Came through the drive-thru an hour before close and ordered a two piece catfish and kids tenders meal. The kids meal was fine but my two piece catfish looked like a one piece catfish cut in half and fried up into two pieces. Review is about the Crowley location only. We have been here several times. It has been our experience most of the time that we do not get the items we ordered; and it is too late when we get home. The chicken is really good and so is the coleslaw and the rolls. It is frustrating to order two breasts and a family coleslaw, and get home with a three piece dinner with a small coleslaw. The unit off of south Hulen in Fort Worth gives us what we order. read more

Wow, what great service this location has!! I went through the drive-through, and not only was I greeted with a smile, the girl had me check my drink to make sure it tasted OK because she said it came out a little watery and wanted to make sure I didn't drive off with a yucky drink. Who does that these days?? (Kudos to you, Antaniya!) My order was 100% correct and steaming hot. Overall, I gave this location 5 stars for my visit today. I order from here at least once a week but I usually go through the drive thru. They get my order right and the food is hot and delicious. My husband ordered food to be delivered today. They forgot the Mac & cheese and green beans. Called the store and the "GM" said she did not have any perfect people working for her. Good to know, but I paid for items I did not receive and expect a full refund. She was more than happy for me to drive to the store and pick up the missing items but I ordered delivery for a reason. We ordered on Door Dash and was missing a whole meal and family size poppers. Needless to say I was upset having to drive to the store and mess with it since I paid to have it delivered. First time to this restaurant. My wife and I went here after church Sunday night. We both ordered the ckn tender plate ditch fries. The service was great. The food was hot and fresh. I'm a big eater and the 4 piece meal filled me up just fine. The dining room and restroom were both clean and maintained. It was also nice to see the manager walking the dining room and talking to customers. We will go back here again. read more

The food here was overall okay, but service not up to par. Went here with my parents. Ordered 3 meals. It took over 20 minutes to get any food and when we got it, no rolls, my moms order was wrong, and it was literally just thrown on a plate. Our order was given to us after several customers after us got theirs. While I'm generally understanding if things needing time to make, when I asked the girl at the front was short with me and just said they were out off rolls. I asked if we would be able to get any and eventually another woman said in maybe another 5 to 10 minutes along with a side I ordered. Even had they warned us they were slowed down at the beginning, or handled it with decent customer service, we would honestly have been okay. However at a fast food location time should be a consideration when taking a customer's order and if a problem or question comes up, it should be handled with a service mindset, not being short with customers. If a customer is waiting for over 20 minutes and passed by multiple customers that arrived later that should be looked at as well. Decentish food if you get what you ordered, but terrible service. read more

There are lots of good chicken places in the metroplex, and Golden Chick is one of the places that consistently delivers. Although my selection is limited to the chicken tenders and sides due to my dislike of chicken on the bone, I always enjoy my meal here. TIP: If you like a little kick in your chicken, ask for it spicy, and be prepared for your taste buds to cheer in delight. Their sweet tea is comparable to my favorite sugar/sweet tea joint, Chicken Express, which we all know is really diabetes in a cup. It's so good! The yeast rolls are always hot and yummy and its a shame they don't give you two, but you can always purchase more. All in all, a good spot to get your chicken tender fix. Ok, the food is pretty good here but the service is absolutely awful. I quit going to the drive thru because they screwed up my order several times. Today we went inside to place an order and waited at the counter for 10 minutes, and the workers behind the counter basically ignored us. There were 4 customers in the place (already served) and not a single car in the drive thru. There were 3 people behind the counter, 2 of them were standing around doing nothing, and the third worker who looked to be packing a call in order said something to one guy and nodded towards us and he just walked to the back. we ordered food got home our order was wrong! then we try to eat. the chicken and okra is so hard we literally could not eat it. we threw it in the trash and I called the restaurant. Golden Chick 1, Chicken E 0 Sides - I was excited about the mac n cheese...if they could pull this off, this would definitely put them ahead in the Golden Chick/Chicken Express Showdown. Come on - admit it - when you hit up KFC you can't help but have that weird orangeish mac n cheese... it's like a little piece of the 80s. So imagine how disappointed I was when I got this bland, cold, runny elbow pasta. Still gagging a little. Mashed potatoes with gravy had like a drop of gravy on them. I know the staff must have had Thanksgiving at some point and understood the importance of gravy... standard potatoes. Okra was sad. Rolls were about even between the two. Well, well, well: Crowley has a new place to eat and its great! The roast chicken is truly delicious. The meat is juicy and the marinade has just enough spice to make it flavorful and pleasing. Also, they offer healthy sides like fruit salad or green salad in addition to the traditional fries, okra, potatoes (fries, mashed, & salad), green beans, or cole slaw. I haven't tried the fried chicken, but if its half as good as the roast chicken then nearby competitors might be in trouble! read more

Approximately 1:07 pm, Saturday 12/21/19. The food is always solid and fast coming out but the young kid working the drive through is very unwelcoming and acts like he hates his job. If the chicken wasn't so good and convenient I would definitely take my business somewhere else. Management needs to teach these kids how to be in the service business. read more

Finally got my food and went to my destination to eat it. Mash potatoes was the worst I have ever seen. Watery and runny. The chicken just didn't have the right taste. Couldn't even get them out of the box without the breaking falling off and falling apart. Jal bombers were the only thing good with my meal.
