A little hard to find, but we quickly learned that you have to park in the garage (first hour free, $5/hour after) which isn't ideal, but not a deal breaker for us. Brewery #434 Three Taverns was recommended to us by the bartenders at New Realm Brewing down the beltway. And it was a great thing they did because Three Taverns was great. She recommended their signature sour Rapturous, apparently, it's big in the region. I'm not a sour fan so it was just ok to me. I had 2 of their hazy IPA's Juiced on Ponce and Hazy on Ponce. Both were very good. The star overall though was their smoked wings. These were phenomenal! Cool people, cool space and great people watching. read more

This I'd such a cool place. If it's a weekday evening, chill weekend, or a night out, they always have a great vibe and great drinks. The staff is super friendly and approchable (Stephanie was our bartender) had some great recommendations and checked on us a couple times. After hitting several restaurants-that-also-brew-beer in Atlanta, this was a breath of fresh air. The server was great- knew his beer and was friendly. There is a rooftop and a Patio in this spot, tucked next to a fry place where you can order to go from your table. Park in the parking garage nearby and follow signs- you won't be disappointed. I went in on Friday 8/29 and had 2 rounds of beer. My first beer was one I knew I liked on a previous visit. Some of their beers are great but many are below average so on the second round I asked for 2 samples (common practice in breweries) to pick my next round. The server said "I'll give you 1 sample, I don't feel like pouring a second one, I'm lazy." This bartender is often rude so I took the 1 sample and got my second round. Ultimately when paying I decided not to tip since I didn't receive the service I expected. When I didn't tip he asked "did you mean to tip $0?" when I told him I did he asked why. After explaining that it was because of the sample, he laughed and said "I work for tips and this isn't a F**king Baskin Robbins we don't do samples. Where else do you know besides a brewery that offers samples?" I tried to de-escalate by telling him tips are service based and he complained about Trump being president as if that was relevant. I ended up having to de-escalate the situation twice before he finally chilled out, lowered his voice, and said "okay bye." I called the brewery the next business day to report this because I don't like writing poor reviews. I never received a call back after my voicemail to management. Average beer, paid parking, rude bartender with a chip on his shoulder, and disinterested corporate management leaves me no choice but to recommend staying far away. read more

3 Taverns "Imaginarium" is a fun time. The space is relatively small inside but they have lots of covered seating outside. The "imaginarium" also features an outside/"rooftop" patio. Patrons can order beer at window which is connected to a bar. The ordering window is a nice consistent feature of a proper beer garden. I really loved how many unique beers that 3 taverns featured. I tried the "Dairies Milkshake Supreme" and "Slice" (a beer reminiscent of key lime pie) beer. Both beers were incredible and true to the names. Likewise, trying new and unique beers does not feel like a major commitment at 3 Taverns because you can you opt for a 6oz pour which is an option I wish other breweries would utilize. The only downside is that 3 Taverns "Imaginarium" does not necessarily offer a full food menu. At the time of my experience, 3 Taverns was participating in a collaboration with Muchacho. Therefore the menu was a little limited but they had both meat and vegetarian burritos. I ordered the chips and roja salsa. Everything turned out great. 3 Taverns Imaginarium is a great place to sit outside and try new beers. read more

So technically, I haven't been inside the Imaginarium just yet since I keep bringing my pup to visit and she isn't allowed inside. However, I enjoy ordering my beer at the outdoor order window and lounging in one of the outdoor seating areas. They don't validate parking at the Imaginarium for the parking deck, unfortunately. I still remember when parking used to be free... that was a great year or two for sure. My favorite beers I've had are the Ukiyo Rice Lager and the Lord Grey Sour. I also really liked the Tango on Ponce, a juicer version of the classic A Night on Ponce. They have some lactose beers that I'm really into but they are always sold out of - will have to see if I can find them at Hopcity or Tower next time. Definitely need to check out the interior of the Imaginarium sometime but for now, loving the outdoor seating options at the Dairies on Memorial!! read more

I miss-read a review and thought they had kombucha......NOPE. The guy at the counter was nice and quietly told me i could find kombucha at the grocery store. We picked up a 4 pack of peanut butter smores stout. This was literally the darkest and richest beer I've ever had. I want to put it on vanilla ice cream so bad. One of the best things to come out of 2020 was the opening of this spot, so massive kudos to Three Taverns for bringing the beer, imagination and and good times to the city! Three Taverns Imaginarium is located on Memorial Drive and is part of The Atlanta Dairies which is a complex that features this spot, Cold Brew Coffee and Wonderkid. That means you can make a full day out of this place...grab your coffee in the morning, lunch at Wonderkid and a nightcap at Three Taverns! They know what they were doing and they did it right! Three Taverns isn't a big place within itself, the complex itself lends a large green space that is surrounded by tables, cocktail tables, benches and even a hammock where you can hang out and enjoy yourself and beverage. They do have a small indoor tasting room, but due to the volume of folks, the outside is your best bet on most occasions! To help with that and to keep the flow of folks moving, they have a takeout window where you can get full service and order all the beer your heart desires! While the menu shifts a little on occasion, as it does at most breweries, they do have their staples that they keep on rotation at all times. A few of the favorites amongst my friends are the Cream Weaver , Tango on Ponce and Lord Grey. My absolute favorite is the Ukiyo, which a Japanese style rice lager that is absolutely delish and worth a try! While beer is their main deal, they do sling a few meat pies if you get hungry and just need something to snack on. I have yet to try one, but from the looks and murmurs I heard in the garden area, they seem to be tasty! Oh, and I would be remiss if I didn't mention the neon sign that creates a super cute backdrop for photo ops...and you know how folks love their Instagramable neon signs! Overall, this place a great addition to the scene here in Atlanta and really makes the Dairies a cool spot to visit for any occasion. read more

A friend took me to Three Taverns Imaginarium to get a drink and hang out with our pups. I loved it! And I can't believe I haven't been before. It's their second brewery location, located just off the Beltline. The inside has a really cool, kind of elegant vibe. They have a window outside that you can order at, which is really convenient if you have a dog with you! They have several picnic tables outside, as well as a large green space that offers additional seating. I really liked the space! I have had a few of their sours before and enjoyed them. Today, I tried the Opulentus, which is a smoothie sour, and it was really tasty. There is a parking deck right next door that offers free parking for the first hour. Great space and great beer! They have picnic tables outside, tables downstairs, an upstairs area that feels like a lounge with couches, and an outdoor area upstairs too. I went with a big group on Saturday, 3/5/22. I got the Lord Grey and the Saporous. Both were delicious! Light and easy to drink. We got there at 1:00 pm, which wasn't too crowded yet and we were able to snag a table. It got suuuuper packed later on. Beware that parking in the deck is pretty expensive - $15 for 3+ hours. Loved it! It only took us 10 months to discover our new favorite brewery. There are a couple AWESOME beers on tap. The outside area is spacious with fires for warming up at. There are also lots of of tho there shops around for a snack after a beer. It is a really nice place inside too! I liked sitting upstairs in some Comfy chairs. Cool little corner right next to The Eastern! I'm a big lover of sour beers so this location is awesome because it's got lots of fun flavors you might not find at other breweries. Tonight I had the Strawberry Luxure and it was delicious. It has a light wheat taste, the perfect amount of strawberry flavor, and a very soft sour flavor as well. If you're not normally a sour person you should definitely give this beer a try! It's a little bit pricier for a 12 oz pour ($7) than other breweries like Firemaker, but honestly worth it for a good beer. I also love how inside this location the brewing tanks are exposed which gives it a cool industrial vibe. There's a lot of good looking beers on tap so I can't wait to come back and try more! read more

They love dogs here! Outstanding spot to hang out at with friends. They have a great Art Deco decor inside and a fun garden area outside. It makes any season feel like summer. They do trivia on Monday and have plenty of other stuff happening. If you like dark beers (ie. Stouts), try the Secret Passage. It's a milk stout with vanilla, amburana wood, and lots of chocolate flavor. Get ready for a long wait if it's last 4pm or so- I waited for 10 minutes or so. January 17, 2021 Third stop today as we arrived safely home from a weekender in the Georgian Alps. I think we saved the best for last. I've run by this area and didn't realize we had such a phenomenal Brewery hidden behind this fortress of condominiums which actually opens up to an amphitheater like plaza with fire pits and chairs or just plop yourself down with a blanket. It's basically a nice sound stager. The brewery is nestled like a DJ in the far left pocket of the plaza, and boasts an upstairs patio with inside seating upstairs and downstairs too. The beer handles all have the number 3 on them...for Three Taverns. Sorry I had to ask. Doh. Anyway, the list of beer is quite long, but thanks to my good beer aficionado Mark C., I knew exactly what to ask for, and went for two Crossfire Hurricane - imperial NEIPAs made with Walmea, Rakau, and Mosaic Hops. This thing was crazy good. At 8%ABV watch out. We rounded out the night with House of Haze - a lighter hazy IPA but also serious contender - made with Strata and Mosaic Hops. Where we sat was inside, upstairs at one of the round tables with comfy chairs. The decor is dark, wood paneling painted black with hints of gilded lines. The walls were a chocolate milk color. Fancy shmancy. Some of the art is a little weird but you get the feeling the imagineers are hard at work here. Besides a wide variety of beers there are hard seltzer's too. Just about something for everyone here. Very thankful this place is in our back yard so to speak and we cant wait to come back. read more

2020 has been all sorts of weird and crazy, but Three Taverns Imaginarium is one good thing to come out of it! This place is super COVID safe. There is so much outdoor space, free parking, dog friendly, multiple unisex bathrooms, what's not to love?! This magical beer oasis is located in the Atlanta Dairies complex. Parking is free right now in the garage but I'm waiting for the day to come when they finally start charging. Park on the 2nd level and theres a short walkway to the plaza. There is a big green space in front of the brewery with multiple seating/standing options and tables, fire pit, etc. There is a one-way beer window with a socially distanced line and they require masks when at the window and if walking around inside. At each table there is a QR code you can scan for that day's beer menu. The menu changes pretty much every day and sometimes they run out of stuff so if you see something you like I would get it! Some of my favorites are the Bora Bora IPA, Paleton pale ale, Pometheus sour, and Double Smack stout. There is also an upstairs which has bar seating overlooking the courtyard, picnic-style tables and a cozy lounge seating area inside. There are bathrooms and bars both inside upstairs and downstairs but the bar upstairs is more limited. I've only been on weekdays and the seating has been first come. They do not have food, but Wonderkid is right across the way for take out to bring over! We have done that and also got take out from Taqueria Tsunami to eat there with our beers. read more

This place was delightful, even amidst covid and us going on a chilly day. The brewery is located in a cute area of Reynoldstown with several other restaurants and a ton of parking nearby. Indoor and outdoor seating was open, but there were many benches, tables, standing counters etc in a courtyard so plenty of room to spread out. They also have a rooftop deck which we sat at. In terms of brews, I vividly remember the Lord Grey for being so interesting. I like tea and I like sours and it accurately fits the description! A really delightful and light sour. I also had the Dairies Milk Stouts, and it was good, but I'm more a fan of sours than stouts. I really appreciate the experimental nature of their drinks and their attempt at actually pushing boundaries to create interesting, limited flavors. Also, another thing I really enjoyed were their meat pies? They have them in a little shelf on the counter but they're really good! We had a curry meat pie and a sausage roll. I'm always a big fan of breweries that have snacks to go with their drinks and this hit the spot, especially because it was so chilly. Would definitely recommend stopping by! This might be one of my new favorite brewery spots! Three Tavern just opened a new location in Reynoldstown and its called Imaginarium! (It is right next to wonderkid) Not only is there a lot of free parking but this place has so much outdoor space to properly have a social distance hang with friends! They also have a rooftop that looks super cute but it was full so we didnt try to go up! They have so much to choose from with ample of sours, IPAs, and stout options! Everyone can find something they would enjoy! The staff is also so so so nice! Jordan was the brewmaster and he helped me pick from the long list of beers and i really was grateful for his knowledge and his kindness! Though they dont have any food, you can bring food from other places which is what i did with my friend! Came here for a beer group Meetup and really liked this location. Note, it is a bit difficult to find this place. It's in a multi use area adjacent to the Eastern and right next to the Atlanta Dairies apartment building. There's outdoor seating as well as inside, upstairs and downstairs. There's also a bar upstairs but a bartender only mans it if it's busy. This craft brewery has lots o' sours!! Which I have really gotten into lately. Mostly fruity sours, so not super tart. Of course, IPAs are very popular and they have plenty of those too, and other beers. They have several beers on tap, at least 15. They are a brewery and not a good place. They had a pop up food vendor that was stationed outside while I was there. And they sell some NZ hand pies. Great service and cool location means I'll be back! read more

This is a cute little brewery near Atlanta dairies! The space has really nice outdoor seating a quaint indoor area, but parking can be pretty sparse. There's a garage that's a 5 min walk and that you also have to pay for. The beer is pretty good, you can get a small and regular size for pretty reasonable prices. My husband and I tried the Rapturous (raspberry sour) at a neighboring restaurant for dinner and just had to check Three Taverns out! The Rapturous was by far our favorite. We really enjoyed all of the sours. We went back a second day because we enjoyed the atmosphere and bartenders so much. I had the Kolsh and my husband had the Night on Ponce IPA, which he loved!
