My husband and I retired, moved off of Long Island, and had trouble finding good Chinese food and service... Our friends brought us to Feng Bistro and the food & experience were the best we have had since retiring. We had sushi, chicken and broccoli, dumplings and more... Everything was prepared beautifully, the staff was extremely pleasant and the ambiance was creative... I highly recommend Feng! read more

The best Chinese food in the Lake George region hands down, I've tried many dishes here and haven't found one I didn't enjoy. This place cooks its meals just like many New York City Chinese restaurants do. The sushi is also very good. The place has a traditional Chinese decor and feel. I ordered delivery from here. Delivery was extremely quick. The menu was extensive and offered cuisine from other Asian countries. I had a difficult time trying to get through their phone line (constantly busy), and when I did, they said no hibachi was available. Bummer. So I had to look at the menu and call again after perusing the menu again. Ultimately decided on a few sushi rolls, a fried shrimp egg roll, and a pad thai. The sushi tasted very fresh and delicious. However, the shrimp egg roll and pad that were not good at all. The shrimp egg roll was mushy. The pad thai, although a good portion, was very bland and had no flavors of what pad that should be. My daughter and I stopped by here. The food was amazing. The presentation was beautiful. The staff were attentive and helpful.

Pros: Our Hibachi chef was very enthusiastic and a great entertainer! The garlic chicken stir fry was perfectly saucy in that wonderfully unhealthy American-Chinese style (yum). Cons: The Hibachi food itself was very bland in general. The Hibachi chicken was weirdly chewy and underwhelming. Our sushi was served on a warm plate (must have just come out of the wash) and the raw fish was thus warm..... yucky. Unfortunately, I think that my overall experience was worse this season under this new management company than last season. I'll be back again to see if there's any improvement in the food taste and quality. read more

The atmosphere is a little confusing. It feels pseudo Japanese, but they're playing classic rock. The food is fresh. The specials (i.e. tuna poke bowl, spicy shrimp wontons) are great. The sushi portions are too small and the higher priced than nearby comparable restaurants. The drinks at the bar are hit-or-miss. It really depends on who they put behind the bartender. This is not a place to go for great cocktails. There is almost never a wait. It's easy for families and date-night alike. The hibachi may require a reservation during the summer. They have fun semi private booths sunken into the floor. Overall... if you go here, be prepared to overpay a bit. It's better than most of the other dining experiences you'll have just north in lake george village. You'll be happy. read more

We went to Feng Bistro hibachi for dinner. I have never experienced a more bland hibachi dinner. It was like it was never salted or seasoned. Everything was bland from the rice and noodles to all the veggies, meats and seafood. The chef put a few squirts of soy sauce and something else in it and that seemed to be it. The service was pretty bad too. We were literally the only people in the restaurant and the waitress never took our plates away! The men at the table actually got up to remove all of our soup and salad bowls, so we could have some space! It was terrible. I can think of a much better way to spend 50 bucks a person! read more

Hubby and I frequented this restaurant prior to the new owner taking over. It was always very good. This time was no exception. We shared the bbq ribs for an appetizer, and it came with a side of mustard. They were tender and the mustard was a great accompaniment. Additionally I had the hot &sour soup, which was only missing the crunchy Chinese noodles! I had the Shrimp Thai noodle dish which was excellent! Very fresh and delicious. My husband had the house special lo mein, which he too said was delicious. The only thing that was disappointing was they did not serve Chinese noodles. We came here twice in 3 days, while visiting Lake George. First time, after 30 minutes, we were told the kitchen staff did not speak English and the translation machine was broke. That they were struggling to get the order in. The server was fair, but did not really communicate the situation until I went in. Second night, slow service, food was less than stellar. not great. not much flavor at all def wouldn't get it again. ordered take out. over priced for what we got. the egg rolls were decent and the boneless spare ribs were very flavorful and tender. duck sauce was good and we loved the endamame.
