Come into the store to pay and let them know what you are there for. They will have a representative meet you along the side of the building where the propane tank filling station and garden supplies are located. After you have paid, drive your vehicle to along the side of the store, put it in park, and then bring your canister into the gated side yard. The representative will check the canister to make sure it is in decent condition and valid to be filled. It was late in the day, so the patio was shaded. It took a few minutes to fill. The representative was kind enough to carry the full tank to my car. Great service! It cost about $25. Worth it to have full canisters on hand, especially with hurricane season on its way.

Ace has good quality paint, including Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines, Clark & Kensington and Benjamin Moore. I came for a gallon of Ben Moore paint, with a color in mind that was from Sherwin Williams. Fortunately, these companies do share formulas so that they can match each other's colors. I got exactly what I wanted without a longer drive. The store is also stocked with everything you might need for a home project. It's good to shop this conveniently located store and they are for sure, a helpful hardware place.

Customer service is good, if you need a return, the process is fast and easy as long as you bring a receipt. Prices are competitive and the selection is good, after all, Lowe's is a big store. If a handyman sends me there for supplies, I can always ask the guys in the store if I can't locate a #9 x 1-1/2 in deck screw. Kudos to these hard working and knowledgeable employees, if they don't know, they will look it up on their phones. Lowe's is in a good location and parking is easy. When I arrived at the job site and opened the box, I found old, dried food still inside the disposal. It was clearly a used item that had been returned and placed back on the shelf without being properly inspected. As a handyman, this meant I had to stop the job, pack everything back up, drive all the way to Lowe's, exchange the product, and then return to my customer's home. I lost approximately an hour of work because of a mistake that should never have happened. When I explained the situation to the service desk and asked if there was any way they could compensate me for the time I lost due to their error, one employee actually laughed and dismissed me with, "Have a nice day, sir." That response was far more disappointing than the original mistake. A manager eventually offered a 30% discount on a future purchase, which I appreciate, but it still doesn't change the fact that I lost valuable work time or that I was treated disrespectfully. Mistakes happen. Selling a returned item as new is one thing. Laughing at a customer who has been inconvenienced by your mistake is another. As someone who spends thousands of dollars each year on materials for my business, I expect better quality control and much better customer service. Going forward, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Ace is more expensive than the big box stores, but paying a little extra for convenience can be well worth it. Ace always tries to make things right for their customers and JJ did a great job. Ace is a good store to shop at, especially when you don't want to go miles out of your way to get to a Home Depot.
