Still the best Chinese restaurant in Saratoga county. Trust me I been to so many that were total flops, but this family owned and run place is perfection. Service is always super fast and they are one of the kindest people to deal with. Here's a secret cheat code to Chinese chicken that every one does but is hardly ever asked about. When you order any chicken dish ask to make it with white meat. They usually charge you extra but it's worth it. Instead of tougher cuts you get delicious tender meat that's amazing. I start with a call that I received from my wife telling me that a delivery guy by the name of Ryan falsely accused her of writing a bad review online. I was at work while this all happened, but I couldn't believe the level of disrespect and pure ignorance. To accuse my wife of such a thing, which #1 she never writes reviews, and #2 she ordered the food from you idiots, which means she is still a loyal customer. If she truly hated the food, then she wouldn't even bother picking up the phone to call you dumbasses in the first place. I had a travel here and ordered the pick up. After I went back my hotel, I found there is neither chopsticks nor fork in my food bag. I called the restaurant kindly to remind them they forgot to put the eating stuff inside of it. The receptionist said they normally don't put chopsticks or forks in the delivery bags UNLESS customer request. This is so ridiculous, let us grab food by hand!!? This place is disgusting. I ordered Orange chicken and general tso chicken. BOTH are pink inside, clearly under cooked. We called and complained and they said that the chicken comes in precooked! So they give you frozen food that they warm up!!!! So gross! And we also got tofu which is also disgusting. It's greasy. I drive almost 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs to Panda Garden as it is without a doubt the best Chinese in the area. For one, the restaurant service is beyond attentive; never have I seen someone in a Chinese restaurant ask a table how they liked their food like they did at Panda Garden, they were very polite on the phone and exceptionally friendly in person, and they make their own sauces that you can get on request for free. It was an excellent sign that they have an open kitchen, which is rare except for fine dining, which I could see appeared clean. In regards to the food and price, 5 out of 5; fresh vegetables in the dishes, actually fried chicken with sesame chicken (not soggy like some places), great fried rice (actual fried rice - not the yellow rice that some places serve) - all for excellent prices, the rice under $5 and the entrees around $8. For American Chinese, I will continue to drive from Saratoga to SGF, and have recommended the place to multiple people. Also, they clearly put effort in the decor! - there is a fish, a water feature, posters, and a maneki-neko cat!! This is the second time I have eaten here in the last three months. Both times I ordered the same item to go, the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Both times the broccoli was ice cold although the first time I thought it was a fluke as it was extremely cold outside. The rice was very good both times and was steaming hot. The first time the shrimp was ok, the second time it was terrible and tasted as if it had been cooked two times. The breading was so tough I first thought they had not peeled the shrimp. It is a shame because they are friendly people and I got a mountain of shrimp both times, enough for two people. I will not revisit. read more
