When I moved to the area in 2008, I often got take-out from Golden Dragon. It was pretty good. Then, around 2013, everything started tasting the same. Maybe new owners or different chef? My husband would rather drive 20 minutes each way to Great Tang's. read more

First and last time eating here. We ordered and were told 40 minutes until it would be ready. This seemed pretty long but we wanted to give this place a shot. We showed up 45 minutes later to be told they just started to cook our food. It was over an hour until we walked out with our food. You would have thought they were very busy but they were not. The food was not good. I have never had pork fried rice that was almost black and smelt sour. The egg roll was cold and the food overall looked very strange compared to what it looks like from other restaurants. We stopped eating after a couple of bites and gave up on dinner. We were very disappointed with the entire experience and unfortunately won't be back in the future. read more

Took 40 minutes for a pickup order of shrimp fried rice and general tso chicken. Plastic curtains enclosed kitchen and cashier station. 40 minutes, worked fine for my situation, but 40 minutes with low visible activity. The fried rice was tasteless and hardly resembled any fried rice I have ever had. The general tso's chicken was nothing like general tso's chicken I have ever had, was basically fried chicken chunks covered in some sort of tabasco based sauce. I came from a town with many chinese options and when I moved here I was nervous having just one being in a small town. It was the BEST chinese I've ever had. I've never seen crab Rangoon stuffed so full, the General Tso sauce had a unique taste, not just the same as everyone else, and the vegetables all tasted fresh and you could tell were sautéed to order. No boring frozen taste. The rice was brown, not the normal yellow fried rice. All in all, it was just good, fresh tasting Chinese food. The reason for taking one star is the LO mein didn't taste like there was anything on it but I would rather that then too much sauce to cover up the frozen, old taste! read more

The food here is inconsistent. I ordered sesame chicken and general tsao's chicken. My sesame chicken tasted super spicy with sesame sprinkled on it. I have food allergie to spicy peppers such as jalepeno so this is a major concern for me. Plus, it shows laziness on the part of the kitchen staff that they made my dish incorrectly. We've ordered here once before and the food was again, mediocre at best. I will not be back. read more

The Gold Dragon's food is EXCELLENT. I have never been treated rudely and they have never once, in the 5 years that I have been going there, gotten an order wrong. We ordered over the phone and the employee was very nice. Although our food was cold and the rice was to dark and mushy. It tasted terrible. It Looks like it was cooked in to much syrup. The beef sticks taste sour and were also cold. The Egg foo young was to floury, and the gravy was to dark. The service although was great. We have eaten at a lot of Chinese places. This is the second time we ordered because we decided to give it another try. I'm sorry to say we were not satisfied. I would like to give it 1 star but added one for good service! read more

Living in such a small town it is so nice to have a great Chinese place. They are excellent and have never messed up an order. The food is always extremely hot and when my brother comes into town we always order from there. They are always friendly, and considering how small the town is, and how far we live from bigger places, it isn't badly priced either. Just moved to the area and was told to try it out. For what it is (a small town restaurant) it's good. The egg rolls are the biggest I have ever seen and the second best (and that is saying something, I filled up on the two egg rolls!) However the lemon chicken was completly blaaaa, the lemon sauce is too salty and no real lemon flaor there is something else almost gross about it (maybe a bad after taste) I am not sure how to explain it and the chicken is completly flavorless. They don't take cards and only checks if you live in Corinth, NY. The pork fried rise was unlike I have ever had and you can take that how you want. It was more then just eatable which again is more then I can say about the lemon chicken (my cat didn't even like the plain chicken, and that is just a little scary.) I will go back if not just for the egg rolls! If your passing by or new to the area I would suggest trying it out. read more
