She really takes ownership of this place and is invested in fostering a safe place for our children to learn and flourish. Ms. Tianna and Ms. Yolanda have been great additions to La Petite Academy as well. I watched on the camera app (which is very grainy and has no sound) and the teachers would literally just ignore him. There's no cameras outside and I had enough of this place when I surprise picked him up and he was sitting outside in the heat next to the door scream crying and no one was paying him any attention. They said he had been crying the whole time. I literally can't believe it. Pick him up! Nurture him! Help him feel safe! Instead they took away his stuffed animal puppy and just let him cry. Sending my 18 month old boy to this place is my biggest regret as a parent so far.

This place hasn't changed a bit and is still such a great center. My husband and I moved outside of 1604 and we have toured other daycares closer to home, but nothing compares to Little Learning Center. So we make the daily commute for this center and it is so worth it. As a teacher, I was also very pleased and very impressed to hear about the new curriculum that they'll be using to help get their kids ready for primary school. Once again, very pleased with the Little Learning Center, their staff, and their child care facility! My husband and I are looking forward to many new memories for the next few years with our baby going here! Valerie, Diane, Lucy, Rosie, Megan, and Millie are all top-notch, but the other staff members seemed wonderful as well--we just didn't get the opportunity to meet them all. Mikayla and Heather helped me with all of the ins and outs and took care of everything on the legal side so all I had to do was make this one visit. They were so sweet and had a lot of compassion. You know you have an excellent day care when, after a year and a half, you tell the daycare your…read morechild is leaving and the staff cries. From the first day my son arrived I have had the most wonderful experience. The staff is supportive, they give advice when you need (and none if you don't). They truly care (I will run into daycare staff when I'm out and about and they will run up and my son will run to them right back). They are also reasonably priced and by far the most bang for your buck. My son comes home with far more knowledge than I would ever think to teach him (simple things like how I put on his own jacket, how to speak some sign language, etc). He has incredible friends who he hugs goodbye to at the end of the day. Socially, academically, and psychologically this was by far the best choice we could have made for our child. Update: I just read the bad review on here. Because I went there for quite a while I can safely say there's no way that review is real or it was written by a new momma with no experience being a momma. They give you a list of things to bring on your first day (I still have it in my junk drawer) and crib sheet is on there. In fact, you get it with an entire welcome packet. The nursery is ALWAYS dark during nap time. That's because-wait for it-it's nap time! The floors are super clean and they don't even allow shoes in the rooms-they're strict about it, trust me- I forgot once and I was quickly reminded :). Are the babies supposed to have bottles in their cribs? Then their cribs would be dirty and they'd get ear infections and you'd probably complain about that. There is absolutely nothing more fun to me than when my babies are dirty. It's because- again, wait for it- they're babies! If they're dirty then they are playing, and eating, and having fun, and most importantly learning. Shouldn't you be caring about that? Again, it's still my favorite place ever and I miss it all the time.
