Surprising! My son was visiting and he seems to always crave GC as he now lives in another state. He says they are different. Better where he lives. I guess we'll have to check it out. I wasn't expecting much to begin with, so maybe that's why I am surprised. Price was still a bargain considering the selection of rather tasty food (it was all pretty good); and, the fact that you can do just what I did, have a bite or two of just about everything before you get full. Then, you can go back for more . . . again. And don't forget to grab a plate of desserts so you can taste those too. A rather sketchy customer crowd, but it is a buffet. Please don't forget to leave the table servers a buck or two. They seemed to be putting in a pretty good effort. Dicks

Let's face it, no one leaves a buffet feeling happy about the decision they just made. This place will prove it to you. It is a solid 3 to 4 star buffet. Food is 100% nothing special but it's expected. Really nice salad bar. Few vegetarian options. Limited vegan options. Very nice customer service. It's doesn't get too busy. Parking lot is huge. Spacious seating. Quantity over quality. I'd go back ‍

    What's missing? Silverware

Arrived at four Parking was a piece of cake walked in. I was only the second one in line place empty I asked for the senior discount and I wanted to use my rewards program. Good luck with that girl had no idea so it looks like I'm gonna have to try to scam my receipt or enter the barcode when I'm done. I went to get a plate. There were only two left. I grabbed them both made myself a salad. I guess it's early but no fish no steak no nothing so I grabbed some mashed potatoes and some of the bourbon chicken The bourbon chicken is usually delicious. Not today. You could tell it's been a while. After finishing my salad, I went back to the food court looking for Fish. There wasn't no so I waited and I waited and after about eight minutes, I finally found somebody and asked she immediately went and got some. I also inquired about the other food coming out it appears there only two employees working tonight. The young woman taking the money as a cashier and one person clearing tables. When I first sat down, a young man brought me a glass of water no straw I'm finishing my meal and I'm still waiting on that straw I came here because I enjoy their white fish and their sweet potatoes. As I said earlier I had to wait forever to get the white fish and there were only a couple of pieces. I've been over half an hour and I still haven't seen a sweet potato I also haven't seen a steak or any other things they normally have and I'm still waiting on that straw. I finally went to the register. There were three other people complaining that they didn't have steak. They didn't have sweet potatoes. They don't have any of the normal foods. It was also a guy there testing for E. coli at that point I simply asked for a refund, which they gladly gave me they admitted they were shortstaffed. I only saw two people working very sad.

That brown stuff is supposed to be meatloaf...and patrons are expected to eat it (barf)

Some background, I'm not a buffet person so I was not expecting to go in and get a QUALITY meal but I was expecting quantity (key word BUFFET) or at least some type of EDIBLE food for the $70 I just paid for 2 adults and one small child...yes around $70 since I'm rounding. We went because this is where some friends wanted to go because it was "good"and not "too bad" for a buffet. Unfortunately, they too said this was horrific and it was not like this the one off time they came. In truth, this is the worst restaurant experience I've had post Covid and that's saying something...I don't even know where to begin but here goes: We arrived around 6:20pm on 3/9 with maybe 3-4 parties ahead of me yet somehow it took the manager 20 minutes to help everyone in line pay...ok fine; they were short staffed and scrambling. You could tell it was amateur night, a server walked up to the manager and handed him a cup of forks and said "that's all we have" (no forks?) the manager was working the register and kept running off. This is peak dinner time and the forks was an omen of things to come. We pay and seat ourselves and surprise! there is no edible food, actually there is no food just old empty caked on trays and scraps. Empty tables of past diners are piled with dishes all over the restaurant. Only empty caked on trays that you can tell have been sitting for a few hours are available. Dried pasta noodles from heat lamps and entrees? One piece of pork that you can tell has been sitting. Two fried chicken drumsticks count them 2, 1 gone...I thought ok, more food is coming (it's a buffet right?) I asked if they had pizza because that's what my kid wanted and they said sure in 15 minutes but I waited for 20 min. I kept walking around with an empty plate in my hand hoping to find food I could feed my kid. I finally saw some peas and corn that looked ok and gave that to my child while I waited for the pizza. Again, I keep looking around and nothing was getting replaced. I keep telling myself they are short staffed food. I finally see some steaks getting thrown on the grill and thought ok steak and I tell everyone in my party because we are all waiting for food to come out. I wait another 15-20 min and we get little 4 oz meat pieces that are charcoal on the outside and are blue, raw inedible on the inside. I go back and ask to have my piece grilled some more. They do, I get it back and the meats still raw so I give up. I finally see the pizza...I grab 3 slices from the 1 med size pizza put out for my kid....it's barely cooked enough to serve and makes frozen pizza look gourmet. My kid says "sorry mom it's not good". I walk around again, oh they have finally brought out 1 tray of new mashed potatoes. I grab some I take two bites I leave them inedible. I walk around again, meanwhile they keep charging unsuspecting souls money to eat whatever scraps they have....even the ice cream machine is down, salad bar? they have iceberg lettuce in the salad bar along with empty vessels. It's dishonest and deceptive, now I'm really upset. I walk up to the manager and say you have No Food. His response, it's coming and I say it's been an hour there is no food, I've been waiting. He looks confused and says an hour? I reply, yes and I go grab my receipt to prove it. The people look confused probably wondering if I'm being serious? They look around and realize it's true. I continue to complain to the manager and explain how long I've been there how long I've waited and his response "I can't do anything you've been here too long! I tell him of course it's been long I keep getting told food is coming and you keep letting unsuspecting folks in! "his response I don't care tell corporate". I think I will thanks right after my yelp review. Be fair and warn customers about the situation and let them decide if they want to pay full price for your scraps! This is unsafe and borderline theft. Your restaurant was filthy, "clean" plates were dirty and the whole establishment looked disgusting. I'll cut my losses and take this as a blessing in disguise. Who knows how sick it would have made me, but I still think about letting my kid eat your stale peas and corn because she was just too hungry. I read some reviews posted the same day I went to this joke of a buffet and guess what? Patrons did get sick. AND people complained there was no food. I didn't get an apology , a discount, a refund nothing from this incompetent Manager whose last name is Chen. All he gave me was attitude and rudeness as if I was trying to swindle him, HA! Don't believe me, check out the video and pics and you decide. This was the second and last time I ever set foot in a golden coral no matter who asks me to give it a chance. I'm happy for the people in line that left and happy for the few that got a refund. Don't even try to do better, Golden Corral is a health hazard, just shut it down.

Food is cafeteria grub. There's a good amount of selections and you'll probably find something you like but it's just all very low quality, salty or greasy foods. They were extremely understaffed and tables weren't being cleaned for 10-20 minutes at a time. People and kids can be quite ruthless here. During peak times expect to wait a little bit to get a table. There's a senior discount that's 90 cents cheaper so why even have one at all? Food: 3/10 Vibes: 3/10 Service: 4/10 Value: 6/10

We've been a couple times since my last review and it's still a good place to visit. The food is usually pretty fresh and the restaurant is clean. We like to hit breakfast on the weekend when we almost have the place to ourselves.

Very little selection, and what they had was running out. Been to a few Golden Corrals... this was definitely the worst.

This page says it is open and says it is close. Which is true?

There's a 3 day pay or quit on the door. It says they owe over $145,000 in back rent and eviction proceedings have started. I have a feeling they're not reopening any time soon, if ever.

    This location still closed?

Yes, it is. Not sure if/when it will open again.

I heard you can just order one plate for dine in? Is this true?

there are only dine in , no take out orders and it is a buffet, so only one plate is necessary/ just go back… Read more

When I arrived, the restaurant was packed. I had to check in and take a number, but they managed to seat us in under 10 minutes. If you're not into crowds, I would definitely avoid Sunday's. The place smells decent, decently easy to find so no issues there. Cleanliness: the Buffett definitely needs some upgrading and cleaning. The rug smells and feels sticky to walk on, the counter area was clean but the ice cream section needed a deep clean, the cones were out of the packing and stale. The sprinkles were covered in ice cream and all over the place. The machine was covered in dried ice cream and caked on. I did not go into the restrooms, so I am not sure Food: cold. Everything except for the hibachi I got was cold. Shrimp, pork, chicken, all cold. They have an okay variety of deserts but other than the coffee and orange ones they were pretty bad. The flavor of the food was good, but the temperature of it was what really grossed me out and worry about food poisoning. It was during dinner at around 4pm so crab legs were included. My daughter devoured them and so did I. Best part of the buffet. Customer service: the waiters were very nice and kept our table clear. As soon as they notice we had our empty plates they would come around and grab them. I did notice and maybe it was just for that moment but we did get different waiters just grabbing our plates. Maybe they are doing a system where everyone waits on every table. Whatever they were doing it worked! We did mention at the end that our food was cold after we had paid and all because we were asked how we liked it. She did apologize and told us we should have brought up sooner so they could warm it up. That since it was slow the food gets cold. It was nice she apologized and all, but working in the food industry myself it is not any of the customers job to remind you to keep an eye on food temps. And you're supposed to keep food hot. Regardless they were nice. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it? No. $60 for two adults $9 for my 4 yr old and $5 for my two yr old. So basically $80 for a family of 4 for cold food. Flavor was good though. So if you want to try it maybe you're lucky and get hot foods

The person who answered the phone was so kind and helpful. She advised they give a complimentary slice of their cheesecake for the birthday celebrant but didn't sell whole cakes. She informed me about the 85 Degree bakery and Stater Brothers next door. They will gladly store the cake. The menu was a little difficult to understand but once our waiter , sorry I forgot his name explained the combos vs AlaCarte and how much would feed a party of 5 We explained one person ate like a bird 2 of us were starving and 2 were medium hungry. He asked us what we wanted in terms of seafood. We all wanted crab one person didn't want shrimp etc etc. he advised us to start with 3 (bags) boil combos all with crab ,comboed with other seafood to make it a variation. Plus add an extra portion of crab. Well it was perfect. We did 3 different spice variations and shared The table is lined with plastic. A roll of paper towels. Plus the tools. Cracker and extractor. And gloves. Omg we had a blast eating the delicious food. Everything was fresh and just scrumptious. We had one bag with the garlic and old bay. Mild (I love heat but read mild had a kick. ). Which is did but was overall a mild kick. I was slurping the juice out of the clam shells it was so gosh darn good. Our waiter and the rest of the staff checked on us. Refilled our tea and water. We made a pretty good mess of things. Best part is we didn't have to clean up. Our waiter was so thoughtful, when it was time to have cake and open presents he invited us to use a clean table. He brought us plates and forks for the cake too. The restaurant space is kinda different. You walk into the restaurant and you're in a pretty large foyer You move through it to a gigantic dinning area with dozens of tables and booths. It has a huge high ceiling and appears more like a banquet size area. There were several other diners but because of the size of the restaurant it didn't feel crowded. We were trying to figure out what the space was used prior to Crab Pub. It has an Asian twist decor (marble deco columns) but decorated with fishing type props and decorations. It looks like service stations encircled the outer edge of the restaurant. Thinking it was a buffet place in the past. We loved the playlist music Thinking it was club like 80's 'maybe 70's original hits. Thankfully , No piped in cover instrumentals. So it was extra fun to get down and dirty eating and listening to great music. Bathrooms were clean All n all it was reasonably priced (we did Snow Crab as opposed to the King Crab that was pricier ). Recommend for families , and friend groups. Unsure if first date would be good as you have to get into the boil bag and it'll get messy. I hope to come back soon to try more combo seafood and different spice offerings
