So honest! Dennis has deep knowledge of bikes, fountain pens and other collectibles (which we happened also to collect), and he was realistic and fair in his appraisal of the best way to move our overflowing possessions 'down the road.' We will follow his advice on selling our goods through some easy channels and an estate sale company, and then, when it's less of a mountain of deferred decisions, use Dennis for the final clearout. It would have given them a five star but as I was checking out, I noticed someone at the tables on the opposite side of me, looking at two loppers. I mentioned that I didn't notice the loppers earlier to the cashier (who was super sweet). She turned around to look at the loppers, then asked her colleague, who was stationed at the jewelry, if the loppers were on hold for someone. Instead of hearing what she was saying, he thought it was appropriate to get angry at the customer who was looking at them. He was so angry that he must have forgotten how to be a human, because basically just yelled at the customer, saying "No!" and huffed as he furiously waved to where I was standing, indicating that the customer should be on the side where I was standing. Did he think the customer couldn't speak English? Is that why he stopped using his words and just waved his hands? From a customers perspective, this was wildly off putting. Even my partner and his mom and the lady who checked me out were shocked.

Fine Estate Sales will do their best to sell your product, or items in your estate. It is your decision to set a special price for an item, or, let their experts set the price. If you are not happy with this business, then let them know and negotiate. Be a business person and DEAL WITH the problem with the source. Deal with it as a business owner, instead of writing a long boring novel that lost my attention after merely looking at the size of the review. Everyone needs to understand, Fine Estate Sales, or any similar company, is not Macy's, Nordstroms, Nieman Marcus or Louis Vuitton, etc. So unless you set a price, or negotiate a contract before signing or amend the contract, there lies an agreement, hand shake, i.e. a contract. I saw…read morein the window a few interesting things and had no idea there was a thrift estate sake store here still. I saw a really cute littke Snoopy figure in the window and went in to ask about it. I stood in front of the salesperson who was behind a counter on a phone or just distracted and I said hello. I asked about the Snoopy in the window. He told me it was $50. I asked if I could see it. He told me I would need to buy it to see it. What kind of store does that? Apparently this store that I won't be buying a Snoopy at. Ugh. There's so much random stuff in this store that I don't understand it at all. Unpolished silver, used vintage silk tops with armpit stains, hats, art to decorate your oldest living relative's house...and a Fender Knock off guitar in the window selling for $450, but worth less than $60.
