I've been meaning to write a review but I was busy and kept forgetting. But I've got time today! Back in November 2020 a realtor introduced me to Pauline Amstutz (the Manager Broker). When I was first introduced to Pauline, in the beginning she responded to my calls and emails very quickly and was very kind. She was able to approve a loan for me because I had credit scores of 799 to 815. My only issue was that I only had $16,000 which is a lot in my opinion but was not enough. I asked Pauline if she had any type of programs that would assist people like me and her whole demeanor changed. It was almost as if I was bothering her. And when I tried to reach her again, she wasn't quick with responding to my calls or emails after I had called twice and emailed twice. When she called me, she wasn't very kind and her attitude gave me the impression that she didn't want to work with me. I was shocked. In the meantime, I found a realtor in another County where I was buying my home and that Realtor tried to reach Pauline but Pauline would not respond (my realtor told me that she called twice). My realtor told me that when she finally got a hold of Pauline, Pauline, in a very rude and unprofessional way said "who's Teresa!? I have lots of Teresa's!" My realtor very kindly gave her my full name. My realtor said that Pauline was very rude and that it would be a risk working with her since we had to chase her to get a return call and didn't want this behavior when searching for a home in a hot real estate market. I never received any emails or calls from Paula after that. (this is my edited part because of the reply to my review that is a blatant lie). The conclusion of the matter is, in my opinion and from my experience, is that Pauline is only nice to you when you have everything going for you perfectly (more money) so that it makes it smooth sailing for her to get her money from YOUR loan and if you cause her any work, you're not the customer that she wants to deal with. It's really sad because there are a lot of people who are in my shoes, trying to purchase a home and we put our trust in these lending companies and Realtors qho know of the many deals and programs out there and we expect that they are doing their best for the customer especially since they get paid so much from the work that they do. I wish that they would just tell you up front how they feel instead of ignoring you and becoming very unprofessional and rude. I know that Pauline didn't care about me like some of the reviews states how she cares about the "customers" because she NEVER called me back to follow up with me to see if I still wanted her to help me purchase a home. My feelings after she was rude and unprofessional to me AND my realtor were right on point. THAT's how I know she was more focused easy money and not on the customer. So though this company has many stars, I am sure that there are some who have felt this way but may not say it. I only give reviews when something really bothers me and when I want the lesson of how important it is on how we treat people and/or cause people to feel. #karma.....On a positive note, I found another company that was VERY professional and kind and I am now in a 3-bedroom 2-bathroom home, 1670 square feet with a great interest rate and great loan (and escrow closed 12/10/2020). AND this happened immediately the same week after I decided not to work with Pauline Amstutz any more. read more
