But I had a lot of time. So I pulled up my big girl pants and walked in like a boss and ordered a short beer and a big salad. I was super surprised that the beer (zero-zero) was one of the best hazy IPAs I've had in a while and the salad one of the largest. The bartender was friendly but not annoying. And honestly, the interior of the brewery was so rustic and cool. By the time I left there were two other people in the bar! I look forward to bringing my husband back next time.

The old space had a lot more character...and more beer. The beer selection is now very limited compared to what it used to be. They say they partnered with Cultured South to sell both beer and kombucha, but it feels more like Cultured South bought Arches and just has a limited selection of the original Arches beer just so they can still legitimately use the name and draw people to the space. I'm not a kombucha drinker, so the new Arches doesn't really hit the mark for me.

They texted me and called my name over a loudspeaker when my pizza was ready. The space is enormous both inside and out and you can definitely hear your name called no matter where you are. The beer was crisp and delicious. I also ordered a bourbon berry cocktail after the event and it was perfectly balanced. The event space was great. It's quite spacious with a lot of standing room and plenty of chairs. There were bars on either side of the event space, one with only canned drinks and another with drinks on tap. When the event was over, enormous garage style doors were opened in order to make for easy exit of a lot of people. Every staff member that I encountered Was incredibly kind and patient. As someone who travels solo often, I appreciated that the bartender did not bat an eye or question me when I asked to leave my drink with them to go pick up my pizza. There is a ton of parking on the backside, which gives you two free hours. Extra hours are quite inexpensive. There is also access to the beltline on the front side of the brewery. There are multiple other breweries and restaurants, including a food hall within the same parking. You really could spend an afternoon/evening here. He's a great person to get drink advice from and is also super friendly and nice to talk to! There is also an entire beer store that the bar is attached to, where the selection is very expansive. Make sure to check the store and bar hours, though, as Krog Street Market and all the shops close early, especially during the week (9pm when we went).

You can buy beer, wine, hard liquor, and even drinks laced with THC. The quantity/size varies depending on the brand and type as with most beers for instance. But, you can also buy a single can to try out if you're less daring (or should I say more daring -- haha) and want more variety. Though pricing for a single can is a mystery, it starts around $2.99 a can (I think). With its variety, you can try local beers to craft ones. Their shelves are labeled so you can choose whatever's your mood. There are sweet beers to IPA's to some with chocolate. I think that's why I like this spot: variety. At the front where the cash registers are, I believe there's a bar. I haven't experienced this side personally, but I did see people standing around sampling stuff.
