Hubby and I were craving Chinese food while staying in the area. We searched Yelp and found Dragon City, we decided to order lunch since the options were very limited. We ordered general Tso's chicken with pork fried rice, small order of spare ribs, chicken lo mein and an egg roll. I thought everything was just okay, nothing really stood out. The ribs were a little on the tough side but had good flavor. The pork fried rice was bland and needed soy sauce. The general Tso's chicken was decent, not too spicy. The chicken lo mein was the best thing we ordered. Soft noodles, good amount of chicken, crunchy veggies. The egg roll was pretty good especially dipped in the sweet & sour sauce. Not the best Chinese food I've ever had but not the worst. I probably would not order from here again if I was in the area. read more

Every town in America has their Chinese takeout spot, and this is Northville's (and also Wells's, because they're too small to be considered a town). It's not going to blow your mind, but it will certainly hit that saucy, fatty spot that is the reason every town in America has a joint like this. The folks behind the counter and in the kitchen are super nice, and they pump out the favorites: General Tso's chicken, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, orange beef, shrimp lo mein. You want spring rolls? Egg rolls? Dumplings? Scallion pancakes? It's all here, and it'll satisfy the craving we all have from time to time. read more

This USED to be a 5 star place. Great food and great service. I just came back home 4 1/2 years later and ordered. I sent my brother to pick it up. First, they waited until we put our card into their ATM and requested $40. They accepted the charge and THEN shouted that it didn't work and demanded we go to the bank ATM up the street, and bring back CASH. So...we didn't realize they were ROBBERS, not realizing they MUST have changed ownership, and when we got home they hadn't given us the Sweet and Sour Shrimp listed on the order, and PAID FOR, and ended up paying $72 for the order, INSTEAD of $40 (the $40 PLUY$32 cash. They didn't deserve a tip. ROBBERS ROBBERS ROBBERS. Don't go there unless you have cash, and check your order BEFORE you leave the counter. If I was allowed to give them a negative score I WOULD!!! BAD BAD PEOPLE!!! I just tasted one of my favorite things from Dragon City (the OTHER thing was Sweet and Sour Shrimp. They left it off the order. But AGAIN, they charged us for it. ) Wonton Eggdrop Soup. And the Wonton meat tastes bad. I'm just beside myself, because that left ME with a Spring Roll. YaY me! $72 for a Spring Roll. 2/19/25 when going into this restaurant for lunch for the first time today, we were greeted by the most unfriendly lady. She didn't speak to us, just stared at us. We were still looking at the menu, so she went back into the kitchen. After a few minutes she came back to take our order. I ordered vegetable lo Mein and asked if it came with crunchy noodles. She looked dead face at me and said sternly "no", like I was supposed to know that! I then asked if I could get some and in the same tone said yes. It was very odd and uncomfortable! I asked her if everything was alright because I was getting a very bad vibe from her. I asked her if it was ok that we were there! Her attitude changed a bit when I asked her these things and she became just a tiny bit normal and said it was fine. we were the only two in the restaurant , possibly that's due to the way patrons are treated. I wanted to leave before we got our meal, even though it was paid for, but we did stay. I just don't understand why we were treated like this!!! read more

Pretty darn good Chinese food, in this quaint, small town. Definitely worth trying out! The hot & spicy shredded chicken, and the shrimp with Chinese vegetables are two of our favorites. Would love to see fresh spring rolls with rice wraps added to their expansive menu. read more

For Northern NY - this is good chinese food. I believe the owners name is Frankie Young.(Probably a name he chose so people could say it) He makes some amazing spicy dishes. Also, if you talk to him while you are there - he is a good enough cook and creative enough so that he probably can cook most things you can describe. They make a great Pu-Pu platter. The sesame shrimp and chicken are amazing. The sczechuan sauce here is amazing. One would have to travel a long distance from Northville to get better Chinese food. And its inexpensive as well. Wednesday night Chinese takeout. Great. Crab Rangoon was crispy & flavorful. (Sauce was a disappointment. Sugar water) pork rolls crunchy & fresh. We had wonton soup great taste of wontons, pepper steak. Steak was tender. Shrimp with Chinese vegetables was the best with big shrimp & lots of fresh vegetables. Will definitely be back. read more

For anyone that actually likes this type of Chinese food I feel bad for you. I had ordered the most popular Chinese dish in the world, 'general taos' chicken and crab Rangoons. Mind you this is my first time ordering/eating here ever. Let's start with the "10 minutes" that I was told on the phone. I got down there in about 15 minutes walked in and my food still wasn't ready, not only was my food not ready but it said 'cash only' on the wall. Which is absolutely ridiculous it's 2017 get with the program or at least just remind the customer when they call. I figured their ATM was ridiculously priced so I walked over to Stewarts took money out, came back and it was just coming out. 20 minutes plus. The price was cheaper then most Chinese restaurants in a 50 mile radius, I will say that as the one positive remark that I have for this poor restaurant. Came home got my food out, the dish was 3/4 rice and 1/4 chicken first thought was, 'wow no wonder why it's so cheap'. Rice was dry, and chicken had definitely been cooked earlier in the day and was scooped into a dish then warmed up and served, also it was poor qaulity chicken if you cut in half there is not one stich of white meat in it.Disgusting! Sauce was ok luke warm. For the crab Rangoon, absolutely zero taste, it looked like cat puke floured and thrown into a dirty deep frier, it had maybe 1 pc of nasty processed crab in it. This restaurant will definitely not last long at all with this quality of food. It's very clear this place is being poorly managed. I will never eat here again. To end my review for anyone that thinks this is good Chinese, if you want to know what real Chinese food tastes like go 'Peking' in Saratoga on congress st. about 25 miles away. read more

This Chinese restaurant was an excellent choice 6 months ago, new owners, food taste went to hell, service is sub par, long waits, no "ten minutes"....this Chinese food tastes like the level in Gloversville or Johnstown. It used to be the best around and it used to compare to any major city's Chinese restaurant. Many people are very frustrated and have stopped going there. It was a good run, maybe a burger place will replace it over the winter. read more

Consistently great Chinese food. Always on time, always hot and the variety is amazing. Don't know how they do it. We're originally from downstate and this restaurant is definitely on a par, often way above the Asian restaurants we've eaten at in the past. I will never go back here again. The lady that took our order was very rude, the food was horrible. When my friend went up to the counter to get a to go tray for my fiances food that was left over, she was sitting at the table behind the counter eating her food while watching tv, then tossed her bowl of food on the table and rolled her eyes because she had to get up from eating and watching tv to give her a to go container. When i was trying to place my order i asked for my fiance to grab me a pencil to circle my order she rudely said here and slammed one on the counter. When I grabbed a bottle of soda out of the cooler and sat down at my table to wait for our food, I opened my drink to take a sip and it did not taste right only to find the soda was out of code. When I brought it up to the counter to politely ask if I could switch for another soda and pointed out that the one I have grabbed out the cooler was out of code, she tried to tell me the code was for jul 23 2014 when I work in retail and know how to read codes and that it was clearly jun 23 2014. I will never go back there due to the lack of respect toward new customers. Their customer service is horrible and their food was not good at all. read more
