Visited here on Easter Sunday right at 12pm.i had a reservation but decided to just get in line. It went quick. I will start out the positives. The hostess was very friendly and sat us in the back. Isaac was our server and he was great!!! My daughter's first time at a Brazilian steakhouse and he explained the process very clearly. Since we were part of the first round of customers, all the meats came out pretty fast. They cook the meat medium rare to medium (which is completely fine with us). They do have a decent salad bar. They added eggs and bacon today. Maybe, for Easter? I really liked the tritip, seasoned sirloin, most of the filet mignon, sausages, family said shrimp was delicious. Now with the cons. After the first round of meat, we hardly saw much of them again. Maybe, in spurts. We would try to make eye contact but I guess it was kind of busy but still not an excuse for the gaps in service. Some of the meats were salty which we just ate more of the unlimited mashed potato. For unlimited meat and salad buffet, we didn't even stay long. I have gone to 3 other Brazilian steakhouses and this one is my least favorite. This one just doesn't live up to the other ones. I felt the price tag was outrageous for the quality given. I have never had to wait so long to be attended to either in other restaurants. My husband did not care for the place at all. My daughter was bleh about her first time. We just expected better than what we received. Isaac was the best part of our visit but I doubt we will ever come back.

Came here for a birthday dinner and I was so surprised there weren't too many hot dishes. It was about 4-5 hot dishes and the rest were salads or cold items. They had various meats available and had to wait awhile in the special items such as the shrimp. The waiters were very helpful in getting the meat we requested.

My nephew was visiting during his birthday month, and when we asked him what he wanted to eat, he said steak. We asked if he had ever been to a Brazilian steakhouse, and he hadn't, so we decided to take him to Texas de Brazil. I remember seeing a Costco deal while we were shopping. We've also tried Fogo de Chão and Rei Do Gado in San Diego, so we were curious to see how this one compared. I would list it in this order: 1. Fogo de Chao: $69 for Dinner/weekend Our favorite! Service is outstanding. Ambiance is more intimate. They offer more hot foods, and the salad bar has more items. I prefer the pineapple served warm, which Fogo de Chao does so well. Sometimes I ask for that first, so I won't be too full at the end. 2. Texas de Brazil: $60 for Dinner/weekend I explain the reasoning below. 3. Rei Do Gado: $64.95 We probably will not come back again, unless someone we know wants to come here. Service was not good; the meats took a long time to reach our table. We had not tried several of the meats we requested. The salad area is the smallest of the three. **COSTCO DEAL** This is the main reason we decided to try Texas de Brazil. For $79.99, we got two $50 gift cards that totaled $100. Reservations: I made a reservation online. We were a little late since we had a difficult time finding the place. I let the staff know we were running late because of it. We waited about 5-10 minutes and were seated. Parking: It was a little hard to find at first, even though we followed the map. I had to call, and the person who answered was nice and took the time to explain where it was located. It's across from the Cheesecake Factory. Their sign was much easier to see at night. It's tucked into a shopping center, but there is plenty of free parking once you figure out where you're going. Setup: The setup is similar to other Brazilian steakhouses we've been to. There's a large salad area with cold items, plus some hot sides you can grab. They brought out Brazilian cheese bread, garlic mashed potatoes, fries, and sweet fried bananas to the table. Service: It was a little slow at the beginning with the meats coming around. We had our cards flipped to green and were waiting for a bit. About halfway through dinner, more meats started circulating, and it definitely picked up. Our main server was attentive, kept our drinks refilled, cleared plates quickly, and checked in consistently. At the other Brazilian steak houses, our main server is usually paired with someone else who checks on us as well. She did not introduce anyone else. Favorite Meats : The meats are slow-roasted over an open flame. The meat is brought to the table and carved in front of you. The meats are cooked medium-rare, and that's how we like them cooked. Our favorites were the Picanha, Garlic Picanha, Filet Mignon, and especially the Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon. The filet was tender and juicy, and the bacon just made it better. Once things picked up, we made sure to grab those cuts again when they came by. They had pineapple served cold at the salad bar. Birthday: They don't offer anything complimentary for birthdays. At the other Brazilian steakhouses, several servers usually come out to sing. That didn't happen here, but our server told us she would sing along with us at the table, which I appreciated. We purchased the crème brûlée and a slice of cake. The staff wrote "Happy Birthday" on the plates, which was a nice touch. And just to be clear... the birthday boys did not share. Ugh! Atmosphere : Nice, but it felt more like a standard steakhouse vibe. Most of the customers were wearing casual attire. You could see the mall's interior, and a lot was going on outside. It was crammed inside, and there was a wait. Overall, we had a good experience, and it was a fun way to celebrate his birthday month. Would we come back? Yes -- especially if they continue to have the deal at Costco!

If you know me, you know one of my favorite dining experiences is Brazilian BBQ. Fogo is the bar I use as a quality market but my last two experiences to Texas de Brazil have made this an even race. First off, remember that this is a very personable dining experience so relax and take the time to talk to your server and gauchos that bring around their meats. Express your likes and it will open up your meal. I'm going to go out on a limb and say my last two visits have backed up my opinion that the meat quality at Texas is actually higher than Fogo. The Pichana, flank steak, and lamb are just better. Texas seems to use a little more seasoning as well and I do like that. My salad bar trips only consist of rice and beans so on that front they are pretty equal. Also a standard is a bowl of farofa with bits of bacon mixed in. You have to do the mixing so don't forget the bacon. You'll use this to dip some of your meat bites into. This is a very Brazilian thing to do. Beef rib is fantastic here so don't skip. Lamb chops are not included sadly although their website shows different. The leg of lamb with the lemon pepper and rosemary seasoning they use is a homerun. Place is huge, clean, and easy to get to. Right across from the Cheesecake Factory so park on that side of the mall.

Great service and a very elegant dining room. I've been to many Brazilian Streakhouses over the years and know what to expect. What's great is parking is easy and you don't have to go through the mall to get here. This spot is small but has a patio which helps during popular nights. Their food and drinks are amazing. Fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly and welcoming. You can't go wrong by choosing to dine here by yourself or with family and friends. Remember to tip well.

Amazing customer service, everyone was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about what food item they are serving. The salad bar is HUGE and unique delicious options. Plenty to choose from and you will leave here stuffed beyond measure. The whole restaurant is extremely clean and even the bathrooms are well kept up. If you've never been, this place is a must on the list.

I love meat! What's better than meat? ALL YOU CAN EAT MEAT! I'm a huge fan of AYCE KBBQ but sometimes you want all the meat but without all the effort. Thank you Texas de Brazil! I can have all the rice I want from the self service bar and all the meat I can eat without having to cook it myself. Such a treat for me to come here. My favorite cuts are beef ribs and picanha. I typically skip the chicken, pork, and sausages and focus on the beef. If you don't see you cut of meat, you can ask the server and they'll let the guys know you are waiting for a particular cut. I like this churrascaria because I feel like there is more room between tables and at the self service bar. The other ones I've been too feel more cramped either in the dining area or in the self serve area. The server gives you French fries, mashed potatoes, plantains, and pão de queijo (cheese bread) but don't load up on those because you're paying for the meat

We went for dinner. Meat, after meat brought to our table. Steak was flavorful, chicken wrapped in bacon...tasty. Sides were delicious, especially the garlic mashed potatoes. My hubby had the rice and he loved the flavorsble, tender rice. Salad with olives, salmon, Caesar salad, prosciutto, olives and a lot of other treats was scrumptious. They have a diverse cocktail selection. The place was indeed crowded, but do much fun eating to your hearts content. Servers were attentive and quick to bring out meats.

I've been to several Texas de Brazil locations and this one delivered the same great quality and service I've come to expect. Compared to Fogo de Chão and Rei do Gado in Gaslamp, Texas de Brazil brought out meats much faster on a weekday. At the other spots, I've noticed the rotation slows down when it's less busy, but here the meats just kept coming. I even kept a list of the proteins on my phone and was able to request specific cuts -- the servers were super accommodating and friendly. Service overall was great, and they did a nice job moving things along while still making sure everyone was taken care of. And I have to mention the bananas -- so good I ordered them three times! Definitely plan on coming back.

I've been coming here so many times and now just gotten their VIP dining card. It's the best deal with being 1/2 off per dinner, only valid from Monday to Thursday though and no holidays. Still worth it. My husband and I come at least once a month. We bring our baby, and a bottle of wine. We do not get their "happy hour" caiprinhas, and I quote happy hour bc they say it's $4 but it's actually $8 bc they make it a double shot during HH. Make sure you specify or they automatically do the up charge to double shot and which btw it's definitely not double the alcohol in there. So we SKIP! We also skip the fancy water $8. Sometimes we get the sparkling. But ask for tap! And not the water that comes in the blue bottle. Yes, there's little ways they add on to your bill. Although it's an AYCE, soft drinks and desserts are not included. Just like any other AYCE! That's standard. For meats, we used to hate coming on weekdays bc the service was so bad. Like the meat guys never came around and we'll just be upset sitting there with no steak. Recently, this year, they stepped up their game, so we don't mind going on the weekdays now. Our favorite meats are filet, picanha (only if they char the fat), and flank steak. They have other meats- garlic sirloin, spicy sirloin, bacon wrapped filet, tri tip, beef ribs, pork ribs, leg of lamb, lamb chops, lamb picanha, parm chicken, sausage. Yes sometimes it can be super salty, other times it's perfect. Here's a secret- eat it with a little of their chimichurri, it's excellent. I also eat it with their malaqueta peppers, pineapple carpaccio, hearts of palm and cornichons to cut the salt and fat. Then the cheese bread to cleanse the palate. I've been to Fogo De Chao recently and that's just garbage. Texas De Brazil is better. This over Fogo any time!

    Picanha steak. Bomb!!

We found ourselves in this upscale Brazilian steakhouse tucked into a mall like it was a hidden meat temple next to The Cheesecake Factory. Classy, right? If you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, imagine Tinder for carnivores, except the meat comes to you, on swords, and you're the one getting swiped (medium to medium rare, unless you're afraid of a little moo, lol)!! We sampled the medley of Picanha, Garlic Sirloin, Spicy Sirloin, Flap Meat, Filet Mignon, and Beef Ribs... each a bit saltier than a pirate's vocabulary. Then came the self-serve wonderland: salad, charcuterie, and hot sides that screamed comfort food: Au Gratin Potatoes, Feijoada Black Beans, Lobster Bisque, and more. Oh, and did i mention the endless parade of Brazilian cheesy bread, mashed potatoes, and plantains? They tried to starch us into submission. Elijah, our server/steak whisperer, was top-tier... basically the maître d' of meat!! He consistently refill our drinks and kept coming back to check on us. Ambiance: Fancy... mood lighting that made you feel romantic... and slightly unsure if you were cutting into meat or your napkin. Final verdict: Bring your appetite, your sodium tolerance, and maybe a flashlight. Salt aside, it was a carnivore's dream come true, and we enjoyed the experience.

I came in with the hubby at noon for the first time yesterday (7/6/25), and was absolutely delighted! Texas De Brazil is a Brazilian steakhouse restaurant. If you are unfamiliar with the concept; it's AYCE, where there is a huge salad, cold/hot item buffet that you can help yourself to, and Gauchos walk from table to table slicing fresh beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and shrimp for diners table-side. My favorites yesterday were the garlic sirloin, the flank steak, and the fillet mignon, but everything was amazing. My husband loved their lamb (I'm not fan of lamb so I didn't try it). The cold buffet is stocked full of salads, charcuterie, cheeses, a good selection of pickled veggies, and salsas. It did not disappoint either. You do have to pay à La carte for drinks and dessert, just so you know. Our service was flawless. Mine and hubby's waters never went below 1/2 full, and our server was there when we needed him, but definitely never hovered. He was a total star! The gauchos came by the table often enough too, and we were never without meat on our plates. As I mentioned above we went at lunchtime, so the dining room itself was quiet, as there were maybe a dozen tables of people. After dining with Texas De Brazil, I imagine they are off the charts busy at diner. So plan accordingly. But this place is definitely worthy of the hype! I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Desserts cost extra .. well worth it

I've had everything from their saltado dishes, empanadas of various kinds, an assortment of their pastries, and ready to go drinks. Everything has been good for the most part. Tho when I'm craving a dessert stop here I favor the guava pastry and the alfajores, & you have to special order the cheese Pastry/bread. I'm a huge fan of "pudim" that's how you say flan in Portuguese! Yet the flan is not my favorite here since the sugar caramelization it's usually cooked too much, causing a burnt flavor, and the consistency is too aerated rather than having a creamy and smooth consistency. I've tried it a few times and that seems to be their consistent style. We get cravings for this place and like that we're mainly serviced by the nice owners of this restaurant. The restaurant is decorated in their native culture in mind. I love that! If you're craving a good empanada or a sweet tooth treat come and give them a try!

Firstly, this is a little food truck located in the parking lot in front of Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Carlsbad. It's a very small mobile cart, but it's hard to miss. When you arrive, you fill out a little paper and mark what size and which toppings you want. These açaí bowls are just like kind you'll find throughout Brazil, made with real açaí berries blended into a sorbet-like consistency. The toppings they have available are on-par with what's available in Brazil so don't expect any crazy stuff that you might be used to with the Americanized versions here in the states. Johnny and Caroline are amazing and provide top-notch customer service. It's just the two of them, but they do their best to make sure you feel welcome and enjoy your açaí. They are only open Saturdays 8am-1pm and Mondays 3:30pm-8pm right now... hopefully with more business they can open more days and become more regular. The space is small and intimate and I think it would be a nice place for a casual date! We were seated quickly and the server was really great throughout the whole meal and very knowledgeable about the food. I appreciated that he let us know about the specials without us needing to ask. We started off with some drinks. I got a red wine sangria and it was good but I did find it to taste a bit watered down but it wasn't a huge deal! We also got a carne empanada and the flavor was to die for. The beef and onion was so delicious and savory. It was juicy inside but the outside was crispy and dry not soggy at all. The portion size was fairly large as well. We also got the yuca frites. They were good. Crispy but still nice and starchy and filling. Not my favorite dish but only because of personal preference and not because they didn't do it well! Lastly we ended with the pork shank special they had for the night. It was absolutely amazing. The meat just fell off the bone and was so tender. I loved how the mushroom and spinach came with the pork. All of the different parts of the fish came together really well to made it exceptional. It was a hearty and comforting meal and I wish it were on their regular menu! I'm excited to come here again in the future to try more dishes.

The place smells decent, decently easy to find so no issues there. Cleanliness: the Buffett definitely needs some upgrading and cleaning. The rug smells and feels sticky to walk on, the counter area was clean but the ice cream section needed a deep clean, the cones were out of the packing and stale. The sprinkles were covered in ice cream and all over the place. The machine was covered in dried ice cream and caked on. I did not go into the restrooms, so I am not sure Food: cold. Everything except for the hibachi I got was cold. Shrimp, pork, chicken, all cold. They have an okay variety of deserts but other than the coffee and orange ones they were pretty bad. The flavor of the food was good, but the temperature of it was what really grossed me out and worry about food poisoning. It was during dinner at around 4pm so crab legs were included. My daughter devoured them and so did I. Best part of the buffet. Customer service: the waiters were very nice and kept our table clear. As soon as they notice we had our empty plates they would come around and grab them. I did notice and maybe it was just for that moment but we did get different waiters just grabbing our plates. Maybe they are doing a system where everyone waits on every table. Whatever they were doing it worked! We did mention at the end that our food was cold after we had paid and all because we were asked how we liked it. She did apologize and told us we should have brought up sooner so they could warm it up. That since it was slow the food gets cold. It was nice she apologized and all, but working in the food industry myself it is not any of the customers job to remind you to keep an eye on food temps. And you're supposed to keep food hot. Regardless they were nice. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it? No. $60 for two adults $9 for my 4 yr old and $5 for my two yr old. So basically $80 for a family of 4 for cold food. Flavor was good though. So if you want to try it maybe you're lucky and get hot foods

The grilled artichoke was popular, but it's not going to fill anyone up. I'd get it again.. The steakhouse dinner brings some fancy aged steaks, with a traditional wood-grilled char and smoke. It's really flavorful steak, and you'd be missing out if you didn't go a little feral on the bone. I find they tend to cook a bit further than other steakhouses, with a medium-rare NY Strip looking well into a Medium. It might be the aging or the fire-grill, but there was no pink left in there, and the ends were pretty dry. Look, I'm never going to kick this off my plate, but maybe order much less cooked than you would at Ruth's, okay? The sides are really nice, fresh, hot, but Small. If you're coming in hungry, they're only going to serve two as a side. There is no baked potato, but their gratin is rich with truffle and flavor. Worthy of the steak. Shrimp Scampi: 3 shrimp ($19). Baked oysters: 5 shells. All odd numbers? If you come here expecting to share equally with two people, prepare for battle. The dessert banana-foster cheesecake was terrific.. 5/5, easily enough for two. Service is impeccable, well-coordinated, with perfect timing.
