Every time I go, they are very patient while ordering our food and very friendly at the window, picking up our food, making sure we have condiments the right drinks and the right order. The food is always fresh and A1. Very friendly atmosphere and fast service. read more

Pricing at this place is reasonable, burgers are big, tastes good. Feels like a small mom and pop shop but optimized. The customer service has been good the MANY times I've came here, 0 complaints until today. I Waiting in line to order and a lady was in front of me, only had cash, a $100 dollar note with a $41 bill. The cashier said they had a shift change and didn't have change. This part, I get it, I've been in a similar boat with cashiering. The PROBLEM I had was how the MANAGER handled it, a young Hispanic dude with glasses. First time here! The service was very friendly and pretty quick! I got the #1 it came with a big drink and fries, my brother in law got the steak sandwich combo and his drink was smaller? Kinda threw us off so I had him ask why the drinks were different sizes? The employee said that the larger drink automatically comes with the #1 combo! So that was interesting for sure! We did not know what to expect from them as it' was our first visit ever! The double cheeseburger was so tasty and really hit home with the added jalapeño's, I had eaten over 2/3 of the burger before I realized it? Normally eat half and have the leftovers for dinner later! Well I still had the leftovers later just not as much as I would have liked! The fries were warm but soggy and had the right amount of salt to them I personally would like the fries a bit more crispy but they were not no ice cold at least! So took off a star for the fries but they did heat up nine in the air fryer later on with my left over burger! My only complaint is that I want another burger like for real! But the universe has something else planned for that as I went out to start my car and it just wouldn't turn over? So Griff's will have to wait as it's a bit of a drive from weatherford to this location but I most certainly will be doing that once my car is working again! It was that good! Maybe griff's should come to weatherford or even Hudson's oaks I know you all would have a thriving location here in weatherford as we mostly have chicken places and some burger places but griff's tastes so much better! Haven't had a Griff's burger in over 40 years and when I did it brought back great memories of good flavor!

I spent almost $25 and didn't receive my food. on top of that my order was completely wrong. I called to speak with a manager no answer.

We had to work at the cattle barn which is within walking distance of this location. I had never had Griff's before so this was a good opportunity to try it out. I tried calling ahead or ordering online so that it would be ready when I got there because I was working but they could not get through either one so I decided to walk over and order. I ordered and got my order within five minutes and was on my way back to work. I was definitely happy with this fast food style restaurant as it hit the spot .. read more

So I grew up in Dallas in Pleasant Grove. So I'm used to the OG Griff's on Buckner and the Mesquite location off Military Parkway. Been going there since 1994. This was my first time at this location. Definitely not the Griff's I'm used to. I'm new to Ft. Worth so was super excited to have something from my childhood nearby. I drove the 15 mins from my house to check it out. I ordered and didn't wait long in the drive thru. Told them Mayo on the burger. I got mustard. Fries were soggy. Undercooked and limp. Unappealing. Maybe it was a bad day. Hopefully it gets better. I'll give them another try in the future but todays visit wasn't the best at all. read more

Went to have lunch today. Which we come in all the time. We were the only customers in the place. 20 minutes into waiting I went to check to see where the food was. The same guy that took my order said Do you need to order something . Me" no I never got our food. He turned around to the cook. No I didn't have that order. I saw them drop the onion rings and steak finger when I order them. But of course the steak fingers were not there. So then they drop them. A few minutes later cook said check the steak fingers . Anyway they finally took those out of the grease . 28 minutes has past. Give me the food. Onion rings that were suppose to me extra crispy were totally burnt. Fries in the steak finger box ice cold. I've heard how good the food was here for many years and decided to visit the location since I was in the area. There was a wait in line in the drive thru. The restaurant was not open for dining in. We waited around 20 minutes before we could place our order. Once our order was placed there was another 5 minute or so wait for the food. When we arrived home, we found that the drink order for one of the orders was incorrect. The hamburgers and fries were good and of a good size. I was full after eating my meal. But the burgers are just as good as the ones down the street in the RO (that's River Oaks for the uninitiated). It's really the whole package. The burgers taste just right and even the regular hamburgers are enough to fill you up. Only one size fries though. The ICE though. It's the best. The drinks aren't made for drinking through a straw. One of the best burger spots around. Get the triple it's worth it. One of my regular spots in a world of burger choices. This place is where fast food truly meets the backyard burger. Griff's Burger use to be my favorite place to go. These days I avoid going here. Their prices have ridiculously increased by at least 40%. Giant Hamburger combo is still a good deal but their single small burgers are $2.49 which is way too much for that size. Hell I can go to Burger King and get two small cheeseburgers for $2.39. I understand pandemic and shortage of supplies may be the reason however other burger places have not increased their prices like this place. If I ever come back here I will only get the combo but will not buy single small cheeseburgers anymore until their prices come back down. In the meantime I will take my business elsewhere. read more

drive thru service not good. The cashier handed me my change I said "thank you" they did not respond. Out came my drink and straw. Again I said "thanks". They responded "uhhum". Third time out came my burger and fries. Third time I said again "thank you". Same response "uhhum". Please help your fellow worker to acknowledge properly. It doesn't hurt to be nice. Without customers you wouldn't have a job. As for the manager that was too busy to take my call (I heard you tell the person that I was speaking with that "you were too busy to take my call"). These guys do it right.....thick meat patties, lightly grilled and greased bun, fresh veggies, and lots of cheese make this burger one you can sink your teeth into. In typically 1950's diner fashion the sides are Fried to crunchy perfection (Foodie Tip- ONION RINGS.....that's all that needs to be said on the topic) and even the rich syrupy fountain drinks taste nostalgic. I ordered the kids hamburger combo, which included a small hamburger, tator tots, and a drink. The hamburger was tasty, and the tator tots were crispy and also delicious. I asked for barbecue sauce on the side, which they gladly provided. The price for the kid's combo was very reasonable at $3.29 before taxes - you cannot beat their prices. All of the wait staff was very nice. They came by my table several times asking if I would like a drink refill, and they also picked up my tray. I wish they had a drink refill station so you can get your own refills, but they were very prompt in seeing that refills were provided. They also accidentally gave me french fries instead of tator tots, but they gave me the french fries for free as well as the tator tots that I ordered, and they were very nice about it. I strongly recommend Griff's. Overall, it is a basic no-frills fast food hamburger restaurant, but the food tastes very good and the wait staff is very, very nice and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. I have loved this place for nearly 40 years but today I had the worst experince I've ever had in a fast food drive thru. First they gave me a sack of food that looked as if it hand been rifled thru several times, burger obviously wrapped and unwrapped several times, no cheese on the burger[ double giant combo w/cheese] all the fries dumped out in the bottom and only 1 meat patty, not to mention totally cold food. then charged me 10.81 for a total they corrected to 10.06 . Did not take the 10.81 off and I'm presently being charged essentially double. I live 22 miles away so I have to go back to get it straightened out, pitiful read more
