hold. That didn't make sense because either him or I are the only ones who can cancel a deal within the 24 hour time limit. Then he said to give him a call. So I did and then he said he can only do the deal but not through the website. He said, " I can do that price but you have to send it to me direct, you know what I mean?" I said no way dude I use PayPal or the website for the protection of my money, not to mention you already have questionable reviews, not a top rated seller and the price is too good to be true. I had a horrible experience with Gold Watch Co. My 32nd birthday is right around the corner and my mother wanted to buy me a Submariner two tone blue which they claimed they have in stock. I was told by Dennis on june 10, 2015 that they have several of those in stock and they will have it polished and ready for me for pick up on the 11th of june. I called on the 11th to ask about what time should I come in to pick up my watch and Dennis said the man who polishes the watches is too busy and I will have to wait another day. I said fine and finally today I called them to make sure the watch was ready. I live in Ft Lauderdale and didn't want to drive to downtown Miami unless I was sure the watch was ready. I was told by a extremely rude salesman by the name of Tavio or Taviar that the watch has been sold yesterday. I asked why they would tell me they would have the watch and then go on to sell it yesterday even though Dennis had committed to selling the watch to me and I had even offered to put a deposit on the watch. Tavio/Taviar told me if im a serious buyer I need to come into the store and hung up on me. I called the Manager Sam and he did apologize and said he will give me a $50 discount for the "Inconvenience". I work in sales and I am shocked at how this company operates. I would recommend everyone to stay far away from a company whose salesmen treat their customers in this manner. If they are like this before the sale then you can only imagine how you will be treated after the sale. My suggestion for the management and owners would be to keep trained and professional Sales Consultants who make decent commissions on every sale so they can provide better customer service and the company doesn't lose sales and receive bad reviews because of their behavior. read more

The last watch they sold me yacht master two tone 37mm did Sam thing, Again told me it came with all the booklets warranty card didn't get the warranty card again couldn't tell me the age of the watch. They did give me some money off to shut me up. My advice consumer beware don't go by their pictures they tell you that's what looks like and it doesn't. They give a line of poo poo in the ad to draw You in. Do like I do take a picture of the ad so you have it keep it for your records so they can take it down and say that's not what the ad ever said like they tried. I bought a Rolex from Gold Watch Co. and it stopped working the day after I bought it worse yet I brought it in to be serviced because it was under warranty and when it was returned back to me I realized right away that it was not the same band I dropped off. It was loose on my wrist and had scratches in places that were not there prior. They denied doing anything of the sort but I know what my band looked like and how it fit my wrist and the condition it was in when I dropped it off.
