The casino itself is very clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly, which definitely makes the experience more enjoyable. There are plenty of machines to choose from across two floors, so there's a good variety depending on what you like to play. One nice perk is that when you sign up for their players club, they give you $20 in free play, which is a great way to get started. That said, the casino is on the smaller side, so it can get very crowded, especially during busy times. Another downside is the area outside. Being downtown, there were some sketchy people lingering outside, which can make it feel a little less safe late at night. As far as the gambling goes, I personally didn't have much luck. After putting about $200 into the slot machines, I didn't even hit a small bonus, which felt like I was robbed. Of course, it's a casino, so wins are never guaranteed, but it would have been nice to see at least something. Typically I lose all but it keeps me playing for a while. It's all in the fun! Overall, not the best casino experience but definitely not the worst either. If you're a gambler and want a casino option right in downtown Chicago, it's worth checking out.

Check-in was completely frictionless thanks to Christian, who greeted us with genuine hospitality, professionalism, and a welcoming attitude. He made us feel valued from the start, and that first impression set the tone for our entire stay. Our room on the 38th floor offered an incredible view overlooking Michigan Avenue. Waking up to the city skyline and watching the energy below was one of the highlights of our trip. The location couldn't have been better, we were able to walk to so many iconic spots, including the five-story Starbucks Reserve Roastery, Garrett Popcorn, and countless shops and restaurants along the Magnificent Mile. After a day of exploring, we stopped by the hotel bar where I ordered my favorite drink an Old Fashioned. It was perfectly made and a great way to end the evening. If you're looking for a hotel with outstanding customer service, an unbeatable location, comfortable accommodations, and easy access to everything downtown Chicago has to offer, I highly recommend the Marriott Magnificent Mile. We'll definitely be back!

I came in on a Friday, and I'll tell you it was packed weddings, business people, tourest and etc it was a lot of people. Even using valet was a pain but I managed it. Honestly, just have to be patient at the end of the day. Rooms were clean and service was great. I actually had a decent view facing the outside towards the shake shack area it was fine it was cool seeing the buildings. Gym is located on the 9th floor, that was amazing. Gym was clean and huge. So many people rushed to work out on a Saturday but it had so much room. I can't say much negative experience sure did it feel outdated in some areas. But it's a Marriot and I had a wonderful experience. Is stay here again.

Truly a 5 star experience at The Langham!…read more I was lucky enough to be gifted a stay and had an incredible time. The hotel is so beautiful, I can see why it's ranked #3 in the nation. If you're able to splurge for club access at $200/person, you'll get to experience stunning city views, breakfast, afternoon tea, snacks, unlimited cocktails, and evening bites. We were also sent a bottle of wine and snacks to our room. I loved that they have a free spa area where you can use the sauna, heated stone loungers, and cold showers. The pool was stunning and we enjoyed swimming, just wish the hot tub was hotter as it was lukewarm. The room was great as well with a Nespresso machine and relaxing tub. Every time we stepped out of the room we would come back to a nice surprise, the room would be cleaned or they would leave the water and ice. Very attentive customer service here. Overall it was nice to live in luxury for the night, highly recommend if you're looking to splurge and relax! Hope I'll be able to stay again someday.

It is fully equipped with a kitchen and ample living space, making it ideal for longer stays or those seeking a residential feel. The cleanliness is exceptional, supported by daily housekeeping that maintains a high standard throughout the visit. The Highlights * The View: One of the standout features is the spectacular, unobstructed view of Lake Michigan. * The Spa: The Trump Spa offers a solid wellness experience. The "Goddess Massage" is a recommended treatment, providing a comprehensive 2-in-1 experience that combines a full-body scrub with a professional massage. The Drawbacks * Dining at Terrace 16: Despite the convenience of a $60 daily breakfast credit, the morning meal at Terrace 16 is best avoided. The food quality does not meet expectations, and the pricing is high enough that guests will almost certainly exceed the allotted credit. * Value Proposition: Between the lackluster breakfast and the potential for high out-of-pocket costs at the restaurant, the dining experience significantly detracts from the overall value. I would totally stay here again for The excellent service, cleanliness and the spectacular view. Love having the kitchen area as well.

Check-in is upstairs not on the main level. The hotel has several restaurants, and I definitely recommend making reservations because the lines can get long, especially on a busy weekend. We also received a 25 nightly credit that could be used at participating hotel restaurants during certain evening hours, but not at the Market. Our room was clean and comfortable. I was on the 20th floor with a river view which was beautiful. I could still hear some music from the boats on the river, which surprised me being that high up, but it wasn't loud enough to disturb my sleep. My mother was on the 30th floor and said she didn't hear anything. Transportation was super convenient. Taxis are right outside, Ubers were easy to get, and there's even a place inside the hotel to rent a car. They even had an area where you can check in for your flight and I believe you could print boarding tickets. There are also nice sitting areas throughout the hotel with city views, charging stations and fireplaces, plus a gym and spaces that look like they can be used for private events. Everyone was nice, but Camille at the front desk was especially helpful and accommodating. It's a little pricey, but we enjoyed our stay. The room even passed my high touch area clean. when I come into hotels I know they have tons of rooms to clean and so they do them very quickly and miss spots so yes, I do come into hotel rooms and clean my room and I will say some hotels comes up dirty especially on the high touch areas but I have to say my room did not have any dirt come up. the bed wasn't the most comfortable. I feel like it kind of sunk in the middle. The location is a BIG plus you're right near Michigan Avenue and plenty of attractions, restaurants and other things are within walking distance.

The outside roof top sitting area was delightful to enjoy a take out lunch or dinner. The hotel staff were absolutely helpful and friendly. One of the best part of our Chicago trip was meeting Wallace, the guest service manager. He was absolutely welcoming to me and my guests right from the start when we were waiting to check in. Wallace provided recommendations of places to eat, best ways of transportation or walking to get places. His positive energy was so infectious that we were so pumped to experience the ChiTown city vibe. Thank you for the laughs, Wallace!! The location of the hotel was fantastic! Lots of great restaurants to walk to. The hotel is very close to bus stops and train stations for public transportation. Also, just a few blocks from the Chicago riverwalk. Highly recommended! Total was $660 with tax etc. Look, it doesn't pass the eye test. It's in a fine area downtown (nothing too shady) but the lobby is meh and the set up is weird, you walk outside to take an elevator up to the rooms. The elevator itself was super sketch and had trash all inside it. The floor layout is very motel like, creaky lights and dusty, so I was scared to finally get to my room. Lo and behold, the room was fine. Cons: TV is unwatchable, it's horizontal to the bed. No mini fridge (never seen a hotel with no mini fridge). Above all else, the room was clean, bathroom clean, and bed was comfy. Hotel was quiet too, but omg the AC unit is literally from the 1980s and so loud I had to turn it off in the AM. Front desk guy was nice and they give you as many (warm) water bottles you want. Overall, fine for a 2 night stay but next time I'm in town prob not staying here. *Update: Smoke alarm detector broke and started beeping at 3am and wouldn't stop. No help beyond "take battery out" which did not stop it. 1 star now and will be asking for a refund tomorrow.
