I stopped into this Denny's by myself to unwind and reset, and Brandyn made the whole experience feel warm and easy. He was kind, patient, attentive, and had such a calm, welcoming energy. Even though I mostly kept to myself, he still made me feel comfortable and taken care of. At the end of my meal, he left a very kind handwritten note on my receipt thanking me for being nice and patient, and honestly, it made my night. Friday, 5-02-2025: Another way overdue review. We stopped here after my doctor's appointment in San Diego. We were famished and wanted an affordable place to eat, especially when neveoth a senior menu. Denny's fit the bill! It's a very bright & clean restaurant. We were seated right away in a comfortable booth. Parking is plentiful and the outside grounds were nicely maintained. Our server Mariana was so sweet & exuberant, as well as, very attentive & conversational. We both ordered from the Senior Menu the grilled cheese sandwich & fries (prior to us eating clean!). I had a good experience eating here this week with my family. There was one server that helped us and seated us and was very sweet to our family especially our son. She even put up his picture that he colored and gave him another one to color. She made my straberry blueberry shake with popping candidness super Yummmy! And she even gave my son some Oreos to snack on while we ate . He loved his strawberry ice cream and I loved my brownie sundae with ice cream too! My cinnamon roll pancakes were perfect with the over easy egg, bacon, and hash browns. I love when the egg is oozing all over the hash browns with a slight crunch but soft in the inside still. The bacon was cooked perfectly too not too crunchy and not too much fat. My son's waffles were made perfectly and I love those fries with the ranch it's yummy. My hubby enjoyed his country fried steak too he ate it really fast. Also she made my son's Oreo shake yummy to his standards too. Skip this Denny's!!! This was a horrible experience, and I honestly think people should avoid this Denny's. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this one feels worth sharing. We came in to celebrate my daughter after a competition because she wanted breakfast for dinner--something we've done many times at Denny's. I've eaten at Denny's 50+ times, and this was easily the worst visit. It started when we were told my daughter could only choose 2 of the 4 crayon colors because they were on their last box. Small detail, but it set the tone. The iced tea smelled and tasted spoiled and was sent back untouched. The food was bad--rubbery bacon and sausage, an overcooked, tasteless burger, watery ranch that tasted diluted, and cold, stale donut holes for dessert. The only bright spot was the Bourbon Chicken Skillet, which was actually pretty good. The kids menu says "Kids Eat Free EVERY DAY," but at checkout we were told this location only honors it Tuesday and Saturday, pointing to tiny fine print that says "varies by location". That's misleading. To top it off, we were charged for the spoiled iced tea and told to contact HR for a refund. Over $4. Not a big amount, just a strange way to handle it. I came in with my child while it was pretty busy, and our waitress, Casandra, was awesome. She was being pulled in a million different directions but still stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. After a fairly bad experience at another Denny's where we sat forever, watched tables that came in after us get served first, and never even got an update from our waitress before we eventually left, I honestly wasn't expecting much. Casandra completely changed that. She checked on us, kept us updated, made sure we had everything we needed, & never made us feel forgotten even though the restaurant was busy. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers! Great service is hard to find sometimes, and Casandra absolutely deserves recognition for how hard she works. Hello I made a family visit to this location and encountered the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE from Branden. It was too busy but we were a party of 8. Branden was the MAIN server out in the floor. He was running around and making sure everyone had everything they needed. Very attentive and friendly. Had a smile on his face the whole time even though he was juggling about 5 tables alone. Great prices when you choose their value meals and their 55+ meals are decent priced. However anything on the real menu is way too much for a Denny's quality meal.
